Just reread and maybe too tough on Condor as it goes on to say- the testing will then be rolled out to include a wider population of DMU staff and students. Still think its us or are no batch samples being used yet-highly unlikely given all the Government enthusiasm. In use validation is the 10,000 sample and DMU is a good venue for part of the batch.
Just seen Sun article Teaboy Twitter
Sorry don’t want to be negative but don’t think this is us.
It’s not us. It’s innova medical group, remember them?
Sorry had a few Beers just read
How are we're involved swaps not saliva unless this is Bams which is swaps
The technology has already been validated – clinical testing phases are all complete. The next phase of the pilot, involving Durham University, is aimed at developing understanding of where to best use this technology and how it could be operationalised. Durham University is contributing academic expertise and, as the pilot begins, on-the-ground experience to the development of these key resources.
Staff and students will receive training in how to take the test, process the test and read the result. The test involves applying a swab to the throat and nose. The sample is processed by the user, on-site, and the results are available in 20 to 30 minutes. The test should only be taken following training.
I hope you're right doze...
grahamollie- the 10,000 batch is the validation trial only they don't seem to be trialling it as it is designed to be used! ie to test the whole population/community at single locations. Once validation is passed AS says he can give likely revenue flow from existing facilities if at full pelt and actual contracts when signed I suppose and Government ones as ndas lifted.
Pretty sure this will be part of the 10.000 batch but I seriously question the ability of Condor. Our test is designed to allow negative result participants to carry on as normal. It is a mass testing strategy and inviting selected students just proves Condor are brainless.
Most likely - as the Avacta test isn't showing on the gov website as being validated, unless it's under wraps for commercial purposes..

And Durham.
Sounds like sd biosensor test to me.
But who knows
