Ah, I see MrB you're in at 18p and so have a current paper loss. Explains the negativity.
Yes it's for you.
Darwin opens up a new basin of LNG /LPG with billions of barrels on seismic identified. Lots of oil companies out there looking to replace production and reserves due to under investment. Governments are actively telling hem to go out and invest in gas projects. The green agenda is now on the back burner. They need a secure supply of LNG gas for the future. Darwin is about as green as you can get with a low carbon footprint due to dry gas re-injection back into the ground.
Is that for me POC?
How do you explain Navitas farming into the Sea Lion then?? Arguably Darwin is much more attractive. Low number of wells, high liquid content gas and condensate oil, exceptional reservoir quality, huge follow on prospects. Global supply needs new production. There is a huge supply crunch in the pipeline. Darwin fits in perfectly.
With good reason gus.
Mr Bond, what a load of dollocks cough cough....... You have always had as much positivity as the grim reaper
If it’s any consolation Alan there’s plenty of investors in at far more than 8p. It’s been pumped up on thin air and hype unfortunately. The buy in, by the man from Calgary, has got everyone excited, but sadly there is no change from 10 yrs ago when the bod started looking for a partner and very little time left before the license extension runs out. The bod banter record is stuck. They have no-one interested and no idea how to get anyone interested imo . I fear the find will remain under the sea.
He must be near 8%. I don't know who else has been sucking up the millions of shares the last few weeks. Any bit of buying sends the price up. When buys start going through there will be a fast rise in sp.
No real investor here is going to sell at this level or remotely near, Calgary will be looking for the big figures as do i.
Not sure the big boys actually average down, its all about stock acquired. I wonder what his plan is....... gone very quiet
Calgary was buying much higher. He must be at a loss now. Averaging down probably at this level. Want to see a holdings RNS. Can't be far away.
Alan- its only a mistake if you want to sell at 2.7p otherwise its an investment waiting to mature.
Calgary did most of his acquiring through the bid rather than the ask if I recall, wonder if he is benefiting from this drip on the bid right now. Shall find out soon perhaps.
I think buying in at 8p is looking like a really bad mistake. At the moment anyway as it has done nothing but go down :(
Just no buyers it seems (off the ask anyway). Strange really, given that we are at the end game for development finalisation and onward strategy after all these years. But that's AIM, a place for trading rather than investing which gives the patient one, like me more opportunity- happy days............ tick tock
A quote for just 100 shares is 3.21p
Looks like buys push the sp up quick.
If that iceberg got filled then we could get a holdings RNS.
I'm hoping buys start coming in now the selling pressure is off from the iceberg being filled and MM's will need to raise the bid if they want stock.
Yeah that baffled me. I thought it was due to them not having enough info on the Darwin reservoir and only later found out how productive it is. Now with $100 oil price , it makes it viable for investment with a shorter payback time, therefore likely to attract investment as an option. An oil price of $50 would take too long for payback if ever.
Nope I am not buying any more for now, I have too many as it is for one stock. If it drops to my silly zone, then I will oblige but I feel the board need to hurry the whole thing along quicker. My main frustration is why they didn't have the revised smaller option development plan in place years ago, when oil prices were low and the Russian/Ukraine war hadn't even started. I think it was a major error that they thought they could go with the full field multi well development with high CAPEX in a poor global oil environment and then decide to revise to a small development now when prices are so high.
This is the question I want to ask them.
Such wide margins on this stock. Offering low prices to sell and high prices to buy is not creating a market. Selling at this level crazy....buying in small amounts at 3.27p maybe a good call to reverse the down trend if you can..
Everyone puts their stake in the sand at different intervals. There were bidders on the book at 6p not so long ago and now look at the price......... the higher your bid, the more likely you get your stock. Calgary last million was bought at 5.5p, now you try and buy a million now at 3.45p which on the ASK, you won't get it and will need to pay around 4.3-4.5p. Same the other way, if you want to sell a million it will be around 2.4p now best you can get.
Maybe buy some Gus?
Thanks Gus. The thing I don't understand is that the order gets filled at 3p and then they have instantly lost money as the next bid is 2.71p. Why would a MM offer a lower price when they could have filled an order at 3p. Why did the iceberg order pay 3p if they will now lose money?
