Could go on and on. Kallumama are you all there honest question?
You are so out of touch Kallumama your agenda is obvious. A quick look at any online retailer growth over the past years will show. Death of the high street. You are flogging a dog in Primark no wonder lyttle jumped ship to come boohoo.
Kallumama did you see the director buys over the last year. Click boo live rns and you can scroll down and see them....
For me to go westfield it is either a dirty tube journey of 20mins at x cost each way then trapsing round shops taking up my time. Or a stressful 35min drive and £10 parking charge again taking time up.....Or i order online at home buy the sizes i want, try on what i want, drop off at post office or get it collected for return.....this is the world we live in now....
Kallumama - case in point...who goes to the shop anymore for clothing....generation z don't have the time, they do it on their phone, instagram, tik tok....generation z like fashion....primark is basic and certainly not "cool"
The larger issue is a lot of "investors" or "commentators" here or in twitter are not the generation Z or 18-30 so they read an article about shein and think oh wow new kids on the block bla bla bla. You should see the amount of pink plt bags actually delivered. This is where generation z is shopping still.

And if you look at Shien valuation then Boohoo is undervalued
Shein have been in business for years, the reason why they are getting mentioned of late is there are due to list IPO, massive misconception that they are new, they were established in 2008 and evolved in 2015.....
Ha ha yes the city boys have played this game a few times but n the last 18 months & it has been very profitable to follow the pattern of push it down with a load of bad press, buy, rise on the anticipated results, sell before results, great results, sell off, shorters back in & repeat
Pretty obvious the fun and games with boohoo has been short attack from city, tipping off sky news then drop price, shorts close out city buys up it goes again. Never seen that before with Boohoo.....Or am i being to much of a conspiracy theorist, especially with the influx of trolls and "sell" "sell" "sell"
Got sone at 249 & have another order in for 250 if it drops back but I don’t think it will stay here too long however the only variable is it’s Friday, the Guardian doing a story? And weekend press but 250s is a good buy point (I shouldn’t say that as I’m hoping to get more lol)
But Primark is only a subsiduary in ABF
Agreed. I remember when primark went through a long period of scandal. It soon quietened down and the share price didn’t suffer. I’m sure if they’d kept growing revenue the the SP would have continued to climb, but for some reason they chose to limit themselves to bricks and mortar!?
As for Shein, I think there will always be some new brand trying to disrupt the market. But being China based, I’m sure they will likely face more barriers and scandal along the way. Boo has great branding and a loyal customer base that I feel will carry them forward.
The question is, does this new story change anything for the company long term? Okay, the problems persist but it's not BOO this time clearly an issue with the supplier. Can they be banned from trading in the US due to this? Probably not. Will people stop shopping on Boohoo due to this, again probably not. If the earnings keep growing, who cares about the bad press?!
The real concern for me is Shein. They have terrible reviews though, so probably the quality is bad. Not sure about delivery times as well. I think they ship a lot of stuff from China so you might have to wait a long time which is not really the idea with fast fashion. I've just put a random summer t-shirt in the bag on their app and attempted checkout - it will arrive on 14th of August. Summer's almost over by then. Actually looking through the window it's probably over already, rubbish weather really, but that's a different topic.
I can see the media going absolutely bonkers if they start buybacks right now so probably won't happen. Next year though, who knows? Won't be surprised if someone attempts a takeover as well. This is stupid cheap.
Let’s be clear, today we are buying shares at June 2017 prices! How much has the company achieved since then? How much has the EPS grown?
I’m back in with 30k shares as I’ve long had an alert set at 250p. This share requires no more than patience in my view. Short term an easy 30%. But if you lock away the key for a few years and block out the noise, I think this is probably a 4x bagger.
