johnpwh You say they were quite helpful, can you share the advice you were given?
Hi Mangs, as mentioned previously I phoned Link and in the pre recorded preamble I heard that they only deal with Crest and that you need investor number or some other number etc. I nearly hung up but decided to wait until someone answered - and when they did I explained it was a nominee arrangement - they didn't tell me to sling my hook, in fact they were helpful.
You contact the team and they just tell you the offer is closed.
I tried calling them again today after not receiving a call back from the corporate actions team as promised last week. They claim they haven’t sent us the offer as BCN haven’t given them clear instruction as of yet. I asked why all the other brokers contacted their clients months back. Supposedly they all have different ways in which they hold their shares which is the difference in when they can communicate to their clients; made little sense to me.
Also tried contacting Link for advice, but they only deal with crest and not nominee holders.

Has anyone had any success with IG?
Ii have just posted new corporate action do nothing and keep shares in private company or accept cash offer at 67.5 pence payment due on receipt.
O dear tomcat, I'm obviously so .stressed by it I went searching for something that was under my nose.
A profit for the BOD, but surely there must me more than this in it for them. This bid was inadequate, the price of Lithium/ Lithium products is up by 50% since the bid was first made?
it states the purchase price on the rns…
Exercising of Options. The Directors are the recipients of this nice little earner:
Secker 421,288
Hohnen 330,940
Carter 1,133,369
Blas 1,106,004
Total 2,991,601, value £2,019,331 plus the attaching ZNWD shares since the options were exercised December 17th. I cant find how much they paid for the options, as a quick search turned up 'page not available' . Convenient. But lets put it this way, the options wouldn't have been exercised if it weren't worthwhile. Guess it beats a brown envelope?
Same here John.
Now await my cash?
yep… mine have arrived too… credited at nil cost on 20dec… which does wonders to my zinnwald average… ;)
Ok Manj, its just that mine have arrived, assumed that everyone at iWeb would now be credited. Wonder how efficient they will be in crediting the cash. I won't hold my breath!
I can only repeat there quote John that the shares would be in my account tomorrow.
I heard from iWeb that there might be one more corporate action to accept the offer....
iWeb have finally credited the ZNWD shares. Whoop, whoop.
Thanks MANJ. did you contact them? Did they say when they might actually put the ZNWD shares in the account?!!
To all IWEB clients who accepted the offer before the deadline.
"shares will be with you by tomorrow, we are still waiting for the money to come to us"
(a) Would be good, but IG sticking by the offer is now closed!
This may help some on here:
HL and II have credited ZNWD shares to my accounts on wednesday 22nd BUT AJBell have not yet done so. I was told this was because there is a reconciliation difference between the number of ZNWD shares AJBell received for their clients and the number they think they should have received. This is being worked on with BCN's brokers at the moment. It might be the same issue with some of the other brokers mentioned in this thread. It will get sorted in due course but it is irritating if you were looking to sell your ZNWD (albeit price rose a bit between wednesday and friday last week!)
Re BCN shares - If you have not accepted the offer then as far as I am aware you can either (a) accept the 67.5p offer via your broker [Corporate Actions?] or (b) sell them on the open market as normal [presently at c67p] or (c) do nothing and hold out as a minority shareholder in what will by February become an unlisted / untraded share with little or no liquidity and hope Ganfeng eventually make you a tasty offer to get rid of you. Not many private Investors would find (c) appealing
For those that accepted by the original deadline - proceeds expected by 31 December.
No doubt someone will correct me if/where I am wrong. Happy new year all.
nothing with halifax yet - hopefully soon?
Need to do some research on Zinwald - and decide if to hang on to them
BCN- DONE AND Dusted , 8Years wast of time and high hopes.
have Anyone with BARCLAYS received ZNWD yet? seems they taking time or its just Christmas time ?
Not much difference, a penny or so if it opens at the closing price from Christmas Eve. To be honest I don't know if they are still trading, have seen some comments about suspension but I accepted so not following closely. Maybe someone else will reply.
Anyone with Halifax? Can I still accept? If I sell on open market what's the main difference. Please help I haven't been keeping upto date.
"CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION TO TRADING ON AIM ."
I received the above message from my corporate action team today. I believe it concerns my shares and not all BCN shares. Last milestone -money in the account and the end of a 7-year investment adventure. I had a reasonable return but it could be much better with a better bod.
