Yes. But nobody has bought into bidstack expecting anything from historic results.. and if they have.. then dear me
re..J.udging by the way Mr Mkt received what seemed a pretty good outturn from LTG this morning....
and Kape this mng....
RE: Excellent results and sell off, down to 12 month low?...https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/KAPE/kape-technologies-half-year-results-637bj3ddbw8aqkq.html
tricky times....
Wolf, you make some good points there. Another give away is that the strategy also includes stocks where the ceo has 'skin in the game'. This means there is less of a free float and thus the fluctuations in SP are easier to achieve. I'll give some credit, its a seemingly successful strategy, would be interesting to see what impact a declaration of each trade would have on things.
For record..I am a long term investor here.....with an average way below where we are now.....and I have taken a good profit so I am really in neutral commenting in this place. My own view ,fwiw.....is that it is now 'show me the money time'.Nothing at all original in that....but I merely state it..so as to cut through the sometimes rather hyperbolic /over emotional comments...no more no less.
Judging by the way Mr Mkt received what seemed a pretty good outturn from LTG this morning......I'm not holding my breath....I much prefer to be pleasantly surprised rather than hve over extended expectectations.
RE; JW
He's very vocal about he's investment filter *'it must be less than 20mill or it must be less than 10mill'* blah, blah....is the give away on what type of trader he is .... He knows that with a podcast ramp, constant video ramps and Twitter ramps he can get the market valuation to double in no time he can then flip his original investment and have a free ride....and don't forget he's selling and buying weeks before you.....have your eyes wide open!
re..JW went out of his way to tell people not to sell, Not to buy either, Expected a few % drop but he does say not to buy in a riser SP, But then when he bought safestay, the rsi was over bought, he was telling people to buy.
(I do like the bloke)...... but he does look after number one......lol.....WHAT DO you expect??
.....he must think that everytime he puts out a video recommending this that or the other....the latest spivvy gismo etc.....that Christmas has come early;).....imho...he is considerably worse than the proverbial tipsheet.....I hve no axe to grind here at all as I hve never ever acted on his 'advice'...but would urge everyone to DYOR...its your hard earnt!
Whether JW likes it or not he is an “influencer” especially if people have had some success following him. He might caveat with “DYOR” but I think he has been sly on this stock. Clearly berated traders insisting he is an investor first, but now trading as he see fits
Great post and fully agree with what you say, Love his videos and they are educational and his tips are good, but he does condemn day traders, But he does trade his stocks, Calling it scaling back is trading and buying low.
Biggest issue with his tips, Everyone jumps in all at once sending the share price up and then when its up, No one else is buying and the price drops.
Off all of his Tips, Bids has to be his best tip and i am happy to hold without selling and will add more on results day because imo, even with a big drop after results, its all going to be up hill after that with nothing much to hold the SP back.
on another note, When the RSI was showing over bough on Bids, JW went out of his way to tell people not to sell, Not to buy either, Expected a few % drop but he does say not to buy in a riser SP, But then when he bought safestay, the rsi was over bought, he was telling people to buy.
I do like the bloke but he does look after number one.
