Yes, aware of presidential election next year March.
(Thought you were entering that race,,lol)
The parliament election always deliver a coalition. But that is a separate election a few years away.
My hope is that the new president will be more in tune with the existing coalition gov. But as you say, by March all licences would have been nominated by December this year.
My other hope, is with this latest review of vertical integration will follow the same path as the previous, but this time firmly rejected. The review needs to conclude before winning bids announced. IMHO
But any news that allows Chudditch to be monetized, sold,jv etc will supercharge our MCAP.
Yes beast, next week could contain some further news, as we march on towards the end of this year!!
Shouston m8 the link only states the elections will take place and international
observers will be present to report on all tickety boo
as said the bid round completed , awards made , paid for and then ratified by Gov
should all be done proir to March to make sure the old guard if they get the edge
and a coalition will be hard pressed to turn the clock back
The current crew have improved bottom line to operators as it was not just the
you can't take it anywhere but the Island (no facilities) that wrangled with the
big industry players , Island not only wanted a more expensive production path
and the long wait 20 years so far to get it but the Islands previous crew also
wanted free rides , roayalties and tax rates that would not make it worth their
while to develop unless prices stayed at the upside of the curve permanently
and as we all know that never happens few years ago oil $160+ then crashed
to $12 and is again on the rise having jumped from $39 to $70 during this year
likewise Gas prices roaring again
So if ever a time for them to get a grip and get on with it THAT IS NOW !
:))
https://www.timorgap.com/databases/website.nsf/vwAll/Highway
Local press Suai is already being built and developed it is the staging area supply base
for the Industry for Bettano (Oil refinery) and the again proposed Beaco (Gas/LNG Exports)
facilities under the Tasi Mane project
The highway an integral part of that plan, other recent press had think it was awarded to
a French outfit but then sub contracted to a large Chinese company last reported a major
road was nearing completion but the contract had another 25 roads planned to be built
The old airport is being refurbished and extended (original plan last time new airport)
so looks like all the infrastructure IS going to be in place and all that is now required this
time is to find someone to fund/build and operate the to be built Beaco planned multi
string Gas/LNG Export facilities
The original plan included an additional Gas/LNG Import facility to supply the conversion
of the on Islands 3 power stations to Gas and that set of studies commenced earlier this
year separate from the though to be shelved exports and pipeline from Sunrise
Lots of tenders and contracts already in play , the economics of the new Beaco Tasi Mane
export and pipelines studies should be very attractive compared to the rejected attempts
of the past pretty confident they will get a funder this time and Chuditch and any new
award we get in the bid round will have some serious value placed on them
Anything is better than the many years of all gas except Bayu valued at ZILCH
:))
Sounds exciting HFB!
I cannot view the website.... seems to be overrun with Shell investors trying to view the same page. (ramptastic...)
Will try later to view what is said.
just been on the copl board saw your post beefy
sadly the market rarely responds to its in the papers magazines video's etc etc
It responds to Regulatory News Announcements RNA messages sent over be it Londons
rns maket news wire , or the several UK others that originate them
If it's in an rns, it's expected to be real, verified and approved by Nomad and if turns out
to be otherwise if on the Main Market someone will be called into the principles office
fine , warning of future conduct , or another offence may be suspended from the market
On Aim however they turn a blind eye to all , porkies , blatant an expired named date
exceeded , if you put in an rns we expect dah di dah by end q1 or date xx march if
reached a MANDATORY rns is expected positive or negative , if not why not, is it still
in progress, dumped etc
Had one a couple of years ago ceo made 3 eye opening statements to be done by end
January fist update was May on two of them and the 3rd never saw the light of day
So being AIM can flannel and flower all roses in the garden , so to now have strong
news with our name on it from the Island and say nothing beggars belief
l8tr's
Thanks HFB, appreciate all the info you share. This is beginning to bubble, getting quite exciting. Long way to go obvs and still high risk atm, so don’t want to get too carried away. But hard not to imagine where the SP could end up if all goes to plan!
I’ll provisionally book the Savoy for everyone for the after party ;)
Sounds very promising HFB
Let's hope so and at the very least an update on the boil website if not an rns preferably both!!!!!!
Incredible where the sp will end up when they eventually announce something and I have no idea how high it could go.

Shouston thin we will have lift off
The next election confirmed as March 2022, the current crew in power have now put a plan in
place (moving one way or another) during time in office they have moved the goalposts to
give better terms and taxation to the sector , they will want as it is scheduled the bid round
awards and terms satisfied etc all sorted per current law decree's ahead of the election
The politics is finely balanced with neither the old independence leaders or the more
we do actually need the world outside progressives likely to have other than a slim
and coalition government in control if the current leaders lose it will be difficult for
the old guard to spoil the party with the old figures which basically where we want
the biggest piece of the pie but also cream and a cherry on top with royalties and
higher tax rates
Once the licenses including our change, JV or sale are all issued with the new terms
and conditions, they would be hard pressed to overturn as many in his own party saw
the old leaders demands as stifling the Islands progress (which it did big time)
Think many of his own would view current arrangements as do not mess with something
in motion that can finance the Island for decades than support the hardliners that could
start another impasse between Island and Operators on borderline financial viability
Said for a long time they will make a move before the bid round closes, they have and not
my 1st option but it signals a change and movement of the Gas industry in Timor waters
expecting things to gather pace this next few weeks
as said ideal we get a windfall payoff for Chuditch and get awarded Area P in the bid round
:))
enjoy the rest of the weekend catch ya tomorrow, fingers crossed some PR to the market
that we are no longer stranded , we are part and named in the Islands plans for Beaco
11 years since Chudich in anyone's plans (Mitra 2010 flng oz license days)
BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MONDAY ?
lol and I wish
It looks like Kelp is going to Boil...!
https://www.livestrong.com/article/548716-how-to-cook-dried-kelp/
Everybody... keep the faith and stay safe
I'm off for a few smarties
China BRI active on the Island already and they operate in around 40-50 countries
across Asia and Africa with an annual trillion dollar budget
Fancy they will want Beaco this time and the Aussies will out bid them to prevent it
game on , 20 year impasse over , value returning soon
::))
The price of gas not an issue at this point, if they are going to build Beaco its
probably another 5 years to production if built
The first step for us is to get recognition for the growing reserves base in place
Baron still way behind Shells 90's figures
With someone knocking on the door with a good/great deal
Reward now riches down the road , or take out and a mega multi bagger early
either way the area now in motion and gas should have value return from $0
allocated to the previously stranded fields
:))
Could be very rubbery indeed!!!!!!
There's a lot of information flowing through the news wires and it's not all hot air, the situation with the gas price and scrabble for supply's will take effect for a very long time. UK and USA are supporting Australia with the development of its nuclear powered submarines fleet, which they will use to protect their waters. Chuditch is in that vicinity, just to put another ingredient into the stew we also have a Chinese company operating in the area.
The future is going to be incredibly awarding
been 11 years since Chuditch has been a part of anyone's plans back when it was
also looking to be offloaded to another company who had plans to FLNG it died
as the license also became an impasse on the border of the disputed area JPDA
days and was an AUSTRALIAN license , came back to life with the out of the blue
award to SundaGas in Nov 2019
https://www.ogj.com/pipelines-transportation/lng/article/17284914/flex-lng-discusses-floating-lng-project
article from 2010
The permit contains the one-well Chuditch gas discovery made by Royal Dutch Shell PLC in 1998
Minza acquired 800 km of 2D seismic data over the permit in 2009 and expects to drill one exploration
well in the near future
yes but that does not stop them from telling the market we just went from
tcf of stranded worthless gas to it now has value and a place in the Islands
plans
A simple we note the Timor Leste Governments announcement.....................
take's about 5 minutes to put that in an rns , 2 hours to get it approved by
the nomad and instant release of that rna message over rns news wire
:))
Gas price has made front news headlines globally concerning cost hike and short supply, the ground below us is a gold mine.
The PR Team won't be looking for a JV, they'll be picking the best
