“Tootles” along to Never Neverland to find your marbles mon ami.
Oh dear I hope I wasn’t.t being prophetic there with never!,
GLA.
Never mind marbles - I found that missing sandwich today if anyone wishes to claim it ha ha ;@)
I think a number of us long sufferers are becoming a little stir crazy, the occasional hint of any news, other than the usual tantrums which occur over on the islands, is jumped on and we look for any tenuous link to BPC and we then revert to head/ar5e scratching.
We are almost into September so nearing the commencement of Q4 if we take it January to December - so relatively close to finding out one way or another. Stay safe and enjoy the week as if it is your last (just in case it is ;@))
If you can't then just be the one to make someone else smile. I just open the door each morning in my shreddies, and wave at passers by whilst pouring rice crispies onto the garden gnomes. Picture the scene and then try and get the scene out of your head.
of all the things I have lost whilst watching and waiting for the BPC tale to unfold I miss my marbles most.
Oops! Respectacles
P.I.
Nice post.
You mentioned “retrospectively”
I prefer retrospeculatively with my rose coloured repesectacles on.
I suspectively believe that the retros will be fired soon and we will go into orbit - and land somewhere near “Iceland” where you can buy blue chips in the freezer section,
Ok ok
I’ve lost the plot possibly like yourself.X
GLA.
Over the past 10+ days BPC has exhibited many of the traits of a good blue chip share.
stay with me on this one.
Share price has been very stable trading within a predictable range retrospectively.
Almost zero volatility in terms of spread. At no point in the past 10 days has the spread been wider than 0.2p.
No mention of BPC or any BPC employee in any of the UK Tabloid press for anything not related to BPC business.
Dividend payment stable year on year.
Dividend payment more than covered by current assets.
BOD interests aligned to share performance. (OK so there is still an argument that Basic Salary is a little on the high side - but much more can be made from share performance)
Great cost control - operational costs falling YOY over the past 5 years.
OK so there are a few key elements of a blue chip we are missing but let's not fall out over the small details like achievements met against objectives set, or profit, or comms, or shareholder value add, or...or...or...
OK so BPC would be a rubbish blue chip. I take it all back. I thought I was on to a winner at first.
(Much like the BPC story)
