Looks like it's all going well again today then. Shambles....that's a good word to describe the past 9 months, and i personally think it'll be very apt to describe the next 9....just before the next begging bowl is handed round. Goodness knows who they'll find to make a donation, I'd imagine even the greatest supporters will be feeling a little silly by then. Anzu and the likes will be just near the finish line, while bidstack are stuck in the starting block. What an absolute farce!
So you set up an LSE account just to post that @ JamesTB.
Odd
James what about codemasters?
What did you expect. A tech company building new tech is usually run by someone with a decent tech background. Look at all the competitors, the leaders all have credible backgrounds in technology. What has JD got, a driving instructor/snake oil salesman background creating a tech company.
Come on anyone who invests in a tech company the first thing you check is the leaders background. Do they have a degree in technology from a credible institution like MIT/Stanford/Cambridge and experience in large tech firms? If you are going to build new tech in any industry you better have a great track record because top tier tech people are very rare and cutting-edge tech is one of the hardest things to build. You need a very high calibre tech team and incredible talent. Good luck doing it with zero background and experience.
Bids tech is basic at best. Developers would refuse to put such hacked together tech in their games. Offshoring to 3rd world countries for tech may work for WordPress websites but not commercial grade technology. AAA studios aren’t going to use something built in Russia.
There is a reason why all the top successful tech companies have leaders with degrees from top tier universities . I’m yet to see a successful tech company who has had their tech outsourced to places like India/Russia
Mr nation you talk absolute cack
Very grown up Mr Stocks. You'll see soon though.

Yes gents. There's nothing to get excited about here at all. An absolute joke from start to finish. Even the dreamers will realise it soon.
Not making excuses but this concept has failed before, and gamers are renowned for kicking off over things. If this new ad category makes the wrong moves earlier on, then it could put everything back a few years. I think it is a softly softly catchy monkey approach they are taking, for these and I'm sure other reasons.
There is evidently plenty of testing going on, so to make out it needs a hotshot sales person to come in and corner these gaming companies to close a deal, some of biggest companies in the world, is naive to the bigger picture. The product will be speaking for itself in testing.
To say none of these advisors or CEO's are closer is also a joke. They will have had to wear many hats in their time, including the hunter hat. I don't think bids need a slimy salesman at all. They have access to all major game publishers and are testing with over 35 as per the broker note. Patience is needed here. It is frustrating but I'm sure it will come when the time is right.
I believe it to be a failure to take the technology to market.

I agree. Ad spend is planned months in advance, especially in H2 when demand is greatest. There is no commercial benefit to them in keeping games news secret and it would leak out anyway, so no news means no games which means no revenue for H2. Advertisers aren't suddenly going to change carefully laid H2 plans because Bids announces some new games. Or are we to believe that Bids is organising something so big and complex it has to be kept secret? Things aren't stacking up.
If advertisers can analyse what % of impressions convert to brand recall and to products sold they're happy, which I understand is now possible, so I'm thinking it's a technology problem.
I really fail to understand what bids ard up to!
How can Anzu keep releasing game news, and nothing from bids?
Its very worrying!!!!
Assume people have seen/commented on this out today. Nadeo is a small part of Ubisoft, but it's still Ubisoft.
