I've not been following this as well as I should, I thought accepting the ZNWD bonus was the bribe that meant we accepted the Ganfeng take over. I hadn't agreed to either and was surprised to see I have been given the ZNWD share bonus. When will BCN now be de-listed and what happens next to our BCN shares for those of us that haven't accepted the Ganfeng buy out offer?
Me too. I'm on ii.
Awaymag
Lucky you! I'm still waiting.
To be honest, despite like you hoping for more here, at the end of the day a profit is a profit. I have plenty of losses in my investing/gambling history. I hasten to add that the usage of investing/gambling both refer to the Stock Market. I don't do betting as such ever, I'm far too boring.
Others will disagree I'm sure, but I do feel a sense of relief. Sonora is not somewhere I'd go on my holidays with the threat of crime there, which is apparently real from my research due in part from its proximity to the US border. I have no doubt that GF will manage that risk through the sort of force that western nations are unable to. Plus inevitable cost escalation in the project and potential delays - when you are a decrepit old ****er like me, well, you really don't years of worry.
Might go and buy that Caterham 7 now, relive the time in my 20s when I was young and gorgeous. Trouble is I might not fit in one now.
Come on mr c your better than that…you seriously asking why got znwd shares?
Looks like I'm staying in after all!
I just logged into my share account to find the deadline was midnight last night! Bugger!
don’t worry… you won’t have to give them back… all shareholders are getting them…
I havent accepted but still got the ZNWD shares ????
John znwd fundraise was 100% underwritten by maxy Henry. He allowed a certain amount to be taken off him but kept a minimum. It’s undersubscribed as I expect people like you and I waiting on our stock here and bcn cash
Hi Mr C
No, I didn't see it either , but then again I wasn't looking as at the time I wasn't a ZNWD S/H.
I bought a holding a couple of days back at 13.8p so glad I didn't! Bit like the BCN issue in May (or April), that RNS sneaked in about 6pm from memory, well after the Market close. Again I think those who missed it benefitted.
Think I'm right in saying that the Zinwald fundraise was undersubscribed or barely subscribed?
Hopefully when Secker resigns or is kicked off the ZNWD BOD the SP there will leap! It certainly should if there is a god.
Hi, I used ii and the ZNWD shares appeared in my portfolio last night. Just wondering when they will buy the BCN shares off me? Anyone know?
I came out 33% profit but before the takeover I was hoping for 100%. We have been shafted, no doubt, but its time to move onto other shares. See you around and have a safe Xmas!
Mr C bcn did exactly the same with retail if you remember?
We had to get it in like 5pm and had an hour or so!!
It’s all risk tolerance, I have what makes your skin crawl! But being called mr c we clearly have diff risk tolerances!
John I think Gf will keep it and offload to likes of emh or something along that avenue at some point. Either way think it’s gone in a 6m-years time. Or they just hold it and control supply lithium.
Im massively bullish znwd from here think it retraces to 20p by end of q1. At least can trade it rather than being stuck in this tripe.
The one thing I actually think znwd did badly was not forcing bcn to stump up cash. They should have cash called a few months back and used up the reserves in bcn.
I also think kdnc is not one to touch. I’d avoid it
item 6 in the rns… https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/BCN/offer-becomes-unconditional-m2q5lecs64hbn15.html …
looks like you missed it… and haven’t accepted the offer yet…
tomcat-14..This what i got from IG
Unfortunately, the deadline to take up the rights for BCN was not received before the deadline (21/12/21). As a result your decision to take up the rights has not been processed.
do bcn and ganfeng have the same financial year end… 31dec…
it should be new year’s eve… or within 14-days from when you accept the offer… whichever is the later… the offer is still open for acceptance… until further notice…
that’s generally how they do these… after hours… you should use an rns notification service so you don’t miss out the next time… for me… it was strategically timed so that the share value was low on the distribution record date… for taxation purposes mainly… clever financial management by ganfeng… lol… they mustn’t have got theirs either… no holdings rns issued yet…
davemonk - Thats why its always wise to never have 'too many shares' in any one AIM company given whats happened here and many other AIM shares. Most AIM directors are skirting the boundaries of corporate decency when getting involved in an AIM startup anyway ! My BCN shares come to around £70k but when I hear people talking about having £200-300K in an AIM share my skin goes all crawly ! (but some of these people are just lying of course)
Do we know when GF will pay us for our shares?
johnp - did you see the way ZNWD did the placing last week, they issued the RNS to not really be visible till 17:00 and gave people till 20:00 to decide whether to take the offer. Many feel this was sharp practice as you would not be looking for an RNS on a 'quiet' share half an hour after market close. It was designed IMO to make it look like 'we love all you PI's so we are letting you in' but making it unlikely many would get chance. Anyway no matter you could buy at or below the placing price anyway.
People seem to be confused over on the ZNWD board and its certain that some think these shares are an equity issue as opposed to just an ownership change...
I have the ZNWD shares on HL.....
MANJ
Snap, snap, snap!!! Hopeless aren't they?
