Morning Chris, no I was genuinely just looking for some honest guidance. I have read some of the other posts and have no interest in juvenile banter. I had rather hoped this platform would be a great way of sharing tips, educating and for people like me learning. Best M
Well said PP1. I can just see facts there. More than double your money in 3 years max for the 150m management incentives to kick in (will be a lot sooner). The BoD will do what they need to do to get their mitts on that cash. Win win situation.
Reads alright to me.
More repeats of people's penetrating 'research'. What a bull****ter.
Boohoo have 9 brands, Boohoo, BoohooMan, Prettylittlething, Nasty Gal, Miss Pap, Karen Millen, Coast, Oasis, Warehouse. Their last revenue for year ending 29 February 2020 was £1.2bn.
The global fashion market is worth £2,000bn with UK at £71bn, USA £330bn, Europe £350bn and rest of world £1,250bn. Plenty more for Boohoo to grab.
Boohoo are brilliant at buying brands in UK and USA cheap out of administration and making them profitable within less than 2 years.
Boohoo are the best at using social media and influencers. Boohoo are seen more as a tech company because they're so savvy at what they do. The management team have the best experience, knowledge and skills you could want to run a company like Boohoo.
Boohoo have no debt and £350m net cash.
The Leicester factories scandal at online fashion giant Boohoo is likely to take as little as 5% off its sales, according to detailed social media analysis which found influencers flocking back to promote the brand in recent weeks.
Key to Boohoo's success has been its sophisticated use of Instagram and YouTube stars close to the hearts of its teenage customers. Its digital marketing through social media generally has set it apart from rivals, so search data from Google and other engines can give an accurate picture of trading patterns.
Analysts at brokerage Sandford C Bernstein showed how Boohoo had brought vital influencers back on board after the scandal first broke, citing management's "behind-the-scenes" work to "retain and reassure" the social media stars who plug its products.
Bernstein tracked social media followership of Boohoo's brands and found that, after a small dip after news stories last month alleged poor working practices at a Leicester supplier, the trend has now reversed for Boohoo, PrettyLittleThing and Nasty Gal.
On TikTok, followership continues rising with a particularly big spike for NastyGal in the past week.
Next week dosent bother me so much, 8% growth again would be nice. People are going to take profits and invest all the way to September, it will go up and then it will go down and then it will consolidate plenty of times before then.
Thanks, let’s hope next week continues on the same trajectory, slow but steady....
To add my 2 pence then.
Depends on why it is dropping. If for no logical reason and the business is still sound, then you should start averaging down and topping up, as you will make a lot more money come the RNS in September.
If the kamani family are found to be diddling the books or something more horrific, get your money out as fast as possible while you still can.
Hi, no, new in today, just after old fashioned advice....
Micky1971 you wouldn't happen to have had an account with poo at the start of the name that got suspended today by any chance?
Hi Chris England, you seem one if the more informed and sane contributors. I am a newbie at stocks but like to think learning reasonably fast. I’m in at an average of £2.55, of the share started to retract what would be the best price to jump ship. Hopefully it will keep on tagging up slowly but need a back up plan, any advice much appreciated....
Beat me to it wyndrum
Usual morons....
If hits 275 then just rubber stamps the look at me I'm a genius. They aint a clue if will or won't.
exactly Max: by all means say what you think, but explain why ,otherwise its a pointless post. Read it back again and then try and figure what anybody is meant to take out from reading that. Why is it going to fall 275p on Monday? Based on what?
Typo error you meant 375 I bet
Might take a dip see 300p as more likely
Monday will drop to 275
