Starchiild - Great post
For greater efficiency and to minimise the size of permanent de-rampers’ annoying posts, I have created the following list which they can select from to copy/paste/edit, or optionally just post a number between 1 and 12 in future.
1. Ah but, BPC does not have the funding in place.
2. Ah but, there has to be share dilution of at least [enter number] TRILLION new shares at [enter price below 0.0001p].
3. Ah but, the Stena ship could get lost at sea as it is near the southern tip of the Bermuda Triangle.
4. Ah but, when spudding, the drill could get stuck.
5. Ah but, I am informed from reputable sources which I cannot disclose, there are giant squids in the area that attack [drill] ships.
6. Ah but, Stena is Swedish. Lego is Swedish and the drill ship may be partially built with Lego, unreliable and therefore the spud will fail.
7. Ah but, Oil Man Jim said…..[ ]
8. Ah but, even if the spud is a success and samples are proven to be good, BPC does not have the money to drill appraisal wells for 10 years, therefore the share price will collapse to sub 1p. [repeat points 1 and 2]
9. Ah but, even if the spud is a total success, major oil companies will not want to do a farm-out because [enter nutty reason], therefore the share price will collapse to sub 1p.
10. Ah but, even if BPC finds 2 billion barrels of oil, with a p90 percentage of 90%, no one will want to buy it because Greta Thunberg will nag them not to, and anyway people will use electric vehicles by then.
11. Ah but, 2 billion barrels of proven oil is worth nothing because [enter nutty reason] and BPC’s share price will actually decrease to sub 1p because [enter another nutty reason]
12. Ah but, the SP will be lower tomorrow because [any reason you can think of, not listed above. This is the desperate option if holding a CFD short position while the SP is soaring, or you were silly enough to have sold at the wrong time.]
And for Irene…
13. Oopsie Kootise….bottle tops……0 b…..zero revenue….. poppadum …….they will need to do a CLN to pay for next month’s cleaning lady…… Furby
Key takeaway: This is a public forum and people can post nearly anything as long as it is not FAKE news. To opine the SP will plummet by 90% or increase by 90% in 1 day, is not FAKE news as it is an opinion, normally a daft one. However, I invite those that read these forums without contributing, to check the credibility of any poster by clicking on his/her name and reading their recent posts. (a) Do they back their posts with evidence or research? (b) If always negative, why are they on this BB unless professional de-rampers or short sellers? (c) Do they regularly switch from being positive to negative (and visa versa) about the share price and company’s future? And ALWAYS DYOR or seek independent professional advice.
This unusual post was written because a number of NEW curious investors may be reading this BB based on articles in the press over the next few days a
