Hi PillartoPost.
games have been 'live' for over a year now on BIDS systems. The complete lack of revenue is not about the games and whether they are signed up, but about the complete lack of appetite with advertisers. Until the sector gets recognised by the global advertising body, and until marketing directors are convinced of the effectiveness of any money they may place with BIDS, they won't advertise. Even now, with lockdown, BIDS is still unable to issue any meaningful RNS saying 'actual revenues coming in' or similar. All we have had is 'interest' and other wording.
re the smoke and mirrors surrounding the AGM voting: I've just received notification from my holding in BIRD and they have simply put the voting in the RNS. 99.7 voted for the loss of pre-emptive voting rights at BIRD.
So ask yourselves this: Why is it that BIDS chose not to issue the voting results for the AGM.
It is an absolute disgrace, as well as a HUGE red flag, that the BoD of BIDS have deliberately withheld the results of the votes at the AGM; this is particularly insulting given that we were not allowed to attend. I strongly feel that BIDS need to issue the voting results of the AGM immediately. What are they hiding?
Anyone else have an opinion?
intrepid.
Nothing is safe to say until you have seen it in black and white via a RNS.
You should know that by now with BIDS!!
So with the codemasters tie up with dirt rally 4/ 5 and the new contract taking it to 2028 with wrc, would it be safe to say when all goes to plan bids could have a secure revenue stream for the next 8 years just from this one game?
Ah nice one! Well spotted.
