I've been looking at some of TCC's infrastructure projects, and who've they partnered with and its mighty impressive. If the plans are to make Georgia net exporters of gas based on current internal production numbers then they must be happy that there's a massive untapped resource in the country to be developed. Exciting times.
PS. BLOE was mentioned a Chinese newspaper a few months back- The link was posted on here but I can't find it- does anyone have the link?- wondering if any kind of connection or just a general interest in Georgian gas- either way, looking good ladies and gentlemen-
Hold on to your hats... (obviously not you Mikey, as you'll be otherwise engaged, morning glory and all that)
This is very good news indeed. The change that serious Chinese involvement can make to a developing economy is astronomical. I went to on holiday to Addis Ababa four years running 2015-18. The rate of development (certainly, in the business area ) meant that each time it was like visiting the city afresh.
They don't throw money away at basket cases either-They look for great economic potential, strong and co-operative government and low levels of corruption. - A little like China really- Ethiopia and Georgia aren't that different- 2 of the oldest nation states on the planet, great natural resources and both suffered many years of communist oppression but they can also benefit from some of that discipline in later years.
Our current 29m Mcap is petty cash for the Chinese majors... They deal in billions when the rest of the sector deals in millions.....and money talks in Georgia. Very exciting times ahead for BLOE.
Proves the deep pockets are in town and have a nose for BLOE’s gas. Yes the oil is a bonus always has been.
So with China looking to become the main player in Georgia they will be looking at the whole picture here.... If PH and the gang hit the Gas then anyone care to bet that China ( with the worlds deepest pockets) won't muscle in at west Rustarvi and swallow up BLOEin its entirity?
PH said many months ago...he has many calls from companies looking for info in what it's like to do business in Georgia.... I don't want to jump the gun here....but 50p a share will do me :-0
Very exciting times here in the run up to Christmas .... My guess is the previous highs of 17p will be breached before the Big Jolly fella comes down my chimney!
Think the article relates to FRR for the 202TCF (Trillion Cubic Feet) gas
How much gas does Block have again?
Thanks is owed to the boys on FRR chat , Stolen from there ;)
Nice spot Mills.
Mega news for BLOE wow

23 October 2019 13:59 (UTC+04:00)
BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 23
By Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:
Georgia seeks to successfully establish a bridge with Europe and become a guaranteed and reliable supplier of natural gas to European states, said Wang Lei, Vice President of China Tianchen Engineering Corporation (TCC), Trendreports via the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
He made the remarks at the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum 2019, which is being held in the Georgian capital on October 22-23.
Wang Lei spoke about current trends in energy supply, Georgia’s energy potential and joint projects in the country.
“We are implementing a project in Georgia, so we have studied this country well. We are currently working on the Gardabani project, which was commissioned by the Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation. Georgia is a good resource for hydropower development. With regards to energy supply, we can contribute to the electrical safety of Georgia by building electric enterprises,” he said.
