Ads will undoubtedly ramp up towards the end of the year.
With the holiday season approaching and Thanksgiving and Black Friday ,Cyber Monday and all that ...can only see the adverts increasing from now until Xmas myself .....
Thanks guygad, difficult to confirm things then , a right dog's dinner. Fingers crossed time, again :-) :-)
Management has released names of games, some of them exclusive. Download the games to your phone. Get a proxy for a month (eg StrongVPN) and play the games in different parts of the UK, US, Europe, etc) and take screen grabs of the in-game ads.
Get enough ads and you can get some reassurance that your investment is more than a gamble. Otherwise, you are just trusting management that has historically missed guidance or worse.
(Ad rates in the space are around $3 CPM—70-80% of which is kicked back to the game developer)
Hi guygad,
I'm also curious, because all I hear is how wonderful/not wonderful, loadsa/zilch advertisers, loads/zilch revenue we got/getting. But no-one seems to be able to verify with concrete evidence. Which I've always found odd, as advertising is all about creating noise. So how to confirm which apps have Bids and which of the ads, if more than one, are Bids? Can you help?
Yours etc
Confused
Thanks for the heads up that you took profit. Congratulations!
I've been away from the board for a month or more, but it looks like not much has changed. I'm not in the stock at present (booked profits long ago) so i've no bias either way. That noted, there seems to be zero people contributing actual considered argument or research to the dialog.
Part of the appeal of this company is the ease with which investors can actually track the business of the company--ad placing in games that have committed to Bidstack.
Has anyone here taken the time to download the apps, fire up a proxy, and identify the number and diversity of in game ads and thereby try to figure out whether the company is gonna hit its numbers?
