Ok Pookoo, trust me i use more than butty van talk and a seeweed guy for my investment plans. I look on here for posted articles i may have missed and i don't mind different opinions from share holders, not shorters. I started buying just after IPO and have bought up to 2.44, sold a few to buy a house but im holding the majority for the ride. I sold Next at £18 and watched them go to £75.
No, which is why ShadowFall and the other Hedge Funds are going to decimate this!
Bought at a bargain.... circa x200 (33% in 2020 over £300mill 66% in 2017 £3mill) more than was paid in 2017 also considering PLT has been ran and financed by boohoo in that time. Do people honestly believe that is a bargain? It’s a great deal for Umar no question about that. On a serious note does anyone on this board think that is a good deal for shareholders?
So why do you not discuss other shsres
Overpriced bargain!
PLT is now wholly owned by Boohoo bought at a bargain price
Exactly! Hence why they have been using this for paying out Dividends!
At that time PLT was not a UK quoted company
Shadowfall also said that PrettyLittleThing’s operating costs appeared low because it was underpaying its parent company for things such as customer support. It also rents office space from another company controlled by the Kamani family.
It has been inflating the Value attributable to PLT by no charging the going rate for Overheads, we just got stung for the bill!
It has been using PLT to do this!

PrettyLittleThing declared a £10m dividend in May last year, of which Mr Kamani will receive about £3.4m.
Shadowfall also said that PrettyLittleThing’s operating costs appeared low because it was underpaying its parent company for things such as customer support. It also rents office space from another company controlled by the Kamani family.
A public company cannot pay dividends to the owning family and not other shareholders.
100% of PLT for £5m was the deal when i started buying these shares, how they got away with 66% for £3.3m and now this, i still feel a little cheated but the sp speakes for its self.
Pookoo i was aiming at the newly joined derampers but if you feel the cap fits thats fine. This board helped me along in the early days with Jambon and co. So i still look on here out of habit. When i decide to sell it will be by my own timing, i won't be shaken out.
I think you will find we have just dropped £329m into the Sons back pocket!
I'm not saying Shareholders haven't done well from an increase in the SP, but this hasn't provided £1 of Dividends for Shareholders outside of the 'Family'!
I do hope so in Musk we trust! Hopefully we will be able to drive a Tesla to the moon soon.
How have investors been fleeced when the sp has over 5 years gone from 25p to nearly £4. Can we have a whip round for an abacus for you.
ShadowFall, I agree with you, a family of crooks, but very successful ones! Managed to fleece Investors for years to the tune of hundreds of millions!
Agree with the board comment some good professional with a track record on there. If it was just the family on the board this would have gone tits along time ago they are crooks.
I really like the look of Tesla wish I had bought way back, I am waiting on a market correction then will buy in hopefully, there may not be another correction however I believe at some point the reality of the real world will meet the markets!
I agree that fashion is a fickle business just looking at Ted Baker and Superdry share price. The PLT issuse has bugged me from the begining if this was just Kamanis on the BOD then I'd have been long gone but there are some credible people involved here with growth opportunities to be had particularly in the US, also you never know a large predator might just come calling. So for me I'm holding.
What would be of interest to me considering we sit on different sides of the the fence- cash in the bank aside where is the value in boohoo if it doesn’t grow as per previous years or dare I say if it market audience (teenagers and younger people) decide it’s not the in thing anymore, because we all know the same brands stay in trend for ever. Interested to hear your opinion as it’s different to mine.
Yes the wrong reasons. Never mind two side to every story our opinion clearly differ good luck with your boo shares.
The wrong reasons? One notorious hedge fund that is looking like its in for a massive loss if it can't dig up some more rubbish?
At £1 £2 £3 boo wasn’t in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons... I agree lots of people missed the up side on this fortunately I didn’t miss it. There is a lot less upside now than there was in the past put the cash in the back aside where is the value in this stock? If we assume for one minute it won’t grow at the rate it has done in the last 5 years.
How many times have long term investors on here been told this share has peaked? What is the agenda of you sad people? If you missed the boat at £1 £2 and £3 then don't miss it at £4!
