Sweden seems to be mired in inertia, politically, economically and it's reaction to covid. Deaths now exceed 4,500 in a population of just 10m and cases appear to still be climbing exponentially . Swedes cannot cross the borders of Denmark and Norway without quarantine for fear of spreading the virus. When relaxed becomes complacent even the Swedes might push for change.
Thanks Rickmeister.
So it seems not much will happen to share price for sometime
Translation herewith. Perfect politician speak. Answer to question 2019/20:1382 by Lars Hjälmered (M)
The permit trial for Kallak and Laver
Lars Hjälmered has asked me when i and the government intend to make the request **** about possible mining in Kallak and Laver.
The cases concerning the applied processing concessions for the kallak K No. 1 areas in Jokkmokk municipality and Laver K No. 1 in Älvsbyn municipality contain extensive documentation with several complex issues, such as trade-offs according to the Environmental Code between several different national interests. This obviously affects the length of proceedings.
However, the starting point for the government's handling is always that it should be done quickly, efficiently and without any legal certainty being followed. I cannot comment further at this time on when the dossiers are sufficiently prepared so that the request**** can be taken.

Lol.
Hi Oaktree. Hastyretreat posted a link to it a couple of pages back, but this is it in Swedish. Just needs a Google translate:

Ibrahim Baylan
Morning all. Kurt can't have been surprised by Baylan's reply to the ministerial question. It's more of the same unspecific fudge, lacking the necessary clarity that we need. Time to press Baylan further then, pointing to his latest response as a continuation of what is wholly unacceptable for any business trying its utmost to invest in Sweden. Nobody has been able to state where our application falls short, because it mustn't, and we legally merit the grant of a concession licence. Let's have it then Baylan. If we upset a few people in gaining a concession then that is too bad, as obviously the decision can be backed to the hilt by the very application of the law.
Is it on the trolley? Can you point at it? Yes!
I am old enough to remember when our media was extolling the virtue of Swedish handling of the coronavirus ! The deceit surrounding this government fills me with contempt. I do hate admitting it but lbjj has been proved right all along.
Sorry, I’ve come in late, is there a transcript of what Baylan announced? I have to say, I was surprised there was any lift in the first place and even more surprised that Swedes are buying this share. They know how inept their own government is...look at latest covid results.
Like everyone, I’m just blown away that this is how a country can operate...even Africa would have ore coming out of the ground by now...!!! Good luck to the patient resilient BEM investor, there ought to be verb coined out of this...to BEMster is to draw out or protract negotiations in the hope that all involved die before offering a conclusion...then you can start it all again with a new generation...?!?
