Thanks Roller, and enjoy your evening too. I'm not sure how many more years of this I can manage, or want to, so have to see what the next few months of news here does for me. Best of luck to us, and to Kurt.
Well said Eric, I'm on board until the end regardless... have a lovely evening..
Fair comments. What I would say Roller is that Kurt has said he will do better, so he knows he needs to improve his performance for us. The finer details are lacking in much of the RNS news, usually general updates about what we are trying to do, but it does seem there is a lot happening now we’ve received the concession. My concern is the financing, as I’ve said. It was mentioned by another poster that it isn’t Kurt’s job to be a cheerleader for the sp, but it is really, in my view, particularly when it comes down to the nitty-gritty of raising money. Less dilution every time, if the funds are raised at a high sp. Hence why I’m more concerned now this has slipped back into the 5/6p zone. News from neither Kosovo nor Finland ever yet having any real impact on the sp either, so a breakthrough must be sought by Kurt to ensure this is not the case going forward. I feel surprised and let down by his RNS releases since we gained this concession, although I was wrong perhaps to expect more in terms of him having a specific plan and finance/partner ready to go pending the concession green light, but the next six months is important for me, to see how well Kurt can now cope with having this concession in the bag and what he does with it. I don’t feel many of us would have expected the sp to be languishing at these levels again, with a concession and massive prospects partially unlocked (environmental permit considered), but I want him to stay and sort this out for us. Our current position remains somewhat of an enigma, but it’s his responsibility to improve the state of play for shareholders, and with timescales for doing so.
Have to see, but I don’t want him to go, I just want better from him and he is working on it, by his own admission, so he has my support.
Even though I’m lacking in enthusiasm due to my concerns re finance and with how the sp started to retreat immediately upon what should have been our best news ever.
Lb does make some very valid points, which people don’t always like to read. Sometimes it’s about how he makes those points though I feel, rather than the points themselves. Not a problem for me of course, I welcome his contribution, as I’m pretty much past caring. Lol.
Eric we seem to do way to much waiting around for information and when we get it it is always vague and wishy-washy, as stated I am heavily invested..too heavily judging by the way things are so I do want this to be a success. The sycophants among us will defend Kurt regardless but the level headed investors are surely concerned about the state of play and dare I say is Kurt qualified for this ?? lbjj gets a lot of flack from the sycophants but he always gets much support from as stated the level headed umonst us, I hope this comes good but Kurt in my opinion has to go... have a lovely evening.
Roller, we are drilling in Kosovo, so have those results to come. Also a Scoping Study and then PFS at Kal. Finance/Partner being the unknowns. My fingers are crossed that shareholders are considered with any fundraise. Kurt had the chance to raise cash when this was in the teens, so I do not wish to see the usual type of heavily discounted fundraise now the sp is once again poor, and also now we have gained the mining concession. That must be utilised as a bargaining chip. I am concerned about how this all feels to me, as obviously the sp has not been addressed by Kurt, 70% roughly wiped off it since the concession was granted. So I'm concerned that existing shareholders could get fleeced for our loyalty, in order to get the project moving. My thoughts only.
1965Kevin... Just been reading up on the families mining projects... Very interesting and rather colourful.
Probably someone who lost money in dealing with his father or his uncle ! Plenty did
"in my opinion", yep, and we all remember that you never thought that the company would get an yes on their concession application, so that's how much your opinion is worth.
"does not have the necessary environmental permit", wow, yes, that's indeed scandalous, since the concession has been there for a whole eight weeks :)
Mr. Broken Record, fueled by some weird hatred of Kurt Budge.
It’ll be slow for a couple of years, minimum, in my opinion.
The “how” as always was absent from Budge’s update, with no mention of financing.
Bringing forward the building and commissioning of a mine at Kallak sounds good, but how is it going to be achieved and how is it to be paid for?
The company does not yet have the necessary environmental permit, which was glossed over.
Also the drilling campaign cancelled 2 years ago because of Covid ( which was nonsense ) has also not been timetabled.
Maybe he and Sven are nipping down to B & Q to buy a couple of shovels?
If Budge had presented what he said to a bank in order to justify a loan, he’d be laughed out of the office.
This project needs some serious technical and financial muscle, sadly lacking from Beowulf and it’s half a dozen employees.
I'm guessing Kurt's presentation and Thor's radio interview yesterday hasn't installed much faith in the investors... Going to be a long slow year..and believe me I hope I'm wrong..GLA
