Only guessing you mean my comment about a former adviser to annie loof putting the pressure on Baylan about his failings ? The drift of young people away from the area due to lack of opportunities apart from reindeer herdinh should be shouted using a loud hailer and Kurt should be feeding her facts.
Only other comment I have made is about unspoken agendas but that must be obvious to anyone.
Nighty me lovely. Yes, I think I know the Treetop post, the one re process clarity. Unless that's another beauty. Lol.
Can't wait now, to see what he says.
:-)
PS Treetop...I'm thinking of the one beginning with s and s. ;-)
Evening Eric. We'd like to know the reason why...there are good reasons and bad reasons from our point of view and I'm trusting and hoping it's one of the possible good reasons suggested a few weeks ago by Treetop. If he want's to suggest it again I'll leave it to him. Sigh.
Nighty night me 'andsome. x
Cherry pie, now you're talkin'. Lovely.
I know what you mean. It's so tedious without any news again on our primary asset. We at least know where the application is stuck this time. Somewhere new. Lol. Not a lot we can do, but Kurt could press the Government to chase up UNESCO. Don't mess about, write straight to the PM and mention the KU findings and our continuing struggle to see fair treatment even now. No timescale for UNESCO's comments etc with nobody Governmental apparently bothered.
Remember when our application went back to the Government for the second time (think it was) and then interested parties were invited to comment? Everyone had a set time by which to do so, (obviously the Government then sat on everything for over three years afterwards, lol) but why should UNESCO not also have been given a timeframe during which to give its comments?
Kurt, on the face of it, is not all over this latest UNESCO delaying ploy like a rash, insofar as it at least seems to be a ploy, but secretly I naturally hope and trust that he is.
I'm no legal expert, but it also seems Baylan must be light in the toe department, having almost shot off both of his own feet.
Howl.
Eric - more than happy to eat any pie, although I'd prefer a cherry one.
We all want this to come good, but at this point in time something has got to give.
Lol, yes Sooz, we don't know what the Government has exactly said to or asked of UNESCO do we? Kurt hasn't told us, so we don't know whether he knows either. The precise wording of the Government referral.
Fiddlesticks.
Hasty, I feel your post is pretty fair at this point. I would hope that, like myself, you would be more than happy to eat humble pie if it just so happens that Kurt is actually super busy working on a massive deal or deals for us, hence the reason perhaps for him not replying to shareholders' emails of late.
I'm kind of fighting his corner, but I too have doubts, because I don't have the information present that would alleviate my frustrations. Without news we obviously tend to drift towards the negative, especially when we have been waiting for something specific to be concluded for what seems like a lifetime.
I do feel we need an update on Kallak. But is Kurt able to do that right now? Dunno.
Atb.
My thoughts entirely Hastyretreat .
The point is not accept things as they are Suzy and hold Kurt to account. We are all exasperated with this but the simple fact is Kurt and Littorin are too quiet and defending him no matter what he does or doesn't do just doesn't cut it. Kurt is still not delivering and the radio silence is unacceptable. Shareholders are being taken for granted by Kurt and a state of play RNS is needed asap, or at the very least a chat with Rosie at BRM.
The odd titbit of info leaked to individual shareholders about sending the odd email to UNESCO is quite frankly amateur hour.
Kurt must read the boards here and Avanza and how scathing, especially the Swedes are, towards BEMs seeming innaction. It is no wonder Baylan treats BEM the way he does - because he know he can and Kurt has done nothing to make him change his mind.
I am beginning to wonder if I am more exasperated with Kurt than Baylan, as Baylan is getting an easy ride. 3 years doing nothing with our application whilst Kurt was expecting answers by the summer of 2018. Add another 6 months onto this with UNESCO and it is clear that Baylan is doing Kurt like a kipper...again!
3-card. "A simple response to a simple question." Lol. And what was the question?
Aug. The Moderates will team up with the Sweden Democrats and that makes them a real threat. Does it mean anything...I dunno. Lol. atb.
Morning All. Ibjj. Absolutely, couldn't agree with you more and I don't persecute heretics, I was born a heretic and I've continued to be a heretic all my life. If you believe as you state so often in free speech why are you so indignant when I disagree with you? It's a disagreement, that's all; a disagreement's not the end of the world, it doesn't mean I hate you does it. 3-card...Why blame me, I'm only stating the facts, Baylan wanted a further delay for whatever reason and UNESCO was a good choice to get it. I hoped as everyone else did there would be a swift response but I doubted it...swift isn't on the agenda. Those of us who have been here for more than 10 years know the score far better than the new comers and that's with no disrespect to them. Sun's shining... and I'm off out. Have a good weekend. xxx
3cardbrag,
I said 6 months ago that the referral would be many months without reply as UNESCO is yet another lumbering and ineffective, money consuming bureaucracy.
As always, my “ negativity “ was deemed heretical by the like is Suzy2.
Why else would Baylan do it?
I agree with you thoughts 3card..Accepting to do nothing for another year to the next election would not be acceptable. I also sent a note to Kurt requesting an update for shareholders but no reply.
Suzy. Re "there's an election next year and the Moderates are currently doing well in the opinion polls "
Are you suggesting you would be prepared to wait until then with no legal action?
Hope you don't think I'm focusing just on your posts. Just slowly catching up on LSE after a day off.
Suzy re "We all knew the UNESCO move wouldn't be quick which is why we were aghast"
Did we? I don't recall ever thinking that 6 months down the track we would be no nearer to receiving a simple response to a relatively simple question.
And yet absolutely nothing appears to be happening and in the absence of any comment whatsoever from Kurt, I think it's entirely reasonable for LSSs to shout and stamp their feet in sheer frustration.
Hi Sooz, thanks. Yes, maybe news next week eh?
I've loved the Spring too. My garden seems to have new bushes growing in it, and I didn't plant anything new, lol, but also tiny white flowers have appeared on one of my trees, which doesn't usually occur, but I'm happy that it has.
Maybe the wind it be blowin' seeds and spores all settley settley. Lol.
Enjoy the sunshine. x
Suzy
Your active pumping away lol
Hello. Nice to hear your thoughts Eric...we're all nearly at the end of our tether I know. Maybe something next week. Have a nice weekend, I'm going to work in my garden. It's been a beautiful spring don't you think...I just gape at it sometimes and think to myself...wow just look at that. Lol.
Afty Eve. x
Sooz, I'm trusting Kurt isn't just sitting and waiting for UNESCO to pass its comments to the Government, as in, like we shareholders are. If he is, I'll be very disappointed. Therefore, presuming he isn't, he could give us an update on the state of play with UNESCO, why the delay etc, and, what he is doing to move things along.
Only a few thoughts.
I
Can't be sure can I, I just hope...there's an election next year and the Moderates are currently doing well in the opinion polls and catching up with S.
Well...that's positive! We're all desperately frustrated Hasty but until the response is received from UNESCO everything is on hold and there's nothing anybody can do about it. I mean, what's there to be done given that's the situation...we could shout and stamp our feet, etc but we're already doing that. We all knew the UNESCO move wouldn't be quick which is why we were aghast at it...but how slow can it be...the Opposition are watching it I'm sure.
It is a sorry state of affairs that after so long we only really expect news on the side projects. What an exciting year 2021 is turning out to be for bem!
We hear from Kurt every 5 minutes when he wants cash but chuff all from him or the waste of space disgraced ex minister Littorin. Not even a peep from his buddies at BRM media - things must be bad.
