A watched pot never boils as the old saying goes. I'm going to remove Bloe as my LSE favourite and replace with something staid like RRE or DGOC.
Never get rich on those unless you have a good deal of money spare, and there is no spiteful banter on the boards which I will miss, but Bloe just keeps doing nothing when we believes know it should be flying.
We are stuck because of one bad call made by PH in.trying to sort the water ingress on 16az on the quiet and then keeping quiet about it been shut in when the fix failed. We've been.punished severely so hopefully forgiveness will soon be coming from.the market.
I'm waiting.... Come on Bloe time to wake up. It's time to move it move it, it's time to move it move it, it's time to move it move it, it's time to MOVE IT!
Anytime now :-)
They are putting these small trades through as sells that 12k was my little top up.
Lets hope so Nicodemus
Got a good wind behind us today, Nikkei, Hang Seng, ASX and SEE all nicely up, Arab world opening back up after Ramadan, oil still rising slowly (far better than crazy swings, unless you are a day trader,IMO) and lockdown ending in in the UK- Surely a blue day?
I think the best scenario with poo for those of us not in US shale would be $40 WTI and $45 for Brent for the next six months. High enough to keep Wall Street indices happy and the rest of the world surfing in their wake. Low enough for 80% of US shale drillers to be unable to make a profit and hopefully get knocked out of business.
I think we deserve a positive blue week here with news not too far away, poo rising steadily, lockdown easing in many places. Hopefully the worst is behind us! Onwards and upwards for BLOE!
See that the shareholders list not been updated , Still showing GOG shares.
Suspect that good news will then slip in the update of shareholders list
judging by de anza college website - they have stepped up security ...so it would seem that the richer white area has made itself even more secure, by having more police resources diverted to that area - bet they don't offer escorts or even turn up further down the street!
Police Escort
Police can accompany you to your class, car or bus stop between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday-Friday. Please call 650.949.7313 to request an escort.
Campus Patrol

V111jas - talking of racially divided...and I bet not much is different now!
i spent time in cupertino, northern california some years back - I stayed on stevens creek boulevard near de anza college. (just over 20 years ago.)
The area I is was in, was predominantly white, with manicured lawns, clean streets and a very civilised manner.
We took the bus one day to head towards santa cruz - the first part of the journey was the long drive along the full length of stevens creek boulevard and onwards. (if i recall correctly)
as we journeyed along the street, slowly but surely the colour of the skin of the people on the bus changed from white to nearly all black and the general state of the street and premises on the route, were just slightly more untidy and in need of a paint job. Further along, we noticed that the colour of the skin of the majority on the bus, changed from black to brown and most were of indian appearance, which was closely followed by the change to a more far eastern appearance of passengers only. The state of the properties and street outside had taken quite a nose dive, with a lot more rubbish on the pavements and dilapidation was more evident. Further along the route, the colour of the skin of the passengers, returned to predominantly brown, however, the occupants were clearly of south american, hispanic origin and outside the bus the streets were littered with broken down cars, boarded up shops, people sitting indoor ways smoking in amongst piles of refuse.
The slow and steady decline in standard of living and how races lived apart, was a clear example of the full divide between communities in this part of northern california.
When I called the bus operator to ask what stop we got off at (before boarding - no mobile phone!), the employee asked me "what colour are you?"- I enquired why this was relevant - she said "if you are white, then do not get off before the stop at Bird Avenue - you will be in the south americans territory and it won't be safe to disembark the bus. They have rules - on the bus, safe, off the bus and not south american before bird avenue, not safe. We got off at Bird avenue.
Point being - like finds like, communities generally live amongst their own kind - the only slightly mixed race area was the predominantly rich white end of the road. Why was this - money - those with money, mainly lived in the richer predominantly white area, irrespective of their skin colour or origin - all others lived within their own racial group, in their own segment of town, without any mixed race living at all and hardly any cash between them.
I moved on to Belmont and Carmel after this and these areas were spotless and exceptionally well run - at least the areas I visited were!
Not sure about today, but I bet it isn't much different - as societies rarely change and if they do, it is at a snails pace.
Mills ~~~ Your ignorance of The USA is clearly on a par with the ignorance of probably 85% of Americans knowledge of the world outside Fortress America .
SEA7 ~~~ Your second paragraph is almost 100% correct ! Except ; that the the privileged believe they have been dealt a hand of Five Aces ; the poor , disadvantaged , and so many in minority or racially divided communities KNOW they have been dealt a hand of Jokers !
NIC ~~ Your comment re British politicians is SO right .
Mind you , if you go back , let`s just say to the turn of the 20th Century, just about every British Political leader has had his /her hand in some grubby or destructive conflict . B Liar , immeasurably the worst .
America , since the American / Spanish war in 1898 , has either instigated or been a major participant in every world conflict , and involved in many other more localised wars , not to mention their political , industrial and financial interference across the globe !
They ARE ; a very divided Nation of extremes . Unbelievable wealth for the 1% ish has come as a consequence of exploitation , and the millions available for exploitation .
I`m no `Socialist` , BUT , there is something seriously amiss with the current `Capitalist` perspective which to me seems to have morphed into some variant of `Nova Communism` .
`Land Of The Free `over here ~~~ LoL !
For all Trumps faults and they are legion, I'll say one huge thing in his favour. He isn't a macho war monger like George W or Obama.
Untold misery has been caused in Iraq and Libya, with obviously knock on effect in Syria as a result of those pair, along with their British poodles Blair and Cameron. Both were functioning states with education, health services, women working in professional capacities whatever we thought of Saddam and Gadhaffi.
Fair enough Nic we know what he's like, but we don't get to vote there. They re-elected George W.. Bill Bryson has noted that millions of U.S. citizens believe they have encountered extra-terrestrial aliens. So I won't bet on the outcome.
Mills, you are the only Brit I know who doesn't consider Trump.to be a goof, mug, plum, muppet etc.
Even BJ said publically in an interview that he wasn't fit for office after Trump had been saying Whitechapel was a no go area for Christians and that the residents were wanting to impose Sharia law in.the area.
yes V111JAS - definitely an issue that is one of the undercurrents in the gas world.
on the subject of trump - I have had personal involvement with americans over several years in the past and visited america on about 15 occasions over a period of about nine years. One thing I found common amongst all of them - they all believe that you are given a royal flush off the deck by being born an american, they believe america is the best and greatest and have little regard for outsiders.
Trump plays into that and feels exactly the same way as the majority of his country feels - he is most likely going to be elected again.
Goof .. lol . Trump is going to win in a landslide ! Whats the other option the corrupt and bent DemocRATS .. Biden doesn't even know his own name, I wouldn't trust him with a remote control !
SEA7 : That is such an interesting issue .
A lot will ride on the outcome in November . If that goof Trump gets back in ( and it is possible ~ surprisingly ~ imo ) then change is likely to be muted for the next four years . If the Dems win the Presidency big changes are likely , if the Dems win back the Senate there again I think that will likely impact the fracking industry which would appear to have at least reached its zenith , there`s huge resistance from some quarters . I just can`t see volume demand for oil reaching anything like previous highs any time soon , worse still , if this wretched virus takes off again , it is going to be very difficult to make predictions with any great sense of accuracy .
GAS is the way forward , at least into the medium term . imo .
Fwiw ~ I also feel we must be getting close to some positive news flow .
GLA .
Indeed SEA7, gathered that was your intention. I honestly the US is going to be unable to export much oil or gas before too long. Shale is just too unprofitable and if the Democrats get in, they'll be sticking the boot in from an environmental point of view.
All the better for us who are invested elsewhere in.the world or conventional oil and gas extraction in the US. Realise shouldn't cross ramp but bought into DGOC precisely because I think shale fracking is a dying industry and the Democrats will go for the frackers before conventional Oilers.
hence the post nicodemus - if there is a squeeze on supply - there will be greater support for the operation we have and ultimately a higher share price.
Newbie. Our gas price is fixed. However if the US is stopping exporting gas (as it will soon be for fracked oil,) it has to be a very good thing for everyone investing in O&G firms elsewhere in the world.
So pleased this ended above 2p
Hasn’t the gas price already been fixed? Or have I missed something?
The London-based contrarian long/short hedge fund firm led by Russell Clark believes US exports of liquefied natural gas are likely to fall, “potentially precipitously”, in the current trading environment – a knock-on effect of lower US oil production.
