Js1990..
Agreed. All tests are needed.
However, Carl's test will be standalone and also complementary to others.
If I am right and Avactas is specific but not sensitive, you need an additional test.
PCR or a very fast test to confirm!
That's what makes the investment here a winner. Covid aint going away in the near term.
Test and Trace systems are buckling all over Europe, including Germany.
The pandemic is gaining its grip!
Carl's test - fast (tick), sensitive (tick), specific (tick)
Test, test, test
There are a couple of antigen tests which are very likely to meet sensitivity criteria but thats fine! The UK will need billions of these tests per year and theres no one 3 companies can provide the demand - Even if 10 companies came up with eligible rapid antigen tests they would all sell at their maximum manufacturing capacity.
Kainos,
happy to wait here and Avacta to Q1 21.
Not ramping. Just joining the dots.
Lets see when lab data is revealed!
Time will tell. Time will tell.
The Lumira test is very close to MHRA Guidelines Desired Criterion.
DYOR.
Carl's test - fast (tick), sensitive (tick), specific (tick)

It not a certainty, no share is. Can we stop the squabbling, some are happy the way things are going, others are not so convinced, that's ok, live and let live......this has always been a reasonable board to catch up on things, lets try keep it going.
tom - c'mon
You in deep here?
tick - tick - er ... tock
Respect your posts sir but ....

Euclid55, no have not forgot as I am invested in Avacta.
No data has been provided by Avacta.
No lab data.
No clinical trial data.
Nothing.
Sona Nanotech provided both sets!
Avacta nothing.
I think the Avacta test is highly specific. But not sensitive.
The Boots Lumira test is an Fluorescence immunoassay device with an instrument to provide a result within 12 minutes. Sounds familiar technology wrt Carl's test.
Sensitivity of 98% and specificity of 97%.
Just short of Desired Criterion.
The inhouse aptamer will be specific.
Hence, Carl's test will get us over the line here!
Just need to wait for Carl to validate lab data for Sensitivity & Specificity.
The three S's would be speed!!

Hey jodrell - you OK mate?
Bit up and down and around and around.
AIM - not for bedwetters

Rubbish AIM day all round / Macro - good to see RMS bounce up after 29% down AM - sure the traders did well but good for BRH.
NEWS
Who doesn't like a conspiracy theory.
David Wilson of AVCT today talked about "Sovereign Supply".
BRH have been pretty quiet both officially (RNS) and Media / - other than Prof Carl's excellent pro-active interview.
GOV looking at all possible tests - I can't convince myself someone from HM GOV has not had a "butcher's" at the PARA test / Prof Smythe work to date.
NDA - or - keep quiet we will help you etc but you need to go Sovereign club...
Happy Thoughts for a Wednesday and possibly too ramptastic - but looking forwards to the rest of the week when the market hopefully cheers up a bit.

Tom visual, your forgetting about Avct's antigen test?
Carl's test potentially is the only antigen test that may meet MHRA Guidelines Desired Criterion
Fact or fiction ,you may well ask, what a lot of children, one day forecasting a rise to ridiculous levels, next saying it will drift , due to test not being ready till probably March, most of the guys are wearing rose tinted spec,s . By the way I am invested here, fairly substantially. But the silly forecasts do nothing to help, just trying to influence the Mm , and that’s futile.
Thanks for clarifying.
Newbie,
Carl mentioned test would be ready Spring 21.
Carl's test potentially is the only antigen test that may meet MHRA Guidelines Desired Criterion.
The ONLY antigen test!!
We still await the route map with Project Milestones from BoD.
I expect RNS with details.

If P2F confirm they have forward sold most if not all the 5m per month then that gives tangible P/E value to P2F and therefore RMS and not just a speculative one. At 50p per mask you're looking at £30m rev per year for starters so the value and with that BRH's value will rise from where it is now. The RMS stake puts a significant floor in the value of BRH until Paraytec put some detail on routes to revenue with their product. This will then create a significant increase in the value of BRH. Which is what I suspect was TB's plan all along.
It will only drift to 30p if its stake in rms goes back to 1p. The world needs masks no matter the situation or environment and that will probably be the case for next decade at least
Brh's current stake valuation is £10.4m.
Test not ready until march ?
Is that a fact or fiction ?
Jodrel, mgng you invested here??
It does not sound like it!

The SP will drift higher die to the holding in RMS.Lot of Red today so investors uneasy.
Soon change tune, test was going to be ready December, bad news kept under wraps, . Where are all the prophets Now , gone quiet, just a guessing game.
The share price will drift slowly downwards over the next few weeks and will end up in the low 30’s. The test albeit extremely exciting is not due until March and will need buy in from a major pharma, amazed at the moment that so little interest in the test, why is that I wonder??
