Was only about 8 Months ago many on here were talking of 4p+.
Now they seemed to have disappeared into depths of their Telegram Bubble.
Well you can buy at 0.357p anyway so why beat around the bush ha
Soon you'll be selling them at 1p+
Here, Here!!
Come on MM's, a spread of 14.286%...utter nonsense, get your finger out of your butt and drop the ASK price. FFS
This along with my other decent holding are still under the radar to many & I expect both to perform very well pretty soon.
I like the management style of both.
Narrowest one I have seen for some time.Actual sale price quoted at 0.36 and purchase price of 0.365 for 1m shares which suggests that todays transaction at 0.365 was actually a buy and not a sell ,which I am always happy to see.
I suspect its because they are on the cusp of a major deal of some kind. Flurry of buying today. Rare as its usually very quiet
I iexpect things to change here very soon
I have regular chats on Linkedin with JC. There is a lot of 'organising' going on, prospective Joint Ventures, chasing SA mining dept for the Water License... but mainly this is because of one thing... the Rough Diamond price. It has stalled, after the big drop, and everyone, especially those looking to mine afresh, are holding. No use in their minds spending money on getting diamonds to make only a little. Once that rough diamond price moves, and it will, there is a definite segmentation occurring between Lab and Real, then we go from tumbleweeds to a wave of RNS's. It's annoying, but we are tied directly to that Diamond Price.
Does anyone know why JC / the BoD are very quiet these days? No interviews for months. Not alot on twitter. The RNS's have dried up completely. There has been no real news of note now for over a year. All seems very strange. The share prce has died with most people now needing 300%+ to break even. JC gets paid very well and we are not seeing much in the way of updates these days. Been here for years but the past one has been a very strange one indeed.
Julian and JPW are very much on the money.
And that’s it.
I'm holding here, and do believe especially in James Campbell. The most simple correlation I have seen is the Rough Diamond price as a graph and our share price. Once the value of rough diamonds starts to rise (and it's hit bottom of that curve and looks to be about to turn up), then we will see a rise in SP. Around that time, it could be someone tries to buy us, but they'd need to convince so many LTH's that it would be worth it for us, and for most, well that is 2p+.In fact, for many really LTH's, 4p+. Patience...
IG .To be frank I would be surprised if anyone is "sniffing about" at present but please do provide further details. And if there is a potential predator is that necessarily good news except for anyone who has bought in recently around the current sp level? Even a purchase price of twice the current price would leave many of us well out of pocket
I think you'll be surprised at who is sniffing about, being quite active on the M&A scene in thje diamond sector
These big deals are rarely done when prices are flying. This is the key time for the majors to be doing deals
BOD is too cheap no matter which way you look at it
Yes unfortunately JPW is 100% correct.
Until rough diamond prices recover the assets and projects BOD hold mean very little.
And unless the company starts to generate revenue, another cash call is almost inevitable in the next 10 to 12 months.
For long-term holders, this is full of promise, but it is becoming a hard equity to hold
The main wait is on the Rough Diamond Price. That is stable now and a true demarcation is occurring between Real and Lab Diamonds. This will widen and even to an extent some that bought Lab will want 'the real thing' as they get older and understand that Real hold their values so much more. How long will that be... anyone's guess, but months into year+ it 'seems'.
Given the Mcap is now only £4m and they have no cash concerns due to recent raise, one would assume the next move is up
Chart wise it looks mega over extended to the downside and a snap back should happen soon
As a few have mentioned there is some interesting M&A activity about and i wonder if the likes of Anglo American owned De Beers have their eye on BODs assets?
Hi Rich. Yes i know they've been working on some big deals for a while. Obviously never really know when things are going to kick off
But i'm safe in the knowledge family & friends were happy to get involved at 0.5p and the shareprice is on the extreme oversold side
Fundamentally its a ludicrous valuation, the broker note highlights that
Patient buyers will do very well from 0.4p
Hi IG, you’ve been around the block judging by your posting history starting in 2011 - same as mine. Be honest, have you ever really paid much attention to brokers’ notes? Especially in a small (tiny) cap share like this.
But on the flip side, if diamond prices start to recover and company operations really come good here, then I can well imagine that 4p target being conservative - but with the caveat that these things take time to unfold and in the meantime, investors might wish to avail themselves of better short term opportunities, or indeed simply stay in cash and enjoying decent interest rates? Maybe the end of the tax year might bring some welcome relief to the sp, or maybe we’ll have received good news by then? Fingers obviously crossed.
Atb
I m mean even if they achieve 25% of that target of 4p its still a multibagger from 0.4p
Its crazy as people will likely chase this soon on significant news but until then it stays quiet in the doldrums
Fantastic Risk v Reward, esp as they have plenty cash given the recent fundraise for family & friends at 0.5p
They clearly know something
Yes, a broker note has been issued
It’s by first equity
It’s on the Botswana diamonds website apparently
Link?
Just highlights how ludicrously undervalued this stock is.
I don't expect it to stay this cheap for long.
10 bagger potential in 2024
All things being equal BOD should, about now, be transferring across to TR and generating some serious revenue.
JVs should be in place in respect of Ghagoo and the piecing together of what could be a significant new mine.
But, we all know that’s not how things tend to go. I guess if it were that simple everyone would be investing in exploration companies…
What sets BOD apart, for me at least, is the people involved (namely JC), their track record, the phenomenal potential and the fact they are entirely debt free.
As JP says, commodities are cyclical. Lots of macro factors at play but BOD remains busy getting ducks in a row waiting ahead of the inevitable change of tide.
It certainly tests one’s emotions as any of the LTHs here will tell you. But the potential financial returns here are incredible and I want to be a part of it when it happens.
