ha ha .. even NickD never had 150M shares LOL
Often a wise strategy @OliG "I deliberately avoided until I had made my investment".
There are, however, a few very large LTH's here who invested pretty much when Bushveld was a small Iron Ore company having met Fortune Mojapelo and were so impressed by him personally and his ideas ....
However bumpy, FM has proved to be a very capable, thoughtful and impressive strategist in the 4 years I have been invested (6 for some folk around here)
Mikhail Nikomarov is equally impressive with BE
Alphacomp - Didn't you sell up your 150m tame shares and sail off into the sunset?
Lesson: I need to be more careful listening to forking idiots on the internet.
RichKen, Alfacomp, thanks for all the information and links. I've been looking at some of the video's of Fortune which I deliberately avoided until I had made my investment. I wanted to look at cold hard facts and not be suckered in by personality. Having said that he is very impressive and when you are putting together so many businesses and building a vertically integrated group you need to have a personality that inspires belief otherwise you couldn't pull it off.
I'm no stranger to AIM or long term investing so I have no doubt it might be a bumpy journey but its rare for a company to be this exciting so I'm absolutely looking forward to the ride. I'm already thinking I need to increase my stake!
Welcome, OliG! It is good to have new investors on the board and to learn their reasons for choosing. There are many long term holders here who have been almost here as long as the company has been listed, and many who have joined over the last 3 year.
The company is managed in a very astute way and the impeccable management has already turned Vametco from a plat with potential to one with a highly motivated staff with great training and high self-worth. Vanchem will almost certainly follow the same path. These two plants feeding from the mine at Vametco and the soon to be opened 'super mine' at Mokopane (the largest high-grade vanadium asset on the planet) are just the beginning. The bedrock of the business has been supplying the steel market with one of the best products in the vanadium additive world Nitrovan.
That was just the beginning, but the eye was really somewhere else, a market that was just a glimmer in the eye before. Now that market is just starting to rise and a technology which lasts so long, doesn't fade in use and is recyclable makes a compelling case in the market. Mikhail Nikomarov has helped pave a pathway to making sure that the Vanadium Redox Flow Battery is the key stationary energy storage choice with a well-educated team and 2020 and 2021 are going to open that market with key acquisitions and fast pace developments to reach a market which is going to be worth billions in the years ahead.
Bushveld Minerals and Bushveld Energy are looking a very exciting investment prospect with a focused global aspiration.
Hope you and others new here has their timing is well rewarded!
Cheers, RK

correct OliG, and welcome .... may still take a year or two, but this be a global energy player that is just about to leave junior school for High School ..... just wait until it gets to the A-Level and Higher stage.
Mining will be just a downstream sub-function (Not in any way diminishing the very technical nature of the process).
Buckle up and ignore the noise ... long & strong
I didn't but I will have a look this week. Thanks for the welcome.
Welcome OliG - you will discover this board to be generally a good bunch apart from the rather obvious purveyors of nonsense.
In your research did you chance across the Bushveld Perspective perhaps ?
I spent the weekend looking at this company and invested this morning. I don't normally invest in this sector but it is clear this isn't your normal mining company. The valuation seems very low with nothing in it for upside. It feels like an opportunity to invest on the cheap on the back of period of low V price. Its clear this board also has some posters that know their knitting.
