Toli, last week you were a strong buy and this week you are a strong sell....that is quite a turnaround....
I wonder what are your motives?
Are you even invested in Avon?
Never been lower shorted
Pack it in and bail out while you have time
No wonder the drop its doomed
Something very odd going on
So many small trades ... no interest even at these levels?
When you look at the trades it does seem to be a bit odd...long succession of buys and the price kept dropping...I do believe that a bid is coming and have done for a long time...
I would much prefer to see the price recover but if the right offer is made I would also be happy
Dropping on no volume
OFFER ON THE TABLE ????????????????????????????????????????
RNS dropped but not the one I expected... still waiting on the one that confirms Alantra EQMC Asset Management SGIIC, SA has reached the magic 15 % holding
Added back for turnaround especially after heavy institutional buying
An RNS to drop that will change everything here
Steadily moving towards the magical 15 % holdings at which point they need to declare their intent......
To Ask if we know if Avons Protection Gear of any sorts
is being used in Ukraine and to what affect?
For that matter any theatre of war?
Cheers
Not sure that news has made much difference Seahorse9, it's going to take some startling news to get the SP out of the doldrums. I sincerely hope the exec team is working on a strategy (plans and activities) to revitalise the SP soon
Not an offer! Better....
See today's RNS

Article in today's Times pointing out Ancora have been in discussions with management about “underperformance, business strategy, historical missteps, executive leadership, governance and potential avenues to maximise value”.
Hopefully someone will come out of the woodwork with an offer.
...try 24/9/21 big buy, 5,000 shares, 20.91, price fell sharply not long after, in fact to < £10
'they've been wrong before'
Can you point to these examples you mention JUSI?
I’m slightly suspicious of these buys, they’ve been wrong before. Happy to be proved wrong. That all said I still think this share is a weak buy and I may well pile in
Also just spotted that their head also bought 10000 shares on Friday.....
These guys are not doing this with the expectation of losing money....
When the CFO buys 10000 shares today it shows a certain amount of confidence......if anyone knows he knows
The turning point was the decision to ditch its profitable UK businesses and buy into the cut throat USA and be taken for a ride. IMV longer term this needs to be sold to an american company to realise any value.
Imo this is the turning point and with the leadership we will start seeing continuous improvement and greater disciplines starting to be embedded through the company.
I have held shares for many years and I will be topping up today with a long term view. Definitely more orders to be won over the coming months/years and could be getting set-up for someone to buy the company in months/years to come.
Likely to fall today imv, uninspiring results smothered in adjustments and optimsism.
