Fingers crossed , toes and bring on the contortionists, the time frame
for Dunrobin , which they have control over , makes that June deadline.
Chuditch , remains as it's been since day 1, real impact is only in what the
Island says, not Baron (Shell and other giants , said we are going to-----
only for the Island to say NO your not)
The seismic , must come to give us a lift at some point, they must have run out
of excuses to keep extending the we will have its (early 2020 was the first one)
sometime , soon , next year, oh we will look at it and analyse shortly............
As said many times , Woodside did the entire license 3,200 sq km 3D next door
processed in a few hours of a single day , then looked at it...........
IF and when it does arrive , suspect a better RNA message to follow shortly, with
something already happening in the background................GLA
;))
Well, June has nearly arrived and Chuditch news flow could be in days. Lets see what Baron can pull of, this has been years in the making. Atb
Hfb, a million quid would be a lot niicer than £10,000! Haha.
What's it all about Boily........

Whole area has its own weekly seismic , earthquakes very common
epicentre usually around 150-200km at least to the North East of TL
Not a problem , as we sit between Sunrise and Bayu and neither have ever
reported it causing them any problems.
One of the challenges listed for the Islands plan , pipeline crossing the vibrating Trench
the previous studies and survey's have all come back positive , challenging but can be
done at a cost , estimated 3 times the cost of , Shells earlier 2001 plan.
Pipe heading South from Sunrise to intercept the Bayu-Darwin line.
:))
as said would not get to hung up on the snail paced seismic, its a re run
of old data not new , spoiler alert , Chuditch on the original but depth
perception and ghosting , due to the Timor Trench vibrations.
That survey 2012/13 , previous multiple 2d , including Shells own mapping and
seismic of the entire license , not just part as current re run is.
All showed Chuditch present and correct but left doubts as to if all in the CH-1
discovery well area , a single field, Shell said in the 90's , they think it probably
is in which case their 5 TCF estimate , would more than double 10 TCF+, with
as said more on the other side of the license, hence the comments , they thought
on further development , Chuditch bigger than Greater Sunrise.
In addition as part of the bid round support TGS in 2020 did the entire 50,000 sq km
all on and offshore in 2d cubed which presents like 3d, included the entire Kyranis
7,000 sq km 3d within it, said on its website , data available long ago, on request or
via the ANPM/Zebra (uk company) data room set up for bidders.
The world and it's mother has known its a monster since the 90's far bigger than Barons
only reporting on one side of the license and likewise snail paced catching up and
comments now matching what Shell said all those years ago , CH-1 area could be 10+
The psDm rerun is expected to clear up some of the ghosting and depth perception data
once and for all , but as said those keen , could have got the data themselves long ago
and done it in a day for themselves..............GLA
:))
Hmm there in the neighborhood certainly perhaps it'll be ENI then! Let's see what kind of interest we get post 3D, should be a decent period ahead now. Into June we go.
"Eni was the sole bidder for offshore Block P, which is between the southern border of the Greater Sunrise fields and the northern border of the CHUDITCH permit."
P
Think you will make at least your name , ONE DAY ........
OR Could it change to MillionairePenny..........sleep well on that one
:))
manyana bananas
Santos , ENI and a Korean state , have Bayu and its ready made pipeline to Darwin
they also share Barossa a controversy ridden Gas play , in OZ waters to the East
of us, court battle in Korea and many an objection in OZ (testing around 50%
carbon) , it is planned to go via the to be CC facility at Bayu and on to Darwin
ENI had some oil plays in TL waters (Depleted) but have been stout supporters
since the UN peace keeping force arrived (also mostly Italian) , they still provide
financial support for many on Island social programs.
ENI took block P , which I had hoped we would be in for , RNA message we are in
the bid round , then at the death , RNA message changed our minds and did not
make a firm bid in the end. (think that tells a story)
Block P , has long been thought to be the host of the hydrocarbon kitchen that
feeds that area, including Sunrise and Chuditch , so a nice move by them , if it
ever opens up.
as said a few weeks ago , still a few twists and turns , before the dust settles..........GLA
:))
The crappest bid round in History
twice extended over 2 1/2 years and next to no bids
same period Nigeria 1,600+ bids for 57 marginal licenses, says it all
Industry still staying away , until the Island builds or wakes up and smells
the cash budget shortfall and gives them some assurances, it won't be like
last time.
:))
Bidders named: Timor-Leste reveals companies vying for exploration blocks
Seven companies made offers for six of the 18 blocks on offer
6 March 2022 23:09 GMT UPDATED 8 March 2022 4:51 GMT
By Russell Searancke
Italian energy major Eni and Australia’s Santos are the most recognisable of the bidders for acreage in Timor-Leste’s second licensing round of oil and gas exploration permits.
In a brief statement, Timor-Leste regulator ANPM said there were seven companies that bid for nine blocks.
But in fact, seven companies made a combined nine bids for six blocks.
Eni was the sole bidder for offshore Block P, which is between the southern border of the Greater Sunrise fields and the northern border of the Chuditch permit.

Let the good times roll...
Have a great weekend all .
Price targets of a Friday evening?
We find out shortly...
" in June...we look forward to updating the market on the results of the final 3D pre-stack depth migration data thereafter. From there, we will re-double our efforts on the farmout process. We are fortunate to be bringing Chuditch forward at a time when, after two years of COVID induced inactivity, we believe the farmout market is accelerating, supported by issues of energy security, structural imbalances in LNG and historically high prices for gas."
I'm backing them to pull it off. Energy security, elevated gas prices, Russia Ukraine, supply demand dynamics. Its the perfect storm. Lets see it will go stratospheric if they get a super major onboard!
Atb
There doesn’t seem to be a lot of positivity on here Hfb . That’s not good :((
mimic - that's the crux
somewhere - anywhere
it's all we need, to get value for our gas.
:))
Same chance we had in Nov 2019 Percy 50/50
The Island can still say YES/NO but now they are also running out of time
to get it done , before the fund that props up the Island is also DEPLETED.
NOW probably 60/40 , if the BRI say yes this time 100% (rejected before)
if they do , the Quod will join in to try and prevent China getting a potential Naval Base
out of it
all we need, even if its Beaco ,is a home for our GAS and we go booooooooooooooooom
Then after all this faffing around , a JV consortium buys us out for hundreds of millions
or even a billion , Baron buys into half of the North Sea and becomes BP mark 2 ....lol
if only Carlsberg did our deals....................
:))
Why you still here then. Groverlad ?
Just added 2mill hope this is as good as stated on here lol. Have a good weekend all. Gla.
It will go the same way as the Z34 block of the coast of Peru
What’s the chances of it happening do you think ?
Let's hope the meeting force some one to sit up and take not and put up what's needed to progress these fields into production.
Now is the time to say YES you can Take it out the ground and send it some where anywhere .
The island can't afford to wait many more years before the Petroleum Fund starts to seriously whittle away.
Green light and boooom we are Minted.
As posted not even a luke warm interest to the bid round in a area where
all is massively gas charged, hence no JV yet for us either
The day ANY PERMITTED monetisation path identified , I would expect ,not just a knock on the door
but a full scale bloody stampede , taking the doors off...............GLA
:))))))))))
Sunrise Woodside books $0.00 , valued at conference $65 BILLION++
Shell original operator of both,,,,,,,Chuditch probably BIGGER
Now look at our Market Cap , down in the flooded basement using an Aqua-Lung
not a 10 bagger---------A MEGA BAGGER in waiting................GLA
:))
That's what the island expected in the bid round lots of interest and a return
of the Majors and Tier1's who departed after decades of frustration.
9 bids in 2 1/2 years for a prolific seaway , Sunrise discovered 1974 , still waits
Daylight..........
The Indonesian and OZ sides of the boundaries , host more discoveries of oil and gas
many HUGE, than you could spend the day counting.
Knowns in the TL maritime area KEPL 14.5 tcf , Sunrise 8 tcf and our own Chuditch according
to Shell bigger than Sunrise, all still await , the return of the big boys
Sunrise has been on care and maint , since 2004 but they had already spent over $400 Million
in development costs, so not just little minnows required, the Island want DEEP POCKETS to
return and develop FFD at speed , not a well now , another whenever
Sunrise was set for FLNG (Shell plan declined 2008) with 26/28 wellheads
They even made a statement , late last year, the do not want more of us , ADV and
carnarthen's , they want those that can make it happen quickly to return.
Only they can make either happen, put up (beaco) or shut up and let the OPTIONS
flow as well as the gas and oil.............GLA
:))
Quite right HFB, once the 3D is released i'd expect them to make good on farming this out as alluded to in the RNS. No more endless studies, NatGas supply demand dynamics couldn't be better for them. They need to sieze the moment and not let this cycle pass them by.
