Hi Alan. I can see why it would be liberating for you, then putting the cash towards a very good cause. You did the right thing. Best wishes.
oh dear Eric I feel so sorry for you ,I’m so pleased I sold most of my shares here it’s kind of liberated me and although I still hold a million the price no longer concerns me , it was never going to come right because of my advanced years ,good luck to you ,
Not having a red bottom is always welcome Hasty. Lol.
At least we have had two days without any red here Eric. Dare we call it the bottom?
Hasty, yep, the sp is getting me down matey, but we can't do anything about it. Just have to wait for a reversal.
Tak, thank you for the reply. It seems to me that many shareholders are looking for better here, but whereas posting positively all the time doesn't seem warranted, neither does continually posting negatively. I remain invested and am willing to back Kurt to see what he can do for us now that we have the concession. We already know that a new boss for JIMAB is being sought, one who will hopefully have those top credentials of which you speak. We all know about how outstanding the Kal deposit is, so no reason why it won't be able to attract the best person to run the project. As for Kosovo, no, the sp possibly won't move on good drilling news, but it is early days, I'm just looking for decent progress and promising results from the drilled targets. As ever, have to see.
Why do you hope I'm a better person in real life...this is real life so far as I'm concerned and I'm just saying that I support the CEO of the company I'm invested in. You make a point of not supporting him...how does that make you a better person than me? The main thing about your posts that I don't like Takayama is not that you have the opinion you have and that it's different to mine (it must have been the same as mine on occasions that you bought shares here and I think you've said you have)...it's the way your point is made in an indirect, not straightforward way.
Suzy - I have to admit I find your approach to people who don't 'support your investment' on this bulletin board a bit odd. We're all quite equal here, with different points of view. I don't know why you're so aggressive to people with different pov. This board makes zero difference to the share price. The SP doesn't go down because someone presents a different pov. That's not how share markets work. I think you are doing yourself a disservice by your attitude. I'm sure you're a better person than you come across on this board. I hope you're a better person in real life for your own sake.
Taka used to hold shares and hopefully got out at 20p - so what if he isn't holding at the moment. More fool us for keeping hold as 8 weeks on from good news and 75% value has gone. You could argue that Taka has already voted by selling up!
The points I'd make are that the Concession Award was only given eight weeks ago and there remains uncertainty about an appeal. There's a lot of work to be done and it's a scary situation. Takayama says the AGMs are pretty tame affairs...but you don't get to vote if you haven't got any shares, do you. I've got a lot just for the record and I do get to vote.
Just saying.
Suzy - it is a valid point that Taka brings. 7 Years on and the first concession in Sweden, which should be seismic for us, yet the sp is lower now that 15 years ago.
And what is your experience, Takayama...your expertise in bringing mines to production...do tell us.
Eric - no I'm not invested. But I'm still interested in the concession (so yes, I'm on the wings). I'm not sure why posting 'something of value' means that I should only post things 'to protect the investment'. There are all sorts of people that look at this board and from where I'm sitting, the value of these boards go up when they are more honest about the company. I'm afraid that may include putting up things which some people deem negative. Just posting things that are positive is misleading. AIM companies rely on so many factors. News of drilling in Kosovo for a small exploration company, is, I'm guessing, unlikely to move the SP. There were four trades today on AIM for BEM. That should tell you a lot about how interested people are. Getting a new stellar CEO with a track record of bringing mines to production and profit, however, is (in my experience) likely to move the SP. We know that AGMs are pretty passive affairs.
I hope you are right Eric - the daily Red is becoming tedious
We surely must be in line for an update on the Kosovo drilling before long, to see if that brings us a bit of joy.
I see Pocko.
It's known as the 'Hero' complex EricDraven... There's few posters suffering from it.
Symptoms include:
1. Posing as a good Samaritan - Warning the of the perils of investing on AIM.
2. Repeatedly posting the same negative (Often obvious) opinions.
3. Posting on BB on companies in which they are not invested.
4. Posting opinion based pieces as 'Facts'.
5. Adding little 'backstories' to their posts to increase credibility.
It's truly a mystery and spoils what was once an informative board. No one needs an Echo chamber, but post something of value, or don't post at all.
Thanks Andy.
Sooz, lol.
Tak. Just as well you weren't being condescending in your last post eh?
Tak, thanks for your concern. Interesting post. Are you currently invested here at the moment then or just watching in the wings?
Thanks for the links Andy

"It's a small exploration company hanging by a thread."
I disagree.
Today's article in DN, biggest Swedish newspaper:
https://www.dn.se/ekonomi/beowulfs-vd-vi-maste-respektera-samers-rattigheter/
Sometimes the story is about the company and sometimes it is about the people who have invested in the company. I'm happy to bare all and say I've lost money in the past investing. 'Keeping the faith' is great on bulletin boards like this, especially when a share price drifts down and down, but sometimes you need to look at reality. There was the expectation on this board that there'd be some value added to the company when it got the licence, and well, the markets didn't agree. And why didn't they? Because of risk. The risk the company doesn't deliver. That's the bottom line. This isn't Anglo American with hundreds of millions in the bank. It's a small exploration company hanging by a thread. And when the thread is just about to snap, a big company steps in and buys it all for a song. Seen it before and will see it again. There's no doubting Kurt's mining credentials. And the value of the asset. But those don't make a world beating mining company. It's being able to play the politics of the square mile, to get people on board, to mitigate risks of the whole thing being turned over in an appeal court a few months down the line by getting the opposition on board. The potential HAS been priced in. Don't kid yourselves that you're smart and have spotted something that others haven't. BEM's a nice company and you're nice people (on the whole, I'm sure I'd buy you a drink down the golf club), but you're going to be waiting some time for the mine to come. It will, but not many people think Kurt is the guy that's going to deliver it. Unfortunately. And that's why the SP is low. Anyway, good luck guys.
