Gridz, I agree with you the history of bidstack leaves a lot to be desired. I got caught out in the initial hype - bought in at 34p, sold at 25p. Lost £6k. Learnt a lot. And since then, turned my remaining £8k into £6 figures (a lot more) trading in 2 years. So you could argue that that first loss on bidstack was my best ever trade. Anyway, I digress. The point you made about sentiment being at an all time low is interesting. And it’s right. But to me this presents a great buying opportunity. Not only will it be hard for sentiment to drop much lower, thus limiting potential downside, but it won’t take much to build back some of the hype and momentum that got us to those heady heights in the first place. Now, of course this relies on bids actually delivering results, which, if you are a glass half empty kinda guy, you’d be understandably wary, as in the past the bod have continually over promised and under delivered, however, and here’s my investment hypothesis, what if, all that time before it was just immaturity. JD didn’t have a clue what he was doing, just naive and excitable. But now he’s learnt his lessons, he’s got a good team around him, he’s been operating for several years and he’s got 2 years worth of cash. So if it’s going to work, it’s going to work now. Combined with sentiment being on the floor, for me that makes this a good buy where upside potential (maybe 3-5 bags) outweighs downside (maybe 50% tops if we slide to 1p). No one knows the answer but all we can do is make our best estimate of upside v downside risk. And until the landscape changes for better or worse, I think BIDs is a winner!
As soon as the deliberate de-ramping nonsense from Helx and Qwertyii stops - I’ll stop.
You have no idea what price I brought and what price I sold. And it makes no odds what I think other posters are doing here.
The above 2 points have ZERO to do with bidstack. Lets keep the chat to bidstack shall we, and not fill the forum with inane playground he said she said. tia
Yeah I knew yours was tongue in cheek - glad you stated it tho irrespective of that.
Gonna answer the question or gonna duck it like Helx?
Was good to see Qwerty’s attempt at a justification in light of his posting history - did make me chuckle.
Hahaha said with tongue in cheek
Should really have read good luck with your 10p by Xmas!!
You’re still deflecting away from my question to you Girdz.
I feel like you’re consumed by the negatives having been here a while - need to look at this company with a fresh pair of eyes from the current levels. There’s a lot of positives - in your own words ‘GLA 10p By Dec’ - I hope a lot sooner.
“As in investor I care that there are posters out there continually trashing BIDS on this forum, in many cases without any substance.”
There’s plenty of substance to “trash” bids.
You are just swimming against the tide at the minute.
You mocked jimmy stocks earlier for being a deramper, but you should go and find his post where he went through every seemingly meaningful RNS since 2019.
Nothing trashy, or deramping in it, purely looked at the RNSs objectively and considered what they meant for Bidstack. Once you can get your head round how often portrayed things all rosey, and mislead investors, you can see why sentiment is at an all time low.
You may have heard of the bidlievers forum created for chat about the company without the derampers.
The forum is dead now. So to me that says it all.
I’m after your opinion that’s all. It’s not unreasonable to ask this question of a fellow investor given that from what I can see, the MO of both Helx and Qwertyii is to squash any positivity (and not encourage others to form their own opinion - lol Qwertyii)
As in investor I care that there are posters out there continually trashing BIDS on this forum, in many cases without any substance.
It does matter what is posted on these boards as people are persuaded by flow of commentary which in turn has an impact on share price.
I agree - I’m looking forward to some more tangibles in terms of bidstack’s output.
I agree - everyone here is interested in seeing what bidstack can achieve and I hope that they follow through with some more positive updates further to the fund raise and recent agreements announced.
Why would I know that and more importantly Why would I care?
Does it really matter what is posted on these boards?
Does it really have an impact on share price.
Sentiment in Bidstack has nothing to do with forums rather the actions of the company itself.
Let’s see what Bidstack can do to change this.
We are all here interested to see if that can be achieved - think we can agree on that. And, I suppose, this answers your question.
Try answering my question to you Girdz. Why do you think Helx and Qwertyii post here in the manner that they do?
Terrible point - poorly made.
Try harder.
“Girdz - Helx - Qwertyii & yourself to name a few. “
You specifically named me first you weirdo.
Keep ramping though with your insider information.
You might get the sp up to 2.25p
Sounds like your insider track comes from Twitter. Good luck with that
Lol - absolute bull-crap - you’re full of it - and it’s transparent. Leave the board like you said you would do. Any yes - who in their right mind would want the share price to go down if they’re invested lol - the question you should be asking is who would stick around and comment when ‘all they can see is a bleak future’. Answer: those like you working for de-ramping outfits / intentions to spread the FUD. You guys need to be taken to task. Go tap your mates on the shoulder and ask them to respond to my question. Girdz at least has a brain even if it is negatively skewed.
Leave me out of this guille, I am here days , helx has been here years. You clearly are desperate for the price to rise and are trying to get more people to buy in. I am only asking investors to do there own research.
Yeah - he knows enough to have bought shares in bidstack at the wrong time and then winge about how crap everything still is. Couldn’t help but butt in there could you Girdz? Since you’re keen to defend - explain to me and the board what Helx and Qwertyii are up to?
I’m not trying to influence any one to do anything.
Sell, buy couldn’t give a flying ****.
What I don’t like is people like you painting a rosey picture of Bidstack when 2019 to date as pretty much been a **** show. Jimmy was invested and a firm believer in bids until this year, so critique him if you like but I’m sure he knows a damn sight more than you regarding this company.
Do I hold a grudge against Draper. Not particularly, but trust him at your peril.
Had Draper been replaced with a New CEO then maybe many peoples opinion of Bidstack May have changed.
10p at Xmas GLA
The number of staff & levels of staff expense was actually a criticism I levied here a few months back when I decided not to dip in. I'm quite happy for a few roles to to go tbh - don't think early scaling up with a large number of employees is the best route to sustainable growth.
Yes the factual evidence that a number of posters persistently de-ramp must be 'hot air'... - ignoring yourself for a moment (who I haven't had a prior tiff with), explain to me what the purpose of helx & Qwertyii 's comments are all about? You won't have an answer.
You have tripped yourself up there Guile. Anybody who sees my post history will see I was an investor and supporter for 2 years - I sold out in Feb when I saw this for what it was/is. So try again and address my point directly about staff turnover, instead of waffling on about hot air. You should get a job at bidstack.
You might do ok from 2p, so long as it is a short term thing. Might dive back in myself after H1 results (which I think will not be great, all eyes on the profit margin %) but will only be a short term flip flop.
lol Jimmy Spice - my 'de-ramper' comments are factually based upon the posting histories of:
Girdz - Helx - Qwertyii & yourself to name a few.
Your posting is there for all to see - every comment negative, every comment an attempt to undermine the company & scare off investors. It's a game which unfortunately you guys have been winning. Not for much longer. There is no logical reason for you to continue you posting here in the same fashion that you do unless you are deliberately attempting to influence others to sell (which is what you are all doing). It's a game played across all the boards - it's just depressing that as individuals you don't worry enough about what your conscience is telling you. What goes around comes around.
I'm here from 2p (after actually enquiring on the board a number of months ago about BIDS but not buying any at that point in time - wisely so). Lots to look forward to from these levels up.
" Good people get fed up working with lightweights "
but good people LOVE advising so called .... "lightweights" ...that is why Katherine attends a meeting there every so often .... if she had LESS advise on strategy than they had...why would they need her ? .....
Katherine isn't there full time or anything...she is just a Strategic Adviser... she gives her views and opinions..she takes her fee.... that is it... she does that with other companies too....
" Katherine currently serves as adviser and board member to early-stage companies in the sports and media, travel, esports and video gaming industry. She is mentor to hundreds of entrepreneurs ...."
She is mentor to hundreds of entrepreneurs ...... well there sounds like there is a long queue of "naff leaders" needing some coaching ... Jeff Bazos working from his garage trying to box up books and deliver them must have sounded super "naff" a couple of decades ago...
Mistake hiring him??
Don’t be so sure if that.
Instrumental in getting A chance in Ubisoft.
He can’t help if Draper’s arrogance fcuked it
Staff turnover is terrible. That isn't an opinion btw, based on fact. Look at the length of tenure all employees have, it makes grim reading. Recruitment has been terrible.
Anybody piping up with 'oh look at the negative deramper' well address my above point directly with any facts that prove what I've said is BS. I'll wait.
Agreed. Either he's no good in which he shouldn't have been hired or he's good and was promised the moon, but soon realises he's holding a piece of cheese. Either way it's back to the CEO. Where is Drapo anyway? A Govt money off token to Subway to the first person who sees him, in real life.
yeah - he's so good he's barely held a job down for more than two years in the last ten... mistake was hiring him in the first place.
Good people get fed up working with lightweights which is why they leave, obvious. I can't see Katherine Hays putting up with a charity bloke who's been out of the gaming market for over 5 years, a COO who's biggest ambition is to have breakfast with her (I kid you not, that is Lisa HauHau's dream!) and a recluse CEO. Where is Katherine? A good person is not going to put up with a naff leader for long, why should they, it is totally illogical.
