"yes, one of many possible reasons, but it wasn't a suggestion that they should buy. They may not be buying for any number of reasons - they may not be able to buy, they may not want to, they may not have the cash available, they may not be paying the SP much attention (this is my bet). As I've said before director buys, T-Rowe - MW - it's all just noise. At the end of the day, you either believe in the company or you do not. I'm in the former camp at the moment despite nursing heavy paper loses ."
Exactly that.... Soon enough people will realise just what that last 2 years have been about.... These acquisitions are huge.
* "That they haven't may of course suggest that they know that the interim trading statement and/or March results will be just as bad if not worse." you are literally insinuating a reason why they haven't bought. *

Knowbodyyouknow you stated - "That they haven't may of course suggest that they know that the interim trading statement and/or March results will be just as bad if not worse." you are literally insinuating a reason why they haven't bought.
To which my response is - Do you know the cfo sold nearly all of his holding at 210p then watched the sp rise to over 400p? My point being if the man in charge of the number sells up most investors wouod say that's a bad sign yet the sp then wwnt onto over 400p.....
Overall point being directors buys or sells mean absolutely nothing.
In fact Mahmud and Carol have both sold shares in the 200s then watched the sp rise to over 400.
As I asked - do you think the directors sit there thinking "i a can't believe these idiots are selling under 200p"....I expect they do.
Actually I do care and I believe anybody who was interested in this stock at 360p and listened to me has managed to save a packet, but on the other hand if they listened to the Ramping they lost a fortune. It should be you that is totally ashamed of his conduct,Ramping,Repeat ramping and trying to bully people from posting.Absolutely ashamed!
@Southcoastblather
Bit of an odd post that.
Perhaps read mine again and you'll note:
1. I'm not a particular advocate of director buys
2. No where do I suggest that the lack of director buys is responsible for 'what is going on'
3. No where do I say that the directors should buy, just that now might be a time to do it if they were going to.
It's called debate - it's a forum - that's what is supposed to happen here.
No one is sodding off on your say so.
Knowbodyyouknow - do you know how silly it is judging what's going on by a director buying or selling??
Do you know the cfo sold nearly all of his holding at 210p then watched the sp rise to over 400p?
Did Mahmud sell his entire holding at 400p? No
Do you ever flip it on it's head and look from the Directors point of view?
You are sat there saying why aren't the directors buying and the directors are probably sat there saying why are these fools selling.
If people can't see the potential growth then don't buy - sod off somewhere else and stop posting.
As for pedro his sole aim is to scare the weak holders that frequent this board - he does not give a flying F if people lose money.
Seems to be much lower of late; perhaps the selling will slow, once PIs move on. We might also assume that some IIs have been shifting money out of here, if they believe it will be around these levels for sometime.
As much as I'm not an advocate for director buys, I do wonder whether now or around now might be the time for the BOD to act. That they haven't may of course suggest that they know that the interim trading statement and/or March results will be just as bad if not worse.
