Children hush hush, stop the bickering. Has any one done any recent TA or charting on boo? Please post any suggestions
At best PP is a failed wannabe messiah. To listen to him is like subscribing to an ad that’s claims “I made one million last week find out how”
Er yes we’re all really jealous your single eyed silver tinted investment strategy (that YOU keep telling US about) lost you £339,840 this year - really jealous
BuffBen, makes actually a good point while ribbing PP: If she cannot predict within any degree of accuracy where the SP will be in just 1 year, why would anyone assume , she has any better insight over the next 15? (remember she went on and on about a it being a 100 bagger.)
Perhaps PP, if you took the filters off you would see that it is not hate filled posts at all.
You jump to conclusions without even reading the content. Now that's just silly bordering on stupid., responding to what you are guessing people are saying.
You could (radical idea, so maybe you could lean from it as you are so keen never to stop learning as you don't know everything), unfilter and actually see whats being said?
Oh dear, looks like the hate team are out in force. I have loads of green filters on here.
Sad, that some people have the ability to hate so much.
Jealousy, envy, sure bring out the worst in human beings.
Cool it guys, life's too short, you'll give yourselves a heart attack venting such anger and frustration.
Slips, that's fine. But please define long term and also when or what would need to happen got your long term stock to become a sell?
This is the bit I struggle with the most: Boo at the time PP was saying do not sell, was embroiled in slave labour, tax evasion and a currently an ongoing litigation case in the US. What does it take for a decision to be made that its time to get out.?
PP1 “if” you have 360,000 shares then in 1 year your investing in just Boohoo has gone from 412.30 to 317.90 so you lost £339,840. I could have made you more than that in a kiddy savings account!
Well said Slipperz and thank you for saying it.
PP1
Haha can every assume you was wrong ramping this to be over £6 by now last year?
Gosh thousands of shares & thousands of funds making money for millions of people globally for their life & pensions but there’s only Boohoo as the best share & investing in others will get you badly burnt apparently - fund managers please note PP1 advise & ditch everything else immediately so she can make a few £ on the 360 shares she holds
Wrong! PP1 is the poster child for buying a stock once, and holding it long term. The keyword is "hold". She is encouraging others to hold. Mainly active when the headless chicken bunch are selling, and the price is low.
Not to be confused with a ramper. A ramper pretends to buy stock when is already high, trying to suck others in, so he/she exits with their money.
Reppyrr - for me, Boohoo is the best share to come good.
Recovery plays are exactly that, recovery plays, they may come good or you may get your fingers extremely badly burnt.
You make your choices and take the consequences.
Never assume you've made the right choices.
PP1 holding all others, I have confidence that they will all come good, but thank you so much for your advice.
Andy, Its not, I don't think Hate that PP invokes but her moralising on everyone she disagrees with. She is very spiteful in fact on people she does not agree with and her belief in Boo going forward, is only her opinion, nothing more and in fact it has no more validity than anybody else is. Her claim to fame that cannot be verified by the way,, is that she bought in at low with and has made a very good return overt last 6 years or so. Well, I'm not kidding but there are lots and lots and lots of companies in that timeframe that have done equally well at some stage in their quoted lives. Boo is hardly unique.
She sites long term buy and hold as a strategy which she continually states in Boo's case cannot fail, which is fine but its not full proof (by any means, just goggle Warren Buffet mistakes).
She will not engage with anybody questioning her opinion, she reverts as I am sure you must see, by deflecting points made disputing her view into personal attacks on the poster . And unfortunately for her position, the last year for Boo from an SP pov has been poor, and particularly poor when you see how the general market has performed.
There is no conspiracy to "get" Boo, investment houses live and die on making the right calls for themselves and their clients. They do not wallow in the sentiment and emotion that PP purports to espouse.
She comes across (to me) as a ramper that is deliberately trying to get people to buy the stock all the time. (A fruitless exercise which has the added merit of being pointless too, as no posts here move the SP a single iota.)
But that's my opinion fwiw, which is as I say, is as valid as hers.
The problem with the Boohoo share price is that it's only private investors buying. Unfortunately, they become anxious too easily and so sell with losses.
Reppyrr - maybe time for you to get out of Cine and all your other shares too!!!!
Relief is often only short term.
You feel a sense of relief when you finally let go of all holdings in Boo, time to move on and not have to worry on an hourly basis waiting for the next bad news story, maybe a slight exaggeration but so glad I'm am not holding anymore
GLA
BWNG as of today
BOO holders are missing out on all the great undervalued shares with real potential that will produce great returns. Why sit in this overvalued discredited company?
“The reason Boohoo shares haven't moved is because institutions aren't buying Boohoo because of the supply chain.”
Maybe they done their homework? Maybe the work in progress is not convincing.
PP1 - ignore the hate, I for one value your opinions/insights. lets face it, this board needs people like you. I, like you, plan to hold for the long term and hopefully retire from the proceeds in 10-15 years.
Lets not forget how motivated the board are to see the SP reach £6. rather large carrot i believe
OracleofOldham - take the jealousy and envy elsewhere.
You sold Boohoo and went into The Hut Group. Sounds to me you didn't do your research very well. You're chasing a profit and that's not the way to invest in shares. The way to invest in shares is to do your homework thoroughly so you know it's a share that will grow in price and you stick with it. Giving up on a share that is going through a bad time and will come good is also not the way to invest in shares.
Chasing profits is the way to lose money.
Your name fits you well, you think you know everything.
No-one knows everything, not you, not me.
Learn to be less spiteful and more respectful to others in life.
The reason Boohoo shares haven't moved is because institutions aren't buying Boohoo because of the supply chain.
Private investors aren't enough to push the Boohoo share price up. It needs the institutions buying back in again. I've already said this a number of times on here.
It will probably take to the global list of suppliers is published for the institutions to start buying back in again. This list is due to be published in September 2021.
By September 2021 more information will also be available on how Debenhams is doing.
I can’t grumble about this share as have been involved since early doors and 30p a share era. Have bought and sold numerous times and up over 100% at present. That being said, I am getting frustrated the way this share reacts to what seems like a reasonable profit.
Mind you, if I hold onto the shares for 20 years as PP1 recommends, I might make a lot more. Enthusiasm is fine if tempered by reality, maybe it’s time this company looked at giving a dividend to its shareholders instead of big rises to the bosses for meeting targets?
