Im hoping there is a delay between each announcement just to allow the traders out and reward those who have supported the company.
Vanchem, Mokopane, East London electrolyte building commenced, then a massive Eskom VRFB contract.
not going to argue with you RK... just I will.point out that originally Mokopane we expected 18 months ago... long long before Vanchem.
I do however agree that although Vametco feedstock can be used at Vanchem, the story is just so much better with Mokopane.
Not long now.....
The million Rand question from the Oracle!
We should lift to 40 to 50p. But the potential should get use to 80p plus.
What the market will actually do though is down to how many people are sitting waiting for the news. They need to put there money where there mouths are!
RichKen et al, these two announcements could be the spark that triggers the re-rate the MMs and shorters seem to be preparing for. What SP do you think we could be at if we get both RNSs?
Faramog, I know you may think that, but factually you are incorrect (not wanting to argue, but I know the fact here). Mokopane is fundamental to the Vanchem deal. There is no doubt at all if Bushveld had not got the secure source from Mokopane that the increase of capacity may have been a business risk without being 100% sure that they could bring a fast supply at low cost to Vanchem for long term supply. The ore and supply chain from Mokopane is beyond massive!
Though, I absolutely agree with your statement! - "having multiple processing sites is a very significant de-risk to inward investment. This is why we rather expect a significant re-rate very shortly"
I truly expect a significant re-rate over the next 2 to 4 weeks. I guess so does the market, hence the closure of the shorts. You don't run 'a short' when the price is about to rise quickly.
The added value that Mokopane and Vanchem bring is huge. Mokopane could if we had the processing ability easily supply 25% of the worlds vanadium demand every year based on today's market!
Vanchem and Vametco will bring 8400 mtV to the market within 3 years. Then consider a high-efficiency greenfield plant at Mokopane being built in 3 to 4 years time and you have the worlds largest primary supplier of lowcost vanadium.
Every long term holder here truly believes and can see the picture unfolding and that means this company is going big and it will be one of the benchmark Vanadium businesses for years to come!
In a few weeks time, we will be a very excited group of investors! Anyone ready for Booomm time!
Cheers, RK
RK ... "
There is no way Fortune will have moved ahead with Vanchem purchase without being sure that Mokopane will happen.".
I completely disagree ... FM would have snapped up Vanchem with or without Mokopane. One of the great limiters to the market recognising the Bushveld potential is that it is one mine, one product ... having multiple processing sites is a very significant de-risk to inward investment. This is why we rather expect a significant re-rate very shortly
Richken - yes we have seen how careful Fortune is with getting all his ducks lined up in the past. Vanchem (pronounced 'K'em as in 'Chemistry') will be no different and whilst Vanchem could work with Vametco/Brits ore (perhaps it may have even done this already ...) it is clear from what Fortune has said that Mokopane is the intended supplier for that site.
On the subject of Mokopane and the announcements, we need to think about the legality of the RNS.
There is no doubt that Bushveld now that the Vanchem project will complete on the 31st October and that at some point in the immediate future that the Mokopane Licence will be confirmed.
If you think about when you sell your home, you know that you are moving, but you can't confirm that you are actually moving into that house until the contract is exchanged! That would be when you could RNS it- so to speak!
Bushveld know that Mokopane licences is coming and that they will soon be able to start the development work. They may even know the suggested date for the announcement, but they will not and cannot announce anything until the ink is dry on the paperwork.
There is no way Fortune will have moved ahead with Vanchem purchase without being sure that Mokopane will happen.
For me we will hear news on both within days of each other!
Good spot NIckyP
'Mokopane is positioned to become a primary source of feedstock for Vanchem, creating a fully integrated vanadium producing business in a shorter time frame and at a lower cost, as opposed to a standalone operation. The Company engaged MSA to undertake a definitive feasibility study in September 2019 for the development of the Mokopane mine. The expedited Mokopane development, as a possible primary feedstock supply to Vanchem, does not remove the optionality of supplying ore to other primary or secondary producers worldwide, and/or to develop Mokopane into an integrated mine and processing plant.'
The word expedited may mean they are on the charge to speed things up.
It would be fantastic if that were to happen. The I for Mokopane is Impending. Lol
Tucked away in the interims is this, which does suggest things are quietly on the move:
"The Company engaged MSA to undertake a definitive feasibility study in September 2019 for the development of the Mokopane mine"
Looking at some of your posts ,don't come across as someone who would just speculates,so sorry if the "just a hunch" quote offended you.
gambitxjs interested to know is your opinion on mokopane been granted before vanchem, based on a hunch or something more concrete, thanks.
