One other point - the company is already making multi-million dollar profits just from Vametco and now it will do the same from Vanchem. Bushveld Energy is so multifaceted in its business model it is revenue streams coming from all its multiple investments as the come to fruition. The is a huge growth of assets and shows a remarkable strategy to make a business grow exponentially. It's just the market is still sleeping! Well, some investors are not and are making the most of this incredible buying opportunities!
Cheers, RK
Thanks Alfa - As always your points confirm all the reasons why Fortune and Mikhail have been so successful in building not only foundations of a great business but taken control of one of the key vanadium mines in the world and given the mine a hugely extended life with Brits. Then they have done everything ready to open the largest vanadium mine in the world which will become the key supply chain for the energy storage business which is being created undermined by the ultimate flow battery technology! These are all key factors that Mr Buffet would look for if his team have not already.
Great write up and contribution!
Cheers RK
Forgot to say. Hysteria over here with the virus. Although allowed through immigration from Cambodia to Vietnam ok with temperature check. Many buses to Hoi An futher north would not let me on as a foreigner. The public are so influenced by the media hype
Ii sunny vietnam now. What will unlock the current suppressed SP apart from $profit. I assume cessation of ? share overhang. Shorting (I assume that may always be around) What else. We have gone through extended periods of little trading. V price increase. If continue on AIM still at the mercy of MMs agenda
Really does put the predictable frustration-driven moaning and negativity from the usual suspects into perspective.
Great post Alfa.

Around that point the news of the remarkable Fangchenggang VTM processing plant (production capacity of 20GW VRFB - https://translate.google.co.uk/translate?sl=zh-CN&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fv.gxnews.com.cn%2Fa%2F16125133&edit-text=&act=url ) broke so I travelled to manchester to attend the Vanitec Energy Storage Meeting that was piggybacking on he International Flow Battery Forum there. I discovered that far from being bit players in the worldwide Vanadium market Mikhail and Fortune are actually the key instigators in it. They are the ones that are getting Sumitomo to open up with their data, they are they ones building alliances across the industry and bringing forward plans to standardise electrolyte production so that everyone can benefit from cheaper and more reliable electrolyte supply.
Without building the foundations as they have patiently done over the last 5 years there would be no VIP investment platform and without things like the VIP the VRFB industry will constantly be at the mercy of Vanadium prices and those who trade it to make speculative gains. The VRFB industry cannot afford have that happen. Nor quite frankly can the rest of the world.
So since mid 2017 we have taken full control of Vametco, increased production and lowered costs, removed Yellow Dragon from the equation, installed a demonstration battery at Eskom, produced a maiden resource for Brits, purchased Vanchem outright, developed and rolled out an electrolyte rental product, got the license for Mokopane unlocked, starting building an electrolyte plant at East London and lined up to buy into and provide exclusive supply to three of the world's leading VRFB companies.
And the share price is only twice what it was then - really ?
Anyone thinking that Bushveld Energy needs to post multi-million dollar profits before the SP appreciates is really fooling themselves.
RichKen - indeed if you are looking for a short term punt then there are plenty of bubble stocks out there that are regularly being pumped by the usual chancers. I tried this about 5 years ago and concluded that you were just as likely to get burnt as you were to make any money, plus it was all too stressful - fooling yourself into believing that you are learning something about security counterfeiting technology one week and orphan drugs the next. As they say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
At that point I decided to look around for a company that had undeniably high quality assets that nobody could argue about. I remembered an article that I had read by e1itetrader that described Mokopane as one of the highest grade Vanadium resources in the world and came back to look at Bushveld. I liked what I saw there and on this discussion board. I bought shares.
I looked at the warrants and the trading and figured that if you looked at the trades you should be able to see when the specifically sized warrant blocks were being sold. Guess what, that worked out too - by carefully looking at the specific sizes of the trades you could piece together what was going on in the warrant trading. Encouraged I bought more shares.
I went to see Fortune at the proactive meetings held at the Berkeley Hotel in London. He shone out as someone with a long term vision and someone who was not simply going to be poached by the next AIM promotion vehicle that emerged from the London bubble. Here was someone you could invest in long-term.
At that point Bushveld shares were 3-4p and they were just circling to descend upon Vametco, here was the fabled brownfield processing facility that Fortune had long spoken about. Only later did we all work out that he secured this by cleverly getting Lemur to buy out the Brits concession next door to the Vametco mine. Fortune literally walked in the back door of the mine.
But despite this obvious step forward the share price fell, so I continued buying what was essentially a significantly derisked proposition - all the way down to 1.5p. Around christmas 2016 the overhang broke and the SP rapidly rerated to 8p+, touching 10p in mid 2017.

With you @daisydog. I started at 35p and bought down to 24p. Prob too overall enthusiastic with my sipp. All in and haven’t been able to purchase any more below 24p but exasperated seeing it drop down to 18p and couldn’t believe the 17p
I'm with you 100% there UKSG. BE has been here for 4 years now but hasn't added anything to the SP. It wont until there are clear revenue streams. And I continue to believe the news flow is too slow. The JSE listing being kicked so far down the path after initial discussion and the same with talk of dividends too. I kick myself for becoming over enthusiastic and averaging up through the 30s and even 40s.
Mark my words. History will prove me right.
JSE. Domino 1.
No doubt the company has progressed in terms of production and acquisitions, but that progress needs to be converted into a revenue streams by virtue of gaining orders, contracts and agreements, That has yet to happen. . It has been extremely excruciating the last 15 months or so watching the sp slowly deteriorate , the falling vanadium price, lack of news on several fronts. I remain cautiously optimistic, I am not totally sold on Eskom who seem to be toxic, and have always accepted there is risk here. I am not al in with this, and my average is very low. My lowest buy was 1.33p
Uksteveg- but you’re still here so you must be confident?? You have seen the progress. Sooner or later the value of the business will better reflect the assets growth.
Pity the sp does not grow as well , at least for the last 15 months its contracted
Recently said that you are not buying shares you are buying a company. As the company grows it’s value and worth expands as its assets grow and so does its inventory.
This certainly applies to Bushveld Minerals - just look at what it is doing. That is why it is such a great long term investment!
