Google showing asos share price 23p
Wat happend to asos?
Also Mw have an average entry of 260p..... Not 360.....
Bruce the short tracker doesn't track short positions under 0.5 percent so there will be a lot more shorts in the market than what you see on short tracker......
Credit to WM shorting from £3.60.......but it has to be suicidal, in my view, to increase shorts now.....price, in my opinion, is well below reasonable for a company that is growing exponentially with millions of loyal customers, huge potential, on-line trending, loss of high street competition, and billions in WW sales!!
They have to be closed at some point so eventually the price will rise very quickly!!
The icon above Short Position shows the total shorts as 3.33%. Assuming most is stock borrowing should not be a false low nor high. But some may be cfd who knows. Hope the shorters get their fingers burned.
Knobodyyouknow.... I'm not in the slightest bit concerned by the little increase in shorts, in fact im excited by it as i have been here so many times with boohoo....
I believe the total short positions on boohoo are probably in excess of 8 percent anyway - they have a habit of causing a "false low" with the share price due to excess shares for sale in the market.... They will have to buy back and we will then end up with a "false high" so to speak...
I've seen here and I've seen it on ocado and many others....
Let's say the below to some % is true.
Quote
"The the addressable poor market will only grow for Primark, pandemic was the only extra ordinary time when consumers chose Boohoo over Primark as that was the only option. Primark will be getting the customers back"
So BH brand aside that still leaves 57 and counting other Brands across the group offer of which 6 are own buy on Mens and 12 are own buy on Woman's plus Kids and this is just clothing.
Room for both Primark and BH Group.
The increased short positions shouldn’t be dismissed easily. It does raise concern re near-term expectations. Long-term who knows.
Not pouring anymore money in here until there’s a bit more clarity in Jan.
DYOR
Can picture the image now ….BOO HOO tattooed on front of T Shirt with “ Made in Leicester” on the back…..quite the wholesome look. Must contact their PR Dept !
Knew from the market movements yesterday there were shorts at play. Two increases from yesterday reported. That's shorts at their highest in a while.
Kall, won't we all be wearing jump suits and live on the moon in 20 years time?
(Its a pretty depressing picture that the only store in the future that remains open is a Primark....)
I actually like to tell people my jumpers and other items are from primark or cheaper. It keeps the hangers on away, the hypergamy chasers
Bought a few more at £1.70... cheap
It’s like VW and Skoda. Both ok but you’d rather have the VW on your drive.
And no matter how YOU perceive Primark(because you’re invested), it’ll never shake off its image as the place poor people shop.
So who wants a Primark jumper and who wants a Debenhams(or any other of our brands) jumper?
Kallu did your mrs get fed up with you spending all your time in the BOO stock forum? Maybe if you spent more of your time taking her out for nice meals, she would still be here
Kallu- I didnt realise your mrs left you. Really sorry for your loss.
You really just don't get it do you Kallumoron?
Anyone, when asked where their jumper is from is not going to want to say Primark because that's where people like you shop (which is why your missus left you).
BOO has been dragged down by ASOS recently but when the RNS comes out the SP will soar. Easy 30%.
