@ipadtrader
This share went up very quickly in a short space of time, and that meant lots of new investors jumped in hoping to make a quick buck. With some serial rampers touting £3 next stop and the rest.... So many times ive viewed this and wondered why isnt it consolidating.
Last few days all pharmas have taken a hit, and that compounded with new investor worries, people sold, and they sold big. In the same way they bought big.
I think the problem we have now is because on the way down there have been many 'little' up's and false dawns nobody actually believes or trusts where the bottom now is
Happy that you agree RichKen.
What I will say is that the well known aphorism "travelling can be better than arriving" may well hold here for sure. A n RNS simply saying "Acvt and (a big pharma) have agreed to cooperate to develop neutralising therapy" would be a huge boost, and such an RNS could well land at any time!
Total Trades so far 2,511

Sold Value £2m
Vol. Bought 3,661,465
Bought Value £5m
Stanman, yes I understand this completely. But it will be a major step and the partners will know how to move this forward and cover every aspect of due diligence. It will take I am sure a minimum of six months with everything going well.
But for investors, it will be a huge step in the right direction.
That is one small step for Avacta buy one giant move towards a revolutionary cancer treatment.
Cheers, RK
agree Blood ninja
Matt you've learnt a lesson today, do not buy on other peoples comments only, do your research and look at the sentiment. The ramping here is criminal, I'm a holder but this lot would have had you buying in at £2.11 and when you pipe today they just say 'ah well, great time to average down/top up!'
People that speak reality get called trolls and the circus, in reality it's the other way round
My opinion is a hold for now, someone mentioned the potential a moment ago re partnerships and it really is mind blowing, but the risk is none of it comes off and it just drops back to high teens, don't be fooled, this is not a money printing machine
Oldandwiser,
Sorry, I didn't mean you per se! I meant the panic sellers. ;0)
Cheers
St
Stanman- completely agree with this.
The big thing for point one, RichKen, is that affimers (engineered at the business end to fulfil the desired function) have not been given to humans before. For neutralising therapy they would need to be given intravenously, ie directly by infusion into the blood stream. So slow-but-sure careful clinical studies (phase 1 to phase 111) needed.
For sure I'm not saying it can't be done - but it would not happen overnight, even with GSK or AZN
Mr Spacetomato,
Who said I was turning? In your cosmic dreams.
I've been here since the Friday it closed at 40p and was buying all the way up to 110p and remain fully invested. In fact I have added once yesterday and twice this morning.
My point about @Myles applies to anyone who comes on to a public BB, announcing a large position, gets a big following, then doesn't deliver on what he told everyone he was going to write up over the Bank Holiday weekend. It's not in keeping with that analyst's style. That's all. I am very well able to read RNSs myself, listen to and look at AS deliver very professional presentations and interviews, so I am in no way beholden to @Myles for my beliefs, though I would say he has a very good writing style that I honestly enjoy reading from an analytical point of view.
Now I know why people go on about top slicing as things like this happens
I hope your right RichKen.....I'm a newbie to this and am very confident that Avacta will come good...........but still fretting as to this constant dropping even though i have NO intention of selling, if that makes any sense
re purchased for 1.36 the shares I sold by mistake on Friday for 1.82 (not of course my core holding)
The material facts havnt changed - when the test is ready it will be ready and will change the world - no leaks in Avct they will RNS when ready whether price is falling or going up
The sellers selling no nothing differant just bored of covid19 shares, panic selling because no update and simply do not appreciate the significance of the test as most now think we are out of lockdown and the virus is beaten - how naive !
Freedom fighter. Binned in the filter box. Another One of the circus lol
Buy or hold
Olderandwiser what gives you the confidence to buy when we dropped about 80p in no time.. Really don't understand the mentality to sell when there's good news on the horizon.. When will the rot stop though. I'm going to hold but hard seeing your potential profits receed daily.. My average is 80p so in profit for now
It won't be annoying if the news comes that we are expecting:
1. New Partnership with AZ or GSK for pre-CISION Therapeutics to develop and prove a treatment for the SARS-COV2 Virus whhich will block it
2. Test approved for BAMS with Adeptrix
3. Test approved for LFT with Cytiva
Where will the SP be then, over £5 easily?
Cheers,
RK
I was reading all the wonderful things people were saying first thing this morning to piled in £18k at £1.45 and then the old bastard drops like a stone. Just need to hold I suppose and it'll come back?
Pass me a dry sherry....
O&W, what do you expect him to say that we don't know already?
We know what we are all waiting for from avct. We need to wait. Simple!
I placed a value, not a price, on avct on what we may get. I am happy with the price I paid for my 60k shares. Now, I wait.
I trust the science and I will not be lead by a bunch of panic sellers or mms manipulation. And I am not a trader. End of.
You all turn if you will, i am not for turning.
St
I was 150% up, then topped up at 1.82 thinking great...now overall im only 8% up on my whole holdings....currently im thinking what have I done, but I know im in the same boat as others. If the boat sinks we all go down together :-)
You'll feel the same way tomorrow the way things are going lpl
It's annoying I topped up yesterday rather than today.
Still wondering why @MylesMcNulty hasn't, or didn't, complete Parts 2 and 3 of his updated report. Very odd to advertise it, then not follow through.
Spot on RK !
