Where is odx's world beating vivisect test on the list? I can't see it?
So the list must be a little bit behind with updates
NDN, wherever you went 2 - 10 May, can you **** off back there, cant describe the difference the board has been without you
I’ve shared a link that tells you exactly what sampling method has been declared when CE marking. There’s no argument to be had, but shock of shocks NDN finds one. What a surprise.
Anyway, I’m still not on 100 recs yet, let’s focus on what is important here.
I don’t Ndn, far from it. I see things objectively.
Simplex health, oh, I saw that. Check out their accompanying instructional video, stating 2-3cm.
I suggest removing negative emotion from any research. It’s clearly doesn’t help.
And if you want to look at possible competitors in the cancer and targeted treatment space, Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals who are about to enter stage 2 clinical trials over summer with some promising albeit likely expensive cancer therapies, are bringing in under £100m in revenue, burning through cash so operating at a loss, but mcap of over $7bn. Probably cheap if things work out for them. Who knows where avacta could be in 18 - 24 months time

these guys shot up 40% on this kit... $55 a pop
Flowflex is not 2cm, nor AN.
Even the made in UK thing, for me isn’t a USP as such. If the Chinese tests were mega, and matched our performance in use case, they’d be cheaper and produced in higher numbers. They’d sell better.
Thing is, they’ll never get close. The vague ‘nasal’ marketing is rife. Ndn had a pop the other day when I suggested the flow thing was NMT.
The other tests have missed the boat. Our selection of S protein (prevalence/stability in the anterior nasal site) and the Affimer sensitivity can’t be matched.
AffiDx is a unicorn.
No competition then! Another brain tickler… can anyone change tbs thread to Re: Siemens LFT - Poor Competition
Yes, it’s the Healgen test. It’s a nasal sample, instructions are shove it up until there’s resistance. It was given approval for home use in Germany, but that’s not a CE mark for self use.
Said many times before PL, there’s zero competition. That’s the beauty of this investment, and one I truly believe others don’t see. Well, they can’t as people sell :)
Branded by Siemens, made in China
Not AN then...
I believe Siemens recently received a CE mark for its rapid Covid-19 antigen self-test that’s both nasal and nasopharyngeal.

I can’t find any CE marked self-use tests. Austria, Germany and the U.K. are the only ones rattling on with whatever they fancy. Given we’re now officially the best AN test on the planet, it’d be quite something to also be the only self use test
And only 95% sensitivity
The last time I posted about the competition I got over 100 recs. just sayin’... don’t feel pressured... them were the days, I was all pleased that there were no other saliva tests. Aaaah memories...
Anyway, have a look at this:
https://covid-19-diagnostics.jrc.ec.europa.eu/devices?manufacturer=&text_name=&marking=Yes&method=&rapid_diag=1&target_type=6&field-1=Specimen&value-1=2&search_method=AND#form_content
What do you reckon? There’s only one other anterior nasal swab antigen test that’s been CE marked. One. Even then it mentions NP. There are a lot of ‘nasal swab’ ones, that handy vague term, but just the one AN.
