Hopefully he reshuffles portions and that miserable looking Ribera woman is turfed out for being totally unrealistic and incompetent.
An absolute clear conflict of interest,
'Ribera is also a member of several advisory councils, including the Global Leadership Council of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (UNSDSN),[3] the global climate change advisory council of the World Economic Forum,[4] and the Momentum For Change initiative of United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC);[5] belongs to the international council of the BC3, to the advisory council of the Institut pour la Recherche du Développement (IRD)[6] and to the patronages of Fundipax[7] and Fundación Alternativas.[8] In September 2013, she began to collaborate with the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI), based in Paris, and in June 2014 she assumed its direction. The organization is dedicated to the analysis of strategic issues related to sustainable development, climate change, protection of biodiversity, food security and management of the urbanization process.'
She will take Spain down to it's knees with her ideological nonsense that she can provide reals answers for!
Sanchez it is. BKY should put out a statement setting out its strategy for this next coalition.
Could it be that the market thinks the new coalition will be more likely to act lawfully now and grant the outstanding permits now that Podemos are out the picture? Ribera's still around but it was Podemos often openly crowing about flouting the law.

At what point with the country economically break and no longer be viable?
Looks like it'll be Sanchez again come next week with a chaotic coalition but with all sorts of issues particularly around the amnesty.
The BKY sp seems have held steady recently notwithstanding. Any thoughts on what to expect now for BKY? On the face of it not promising for permitting.
JUST IN - After the left-green-liberal government has shut down the last nuclear power plants in Germany, Finance Minister Lindner now says, "as long as it is not clear whether energy is available and affordable, we should end the dreams of a coal phase-out in 2030."
Meanwhile what answers has this government come up with for future energy demands, a solar panel and a wind turbine connected to a battery?
Where is the energy going to come from to extract the minerals to produce those three necessary items and what happens to them at the end of their life cycle of around ten years?
At what point do the Spanish electorate wake up and realise they are being had?
This is a significant week in Spanish politics which could impact on BKY's chances of permitting. Outside chance of a PP lead govt this week, then a couple of months of Sanchez trying, otherwise a general election on 14 Jan.

I'm certainly pleased with my other uranium shares particularly Cameco.
BKY still all about Spanish politics imo. Bloomberg quote JPMorgan today predicting fresh general election Dec/Jan as most likely. Looks like it's adios 2023, another year gone for long suffering BKY shareholders :-(
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-09-15/new-election-in-spain-is-the-most-likely-scenario-jpmorgan-says?leadSource=uverify%20wall
"Uranium prices have surged to their highest level in 12 years, underlining a global renaissance in nuclear power as utilities race to lock in fuel supplies.
Prices for the commodity dubbed “yellowcake” have jumped about 12 per cent to $65.50 per pound over the past month, breaching last year’s peak to reach heights not seen since 2011, according to data from UxC, a pricing data provider.
Uranium demand has been lifted by governments from Washington to Seoul and Paris seeking energy independence by extending the lifetime of the existing fleet of nuclear reactors as they contemplate building new plants after gas prices skyrocketed due to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The milestone for uranium prices marks a big step towards nuclear power’s re-emergence as a critical carbon-free source of baseload power in global efforts to tackle climate change, a role that had been undermined by Japan’s Fukushima nuclear disaster in 2011."

The Times they are a changing.....
Not a great end to the day....hoping for news from Brussels and Madrid on a new EU Energy Policy.
I saw something in the alternative media about this today,
Basically the African counteries have teamed up with China and Russia and given Macron the FU finger, now France has lost a uranium source.
It is only matter of time before reality hits these ideological idiots, they need uranium as a base load power in Europe and the source material is within their borders!
Amused to read that a Spanish Company has a 10% stake in one of the mines!
Spain and EU are still needlessly buying expensive uranium off Russia and presumably Niger too still post coup. They talk democracy but deal with oppressive autocrats. They don't walk the walk.
Much better to exploit Spain's uranium resources. Cheaper, security of supply, clean energy, jobs and prosperity for an impoverished region, ends unlawful withholding of permits etc. Time to permit BKY's mine whichever way you look at it.
The likes of Putin?
China and India are doing just fine out of it, as far as I can see it just you and I suffering from UK government war policy!
The EU gets 25% of its uranium from Niger according to BBC. Even if Sanchez and the Miteco nutters cling to their dumb ideology, you'd think the EU will now pressure them strongly to get Spain's U resources on line asap. Blindingly obvious. You can't trade with places run by the likes of Putin and coup leaders. Makes Spain complicit in all sorts of horrors and abuses. Come on.
Military coup in Niger now (where 20% of Spain's uranium comes from, to go with the 40% from Russia and 10% from Kazakhstan!!)
Given Spain has the largest U reserves in EU, which can be produced immediately and cheaper, and has the highest joblessness in EU...
.....is it time for the government to do the right thing, stop behaving stupidly and unconscionably by buying from unstable despotic regimes, and instead permit BKY's mine, and which it's lawfully obliged to anyway?!
How do Sanchez Ribera and the Miteco lot even sleep at night, pouring money into these appalling regimes? Time to get tf on with it.
By sheer luck actually in the blue on my bottom feeding punt! Positive about future prospects but unsure of the timescale.
Most commentators seem to be predicting another election later this year. Sanchez seems to have had a good run up to the election and got the leftist and youth vote out. Conversely Feijoo (despite winning) messed up big time, turning down debates, dissing Vox and mishandling interviews and his skeletons etc.
So if he gets it right next time, might he succeed? It'd be good for BKY.
I agree it's oversold but a hold for now till the dust settles imo.
This explains the politics quite well.
BBC News - Spain's conservatives miss out on all-out victory as left celebrates
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-66285245
Looks materially oversold so will attract traders at current levels, the RSI sits around 20, has bounced off this level many times. Could rally back to 25p/30p once the dust settles.
BKY has around £40m in cash.
Just bought 7,500 shares via HL.
I think the drop today is way over done.
As I understand it, there's a small prospect of a leftist or rightist coalition. More likely is a hung parliament and another general election at Christmas.
The legal case is ticking along in the background, but barring a new coalition now we're probably back in limbo till the end of the year.
I suspect BKY won't rev up the legal case yet, pending more clarity on the political situation.

My only issue with AURA is the current management
Being better than the previous management is not enough
They have taken far too much in remuneration and have raised this year after saying they would not
The usual AURA pump brigade have started pushing it again on twitter
