Exactly spud...i've seen shares i stayed in for 6 months then go onto 4x in a month. This will go to double figures in time.
All is lined up - just a game of patience
Thanks for clarifying. I’m sticking with this share at least until we hit double figures. I’ve made mistakes in the past bailing out of oilers having given up hope. My lesson has been to add on a few months expectation in terms of sp appreciation as it always seems to take the wider market longer than I thought to grt interested. But interest will arrive at some point if we deliver our plan - of that there can be no doubt. Key next milestone is updated flow rates inclduing 16 remediation. Think most of us have discounted that to zero given the issues over the past two years so whatever it delivers is a bonus for me, and I suspect most other investors also.
Persistent buying all day all within a 0.04 range and the price dropped. It’s like the ask will implode over 2.45.
Why bizarre?
Are they still buying before reporting via TR-1
Once the full order has gone through
Also choke size can be cut back to prolong integrity which is having the opposite effect of decline. It’s not like they’ve been on a testing period is it. What next Geo the oil they’re pumping is black, they have to transport the gas in pipes? Really cmon, bowl us something that we have to defend.
Geowiz - You are once again MIS REPRESENTING the facts - You state that there has been a decline in production of 385 boed but 260 boed of this was due to the fact that WR16aZ has now been shut in.
(WR16aZ was producing 260 boed at the beginning of February - sourcre of information - Stephen James podcast production charts)
The cult of block - The good, the bad and the ugly!!
Well even by Blocks standards yesterday was a bizarre trading day. All adds to the cult of Block. Enjoy funday friday peeps.
Oil sales are not growing they are shrinking. Oil production always declines from start up so 940 to 555 boepd is normal albeit rapid, it happened last time with these very wells in 2019. So obviously folks will want to know what April and May rates are before taking a view. If it stabilises at 300 - 400 that’s good enough. Until then not worth the risk.
Drop losses are a pain as MMs can see this information and if large buyer then they drop price if no volume.
not of people know but stop lose can mean lower price sold then you set

I feel your frustraruoms V111 but it will come. I have waited 2 yrs for MATD to work out and it's doubled 3 days. Once we get more figures and 1st spud people will come join the party. Just hang in with us. My BE is 4p.
Despite considerable improvement in prospects , assets , production , sales and revenue there is virtually no difference in the Mkt cap to that in April last year . Depressing and difficult to quantify . Even more so when considered against the December peak at 4.5p . I can`t reconcile this against the facts that have been discussed ; Covid , the PH factor , obfuscation , workovers , delays and dilution .....etc .
At a Mkt Cap of 14M with , apparently , 6M in the bank and gas / oil sales growing , this is just ridiculous !
I`m am amazed this has been taken out , presumably the big fly in the ointment may be the GoG .
I got my average down to 3.11 p , but until there is clarity or action , I`m just going to sit on my hands , but , this is unusual even for an Oil Company and even for AIM .
Fed up with it ~~~ and the management !
VGL All LTH Stuck in this swamp !
It's funny how it doesn't need volume to drop the share price on a daily basis!
On your first part we need volume to drive up the value this in turn needs a spark of some kind from Block Energy to bring in the punters. So far that has not happened for some reason and hopefully future positive RNS’s will start the ball rolling.
On your second part are the MM’s keeping this share low to fill an order? If so then they have been doing this for a long time. Can’t be the same one order. So yes they will do this but the time scale is now in the months . If I purchase shares this way say one month ago then I would not be happy with this share staying at a crazy unreal price.
So why on your point 2 is it constantly staying low?
F&F is a viable reason but open to people’s view on this .
Research says this is a share to own . Many large buys but ........
Dummy sells that get cancelled. Don’t get me started!
Thanks Gary - they are the lines of which I was thinking so thanks for your clarity. Yes - makes sense here.
Hi MA1BRW - It depends on how you view the market and the actions of the MMs within it. If you view the market as acting in a "rational" way then it is a market based on supply and demand as with all other commodities. Following on from this the MMs role is purely neutral they simply facilitate the liquidity of shares within the market place. However if you view MMs as not being neutral they can be viewed as acting in a way to drive the SP in a certain direction to suit their own needs. For example, if they wish to accumulate shares they can artificially create a drop for no obvious reason and gather up cheap shares to sell on to a "big player". Does that sound familiar.? They reckon that share prices can drop 3 times quicker than they rise and obviously fear outweighs greed for many people..................
Somehow , none of the `goings on` here feel quite right .
~~~ Ownership change ?
Can someone explain the MM process and how they buy 8m shares in such a short period of time. Do they have an order come in to buy lets say 4m shares and they drive the price down by buying to lowest prices until the price drops and keep buying the people who get worried about the dropping price?
interesting another late reported 2m buy
