There was a point Andy (the compliance guy) made a comment a while ago that they can work out if a factory is making a fair margin based on the rate of production. They know what they are paying for the order so if they know the rate of production and input costs they can get to the fair margin
This will have been done for these factories so this will be the owners skirting the agreed rules
In a company you can try all you want to stop fraud but if the do-er and check-er collude then not much you can do
Dnt believe everything you see in the news. Her comments are thought through and planned . She specifically attempted to plant the seed that the warehouse owners cannot afford to pay high wages so people will think boohoo are not paying them enough .
Marshall Wace is behind stunt I know someone that knows her family in Leicester. She borrowed money from lots old Asian women and not paid them back. Boohoo account will confirm they are paying the warehouse the correct wages a strong statement from boohoo will surface tomorrow.
Kallumama You do realise by accusing members here of gambling you are liable right? Have your opinions but don’t get personal as it’s ugly. Yes have a positive it negative view on a share as we are all entitled to but as soon as you accuse people you are liable
I will buy more more if this falls tomorrow won’t last long . I’m not selling happy to hold until favourable position . Keep calm and stay steady no panic , this will come good Dnt let them profit from your loss . Hold if you can . It’s a game of wits . Will be old new by next week .
I know this lady she is corrupt and has done this before. Y is there only one worker exploited hardly profitable for a factory they would do it to all the workforce for them to benefit from this .
Launch a investigation into this . Check the lady history out I Dnt want to mention her name but she is know for this .
This is a load of rubbish but it may cause the share to plummet tomorrow. This lady is being paid by Marshall Wace and is working with news reporters.
They’ll remove this factory tomorrow then. Poor women, this is just plain criminal behaviour from the factory owner. Boohoo can’t be held accountable AS LONG as they drop the factory immediately. You can and will find these stories with lots of big clothing companies if you look for it. The important thing is how they react IMHO DYOR
Employing Lord Levison is a lot more effective in combating these wage abuses, than making glitzy videos to impress your shareholders
Just in case you didn't know or have forgotten
LONDON, Nov 26 - British online fashion retailer
Boohoo BOOH.L has appointed retired judge Brian Leveson to
independently check its drive to improve its supply chain and
business practices, it said on Thursday.
As far as I know he hasn't been sacked yet
I don’t believe a word of it !!! She’s given a slip of paper telling her how much she has to withdraw and pay back ! ABSOLUTE BULL _ _ _ _ !!!

Popped this on my watch list for tomorrow.
