" The three major labels – Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group have signed the Music Climate Pact which will see them pledge “actionable climate targets”.

Shouldn't be long before Content giants commit to a Video pledge...now that Music has taken a stand ...which should be good for cloud video editing companies, amongst others :-)
Interesting that Schroders who sold down half their holdings in June from the highs have increased again from these lows
..now back over 5% at 5.35% ...I would imagine then they have participated in the Fund Raise ... a new TR-1 would come through next week after they hit the market, if they have
Sisteract
hi..hope you are well...agree..the OTCQX markets have so many companies in them, that it is difficult to stand out and even get noticed ....needs to really be picked up by one of the tech funds that can add them to a ETF type fund ....
on a side note ..I am hoping that gradually CBS Sports Digital starts to use BIRD more after their initial use with football
Tomorrow´s presentation will once again be listened to for any hints on anything upcoming
I agree Pokerchips. It's good that IM and Premier took part in the placing but the USA is where it's at. It is Birds largest market by some distance and that will always be the case. The OTCQX has really done nothing for bird of any note, it doesn't for British companies... it did nothing for Shield Thera and a few others. If the end game is a sale they really need to be making a much bigger splash over there. The only other consideration is some for of domiciling as it's well known that American Investors really only favour American Stocks but I don't think that is in Birds thinking.
" The Placing Shares have been placed with existing and new investors. "
new investors - needs an "American "influencer" who provides a pillar on which the January US investor/client Tour can add some clout
Pokerchips hi,
Likewise, I am sure the gaffer has enough pocket money even for a little Xmas present to his family and friends....
Interesting what folks prediction for this time next year....I will be the first with 50p SP.....
ATB,and GLA.
I topped up...they already have more revenue booked for 2022 than the whole of 2019 ....and with both the Summer (and shortly) the Winter Olympics under their belt ...it becomes clear they can handle any major sporting event
I guess Ian needed some expenses money for his trip to the US in January (COVID and weather permitting) .... let´s hope £7m covers it :-)
Good news and long overdue. The land and expand strategy has got them to this point but if they are to scale the business money has to come from somewhere and if they are not generating the profits the money has to come from a placing. The discount is fine. Let’s hope they use it wisely including expanding the team as there is a over reliance on SS.
As a rule a placing and dilution is never a good news, HOWEVER as a fast growing company with huge potential and not enough (yet....)revenue to support it's expansion this is inevitable move....
Decent amount raised with only little dilution and at relatively small discount is encouraging.
Folks who disappointing for not giving a chance to participate need not to worry as the market always will be offer opportunity to buy at the placing price (or there about....)and many times even cheaper.....I actually added few recently at below the placing price, and will continue to do the same if that opportunity will arise again.....
Last thing I think the extra cash will help the company to fend against a low offer T/O and will let us expand faster into further new business,
Longer term decent take over is always a possibility... .
GLA.
Pokerchips, yes, fair enough.
"Shame us lowly PI's were not included"
It would mean having to produce a prospectus and no doubt having a shareholder meeting....and would cost far more than it is worth...plus extra dilution ..
Buy an extra 7.8% dilution shares in the open market....at probably the same price
Shame us lowly PI's were not included but I am, otherwise, seeing it as a very positive move and it's good to see they are doing a presentation on Investor Meets tomorrow to explain it all a bit more. I will be tuning in.
7.8% dilution to pick up £7.6m net sounds a good move ...as..they really now need to grow revenue opportunitiesfurther and expand if they are to obtain the potential ...and now or never for that....they have a solid reputation....now expand
Placing to raise approximately £8.0 million before expenses to address new market opportunities
