People pulling figures out of their behinds. 70p?! Its plain to see that when the market moves on these stocks be it good or bad news theres little you can do about it - happens so quickly. £1.30 was always a bargain and there were months it was available and at even less recently. Hollywood bowl will not return post covid in same position they went in. They will return better with new puttstars centres , growth opportunities new centres. growth growth growth and its quite an easy business to keep open during partial lockdown requirements. screen between lanes - job done. Profitable from day 1 of re-opening. really underrated business which will see £3 in 2021/2022 at some point i believe.
It's been a tough week for shorters... Smart investors have been averaging down over the last few months.
lovely news today, hows your 70p target looking now?
obviously not here to say i told you guys. 70pence for this share you two were in dreamland. you just pick a figure out of the air rather than look at fundamentals, figures, growth, revenue etc. This company remains an absolute steal at the moment. this is not a stock that was stangnant into covid it was growing and will do so after. 2-3 year prediction here of £3 share price.
70pence haha. Honestly. It made profit for the year being closed 5 months. This is not your average business. Its a growing business. Expanding. Added revenue streams with more to come.
when I bought this share, I took account of further lockdowns. they have a strong balance sheet and can cope with a a month long shutdown. however the price will drop at open, will top up if they went to 70p
If this share went anywhere near 70p I would sell my house and spend every penny on shares. Fantastically run company and balance sheet. And growing opening puttstars and new sites. Has great deals with landlords while closed due to covid and is helped by the government with furlough. Unreal opportunity here.
See you soon
Liking this one, bargain basement prices today :) vaccine news imminent and strong balance sheet heading into 2021! GLA DYOR
Doubled my position and average is looking pretty tasty right now. Totally agree boohoo, this is so far under the radar. Wish I had more free cashflow to pump into this before word gets out and drives sp up!
After trading statement, I'm making this my largest holding and adding mon, cash positive Aug and sept, gives you an idea where this will be when business is back to normal, great company and a stock that's under the radar at the moment for most.
Going to add today.
Will keep adding at these lows :))
Asos weren't closed for 5 months of 12. The last 9 months has benefitted asos and hindered hollywood bowl. Will asos profit rise next year? Personally dont think so whereas hollywood bowl i do think would. Its a growth company. Going to add today.
Well ASOS reported 329% rise in profits yesterday and price went down 10%! Who knows what will happen here but good results I'd say and a "keeper".
Profitable !!! Despite being shut for 5 months. Personally feel 2021 will be really big for hollywood bowl. Really strong trading update.
I speak to people at a high level in their business!
They were worked buys I would say ;))
All yesterday. Who knows something we don't?
~250k shares (assuming the most recent one is a sell). Cause for concern? When will the results be out?
Where did you read that brownie?
Going on behind the scenes :))
Sounds like a good plan :))
They plan to install screens between each bowling lane for half term so they can open all lanes rather than the 50% they have been able to so far. This will significantly improve their current revenue ( unless more restrictions are put in place ).
Very quiet board. This company was growing into covid and will grow afterwards. Great BOD. Cash in hand and definitely one of the post covid stocks that will recover well.
