Looks like they flushed out some sellers in the 3's, but not many...will have to try the 4's next.
ping a ding time........ that's me stopping predictions! One step forward and two back, the book totally changed/ weird day.
mmmmm. book just changed. Volume still dire
ping a ding time soon............ 5p
Very heavy bid against a light ask.
ready to go.... watchers jump in before its tooooo late
And that's exactly what they want, they want people to sell hence the increased bid. (they did take out the ask yesterday due to no selling and same will happen today possibly if this is repeated)
The ridiculous 20% spread does not help. That can only stop people from buying.
Hi Gus, I can’t sleep with this hellacious heat so thought I’d check in.
Speaking of heat it’s interesting alright, I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next, as I’m sure many of our longs are as well. God knows we’ve waited long enough.
Next move from the BOD should be an update on the revised drilling plan with the reduced number of sub sea rigs at a cheaper CAPEX cost. That’ll get folks attention. And who knows, perhaps news of a finance package, or a farm in, or even a buy out.
That’s the most exciting part, we have a number of very real options on the table and any of them could happen tomorrow, or the next day etc.
ATB
I think what it shows Anth is there is no real desire to sell below 4p and probably 5p. The bidder has been patient, waiting and waiting but nothing happening, quite interesting to see the next move. Probably testing recent highs again, will get some LTH holders here then- not me tho , I am here for the journey and again have increased a bit to 1.48% here.
Hi Gus, well said regarding the SP activity range. I don’t see much happening until we hit at least 5p, and 6p+ for any significant movement of shares.
It was nice to see todays rise from the low 3’s so hopefully it’s not just a traders sp8ke and continues to rise.
Either way I’m holding fir far more than single figures so let’s see what happens.
They might have listened to you GusO
Thanks for the link PoC bought some Schlumberger yesterday, on the back of it.
Spot on.
There is no market here below 4p and probably 5p, that's clear to see. This needs to go back to its true trading range of 5-8p for any volume. Bidder needs to put his fishing rod away for sub 4p and get the nets out for 6-8p .
Utterly pointless currently, and news could land any day. It may finally hit home to them soon, there are no sellers down here.
Offshore drilling back with a bang.

Falky, what are you on about, I am more chilled than a freezer, just posting some chit chat
Just Relax...Pleaseeeeee
Our lazy bidder needs to get in the driving seat if they want stock, nobody wants to sell that's for sure. Heavy bid against a light ask should bode well- we will see
And converting all the marine diesel engines to LNG can only be good for suppliers, if only partially good for the planet. (legislation forced).
LNG has a bright future
The world’s economies will need an increasing supply of cleaner fuel in the decades ahead to help combat climate change. Due to its abundance and lower carbon emissions compared to other fossil fuels when burned, natural gas appears poised to provide a significant portion of that supply. LNG gives it the global access needed to reach key markets.
LNG demand and prices surged in 2021 as the global economy rebounded from its pandemic-driven lows. That has only accelerated in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which has pushed LNG prices to record highs. LNG stocks could do exceptionally well in the coming years as companies benefit from a global need for this vital fuel.
Errr we have half a billion barrels of this commodity. BOR could well be a multiple £ stock reasonably soon

Equinor Rosebank Oil Field Can Unlock £4.1 Billion UK Investment
Firm has submitted regulatory documents for Rosebank project
Field will produce 70,000 barrels a day at its peak in 2027

The Rosebank oil and gas project could lead to an investment of £4.1 billion ($5 billion) in the UK and create more than a thousand jobs if it goes ahead, according to Equinor ASA.
The Norwegian state-controlled company that is leading the development hasn’t taken the final investment decision, but sees a strong economic case for the field, according to its head of UK and Ireland Arne Gurtner.
Government projections show that “there will be substantially less production in the UK continental shelf than demand,” Gurtner said in an interview with Bloomberg on Friday. “In that sense, Rosebank is a valuable addition to bolster local supply.”
At the peak of its construction phase, Rosebank would employ over 1,600 workers, he said.
The future of Rosebank, and other untapped offshore oil fields, has been called into question since UK the government introduced an additional 25% tax on the industry’s profits in response to the cost of living crisis. The energy profits levy, as it is called, also includes an investment allowance that allows firms to recoup tax on new projects.
Equinor is assessing the impact of the EPL “very carefully,” as it would with any project around the world, Gurtner said. The new tax will be considered when the company nears the final investment decision next year, he said.
“Of course that will form a very, very important part of the economic investment,” Gurtner said.
The project, located west of the Shetland Islands, is not due to start pumping oil and gas until 2026. Daily production of 70,000 barrels of oil and 21 million cubic feet of gas, planned for 2027, would make it one of the largest fields in the UK.
The waters west of Shetland are less developed than the bulk of the North Sea, which has seen production shrink over the past two decades as resources dwindled and major players from the region diverted their spending elsewhere. New developments have also come under intense scrutiny, with the nearby Cambo project becoming a lightning rod for environmental protest.
Gurtner wouldn’t be drawn into whether there could be similar opposition to Rosebank, saying only that “we can control what we can control.”
Have some patience, some have been here many years !! Now we are getting near imho
Every time I look in here it has gotten worse. When will this stop going down?
BID
