213 USD = 326 AusD unless you've done the conversion and quoted US dollar equivalent
so US is getting better price at moment on the USD-AUSD conversion.
I think ?
Yes getting cheap again. Still over $300 for Aussie metcoal , Chinese metcoal too (Mar contracts).
US metcoal seems to get the raw end of the deal pricewise. Shame they can't ship it to Australia and sell it on from there.
$213 getting close to that $205 breakeven
Not surprising for it to take more than one promising RNS to move the stock imho.
Stable to rising metprice and avani working in the interests of the co. now they have quite such an interest in doing so help rebuild some confidence going forwards I'd imagine.
Seems like good news today .... down 10%.... you could not make it up!
Bought a few today on the offchance this new development (and the saying goodbye to Adam) brings about a change in fortunes.
Will likely have to be patient but thats ok.
atb to the holders,
Agreed. I came to the conclusion they could deal with poor reliability re the trains or a lower than wanted coal price but not both which unfortunately seems to be what they've been faced with.
You need to ship product to realise revenue, irrespective of the price per tonne.
The coal needs to move.
Pretty sure they were saying in their vids that breakeven was around the $207-$210 mark but that was when they reached 50K tonnes/month.
Not sure what breakeven is before that level but presume from todays RNS they're not producing that yet.
Clearly not breaking even, yet another bail out from Avani
I seemed to recall from the last Presentation that the break even price for Met coal was said to be $191. So 220 odd still gives some headway?
Fat finger ---ing about once again!
How can this company s share price go from 10p to £1 and the drop to 4.5 p !!! Wtf has gone on !
Bomber, Thanks for your thoughts. Good luck and hopefully BC may interest you again.
I cant comment on CW, but as a company now, the bottom line now is "Met coal price" and the "ability to deliver" what we mine to our customers.
We've proved we can mine the stuff.
IF CW has the ability to work with NS, and as long as the Met coal price doesn't drop were making profit on what I believe is a 400KT order, it will be small but it may keep us going and the team employed.
If overheads can be trimmed all the better...but its really only about those 2 variables
Met Coal Price and Delivery.
I note its dropped a dollar again to 220 for Met Coal B !!!!!
GLA
Hi DropD, I made my decision based on a number of the links relating to the company, the fact that it's been going nowhere for quite sometime, the reviews on the company by investors, CW's experience and the comments on the comparably website especially that the company executives are rated in the bottom 20% of comparable companies. So the bottom 20% of executives not being related specifically to CW, but the overall executives being considered poorly.
Only my assessment and I could be completely wrong and I guess that time will tell all, but after selling last week at 6p and looking for a reason to rejoin, but I've been bitten so many times by similar companies I'm trying to use my gut feeling before reinvesting and potentially losing more money.
AIMHO and like most other private investors I'm definitely not qualified to advise others as to whether they invest in the company.
Good luck all, I might return if I see them improve operationally and strategically.
Bomber - thanks for sharing your humble opinion. What have you detected re CW, and what qualifies you to make your judgement?
And Chris Walker doesn't look any better imho :(
Yes AW will still be around, probably to collect more paychecks and possibly a bonus as reward for taking the sp from 1 quid to 5p
pathetic

Lets hope he has contacts leading to more trains............
Looks good.....Chris Walker....highly experienced.....they've moved fast ...noted AW will still be around to help the bedding in process....lets hope this positive moves the shareprice up now the uncertainty is over.
Cheers
