You got a recommend from me for your musings, Pocko, well said.
Best wishes Berton.
Yes, you are right Pocko.
And EricDraven, by submiting to 'the process', BEM is by the very definition, seeking to have the law applied.
Notwithstanding the fact that the initial exploitation application was submitted in April 2013 - Approximately 12-months before KB joined Beowulf Mining. KB has been a steady hand, and always professional. I'm not seeking to criticize him per se, but he is paid to deliver results. And results are best measured by the SP.
Forgot to thank John the Golf Hasty lbj and UncleMal et al for all your opinions and I can quite understand why sometimes people lose their rag on here. Us longterm shareholders have been badly treated. Just saying
Well said P:ocko. An excellent summary of the position of BEM. I hope Kurt reads these messages. I assumed Kurt was quietly beavering away behind the scenes, for the last 8 years. But has he? Thank you Andy Eric FS23 Suzy Tin Tin for all your input. Good luck everybody and one day Rodney!
The law is there Pocko, we just haven’t sought to have it applied, so I agree re the establishment and BEM being caught up in Swedish politics. This should never have occurred.
Just a minor point, but to date, it's been the lawmakers and establishment that have been our adversaries. The rule of law has hardly been our friend!
Good point Sooz about our adversaries. The rule of law then becomes more important, considering the fabricated stories that can emerge about us.
Pocko, fair comments. We shouldn't be left to wonder for long periods of time just what is happening on each project. How close are we to submitting the environmental permit application? Bearing in mind the concession award was now a few months ago. We aren't being kept informed about progress, or the reasons for lack thereof, anywhere near well enough. For reasons unknown though, that's also where we are left guessing. Hence no upwards sp momentum, only the opposite since the concession decision. It is wholly frustrating.
PS Let's do the glad game then and be thankful we've also got friends, the Mayor for one and more than one Member of the Riksdag. ;-)
Pocko. Trouble is our problem is a very difficult one, we have adversaries and there's not a lot we can do about it, people believe what they want to believe. It has been said by those who are against us that the environmental requirements are more than we can deliver; so maybe we must wait for the independent judgement of the environmental court to vindicate us...because the Company's Mission Statement wont cut it. I'm not defending Kurt, why should I...just my sincere opinion.
News flow, PR, Investor Relations, Communication, or Public relations... Call it what you will. But unfortunately, communicating your message to the market is essential, and at this juncture, Beowulf Mining PLC is sadly lacking.
Now, it might be that there is simply nothing to communicate, which in itself should be a worry for investors if, as proclaimed by KB, Beowulf is active in several business areas.
Likewise, if there is genuinely nothing to communicate to investors, then it's prudent when trying to build a sustainable business, not to simply feed the market a line (Plenty of Oilers and Frackers would fall into this category). This leads to a volatile SP, and usually Private Investors being burnt and losing faith in the business. But we shouldn't have to second guess every RNS.
Like it or not, the share price is indicative of the value the market attributes to the business. Should a CEO not address the significant decline in shareholder value?
Likewise, should the CEO not actively address the market abuse suffered by Beowulf Mining PLC on the Swedish exchange as a consequence of market sensitive information being leaked by various Government Agencies?
And in that vein, numerous false news articles have been published in the Swedish media, which the Board has failed to address. Of course, it be wholly impractical to challenge everything, and BEM has never been litigious. But positive PR could be deployed in some circumstances? Surely...
This business is currently suffering from 'Project Drift'. Deadlines can of course be a double-edged sword, but without a deadline to meet, how can the market judge progress? If you instruct a company to complete pre-feasibility work on your behalf, would you not insist on a deadline?
When the drills were active at Kallak, or at least we thought they were active, who recalls when it transpired that drilling had been halted, and yet we were not informed? Would it not be useful to have an update from Kosovo?
Finland looks to be an exciting project, but should we not be updated?
Just a few musings...
