Its not about neccesarily conflicting views, its about suspicious posters cropping up from nowhere claiming to be experts on a share many posters have been in for 4 or 5 years..
Pot, kettle and all that chameleon. I see you have a similar issue with someone named Jonners on the other board amd ou react the exact same as those on this board. Somewhat hypocritical but hey.
Its fairly simple, if you want people to listen to a different opinion don't base it on nonsense. Other than that I am personally happy to listen to a reasoned, factual viewpoint.
All the best.
This feels more like a game of tag wrestling than investing! You guys are so suspicious of anyone whose opinion doesn’t chime with yours! I should be more suspicious of Ganfeng and their devious plan for world domination of the lithium supply market! Time will tell.
If Trisse is that astute, which may well be the case, I don't think our view that their post was factually wrong and probably purposefully misleading would impact their investment decisions.
Anyway, enough said. Each to their own. I am very confident here so that's the main thing. Happy to hear others opinions provided they evidence some actual truth lol.
Ngt
If you are not trisse but know loads about him then does it mean you two are a team ?
Anyway the posts trisse has done are just rubbish and designed to de-ramp so he can get in lower with his significant resources !
You certainly seem to know a lot about him and his gigantic funds...
Lol
Citizenlane, I am not Trisse but wish I had his investment portfolio! I don’t know if he is invested here but I am and seem to be one of the few people who has actually booked a substantial profit and now has free carry shares to let run until I cash them in. I am therefore keen that BCN should attract new investors. It’s therefore not very constructive for posters to mob the likes of Trisse who has enormous funds at his disposal. By all means correct any perceived misunderstandings with reasoned arguments but do try to avoid alienating major potential investors with personal slights?
Quality de-ramping going on here !
Ah right haha. Paranoia ;)
i wasn’t lolling at you fuku... it was the 80% had me in stitches...
Several of my AIM shares are very active in a positive way at the moment, and on all of them some 'never before seen' posters are flooding the boards with positive or negative mis-information for reason of self-enrichment is certain. Its just part of the AIM discussion board landscape.
Agreed, they are not looking for a quick buck.
Also re the option for the additional 27.5% thats exactly what I said...project level, at sp at the time.
So you are saying exactly as I said. Or were you simply just being more to the point than my drivel?
I was just giving context...
i thought ganfengs intentions for sonora were quite clear in the rns... i don’t think they’re looking for a quick return from the lil pilot project...
Mr Wang Xiaoshen, the Deputy Chairman of GFL, commented: "Our proposed investment in Bacanora Lithium and the Sonora Lithium Project would form a cornerstone in Ganfeng's growth strategy to become the world's largest lithium producer. Specifically, the Sonora deposit is large and scalable, with low operating costs. We look forward to working closely with the Bacanora team to realise Sonora's potential and bring into production the world's first lithium clay project."...
Tomcat. My point is Ganfeng don't currently magically get given the majority of the earnings at the Sonora project. Which is what Trisse was alluding to..
Ganfeng only paid for 22.5% directly at sonora project level however they slice and dice the subsiduary paperwork.
The 29.99% Strategic Investment was subscribed in return for equity interest in Bacanora.
So currently other than the 22.5% they will gain, alongside all other shareholders, for any earning at Sonora project level. But they will also be looking to increase production, and this is more likely to be swifter with them on board. So I anticipate BCN shareholders will all benefit from the aspirations and capability Ganfeng bring to the table.
and they haven’t even disclosed which subsidiary company it is that ganfeng are farming into yet... so no-one knows how much lithium... if any... is included in the deal...
lol... it’s 22.5% of the project... and 30% of the parent... for a total of 45% interest in the project... the other 27.5% of the project is at the then bcn sp... which could remove the need for an equity placing... or fund the stage-2 earlier than is planned in the fs...
Correction *assume you're NOT invested in*
I am totally open to other opinion.
However commenting on the share board of a company that I assume you are invested in, but that sits in the same sector as one you are invested in, and posting non factual negative info does appear pretty low on face value. You would certainly be more mindful of the factual nature of your post if deciding to do so.
Trisse may well have great knowledge and be respected on other boards but I am pretty sure he/she wouldn't have posted here today had we not had a good run lately.
Its effectively an attempt to mislead negatively in this investment and market the one you own for your own self serving gain and IMO its no coincidence. I wouldn't dream of doing the same to your investment, irrespective of why I may have NOT chosen to invest in it.
Ganfeng have nowhere near the current interest you suggest they do in the Sonora project. They became a cornerstone investor and were issued stock, just like we hold, just below the takeover threshold.
At the Sonora project level its only 22.5%! Albeit I agree a very great price. They will have to contribute more money towards the capital costs of this project beyond that initially paid. Also, lets face it, they will push the project output targets to higher levels and thereby our income levels far sooner than bcn would have done on their own. They bring more than just the cash to the table here which you well know.
If Ganfeng decide to take their right and increase the project level investment to 50% within the 24 months . The valuation of any additional investment in the Project Level Company by GFL would be based on the share price of Bacanora at the time of the additional purchase.
So in not so short terms, they hold nowhere near the project level you suggest Trisse, and they will contribute a whole lot more than just at face value. They will ramp this production up no end. We are barely scratching the surface of the resources at Sonora but I think you know all this.
All the best with your investment though. Kind regards.
MrChameleon, you clearly are also Trisse, which makes your endorsement, um, slightly less useful
Re Trisse, there is a difference between being a very significant investor in lithium and a very successful one, SAV being one example at the moment.
Agree even if Ganfeng did get a bargain, which they did, this price is still very cheap and totally plenty of substantial return potential for private investors. Besides Ganfeng are a great partner and as it has been said before, they a re committed to funding their share at project level. They are a great partner that seriously derisk this going to production, increasing capacity and reducing capital costs/time. Zinnwald is being spun off to realise additional value to bcn shareholders. Personally, IMO, I think this is a great investment at these levels.
You trust him.? Did you see his maths for BCN NPV today? That's not cold water, that's someone whose spouting absolute drivel. Short of BCN going it alone, which is impossible, they always had to get a partner involved...the full mechanics of the deal and cap ex cost savings and early production they bring to the table are still unknowns. And at 37p, it's hardly the time to be casting doubt on value. As I said earlier, explorer to producer is a different ball game and not many make it...
Personally I value Trisse’s input as a very significant investor in the lithium sector. Sometimes a splash of cold water can be a wake-up call? I believe there is still money to be made by private investors in BCN but the upper limit has been greatly reduced by the Gangfeng deal as Trisse has pointed out.
