Vegas - Beta is word used by pseudo intellects to try to redirect attention away from the verbal rubblish they spout. Fortunately, as seen in this example, it has the opposite effect of highlighting the individual's narcissism with a massive spotlight.
No Bella except via kudos for enabling Mologic to sell essentially AffiDX under the Mologic brand to low income countries. Those test will not bring in full market returns. This is a Tory government and it is looking forward to great British businesses.
Doze..do you think the Govt will be getting a cut against non-UK sales...???
The consortium has been subject to NDA and therefore the cause of unwarranted speculation because the Government have seemed fit to be in NDA despite committing private company manufacturers capacity and infrastructure with promise of orders for a discounted test not yet confirmed as available when they had no right to impose an NDA for what is a purely commercial arrangement ie cheaper tests. I do think it true it has helped AVCT build capacity with the credibility bestowed and therefore get the LFD through evaluation. AS is perfectly entitled to emphasize the elements under his control when the government have so mismanaged together with the DHSC and Porton Down, condor and falcon.
The Government should just fess up on the situation in which they are attempting to bring a sovereign test to market at a cheap price, it is not a policy for applying secrecy.
I think we are. Look at all the evidence. But maybe we’re not? Because of Europe. My guess is as good as yours and everyone else’s here.
Hope that helps...
Given I asked (as I always do) in good faith because I am confused of what is developing now: Ben say yes, (gk disagrees with Ben), Speranza says yes based on the intimation of a selling to price to govt (which I am not sure is that conclusive in the RNS), Matt hopes not. The rest just seem annoyed that I had the temerity to ask a question.
Being part of the Moonshot program here was of huge significance to this boards appreciation of AVCT's covid potential. This was the route to £10 per share! But now apparently, It is a negative post simply to ask, given the problems of validation with the govt that seemed to have occurred, if we are still on board as part of the sovereign solution.
This is board is more polarised than ever. The assumption that any post that is not "deemed" positive, is therefore a deliberate deramp just seems to show a high level of insecurity within the stock itself by many on this board and it also stops any development of ideas. There is no need for it honestly.
Move on Ndn, you've flogged these synonyms to death, next page of the Thesaurus please.
As my mum used to say "your not big and your not clever"
Barry Beta
Beta is a word I rarely hear to describe a person, the only other I see use it often is deramping eggy
1 - IMHO yes, there are only two UK-designed 'sovereign tests; being evaluated by PHE; Avacta & Mologic. Given the unprecedented level of collaboration between the two companies, in line with the strategy outlined in the PA consulting document, it makes sense that Avacta are still deeply involved: at this late stage, the parties are stuck with each-other regardless of whether they like it, really.
2 - I wasn't surprised, NHS workers have been given boxes of tests for months for quite some time now; historically they have been Innova. We know the government has a large supply left of these and they are unlikely to go into the bin.
3 - As has been discussed to death on this board, any commercial agreements with the government are subject to strict NDA's, which can be found and read on Bidstats (in generic form). However, I though the RNS was very clear about the route and timeline to market; including multiple hints a large government contract is in the offing, such as an anticipated price point, assistance from Public Health England and phrases like 'we expect the principle demand to be from governments'.
Hope that helps, personally I have never been happier to hold this stock than I am today!

The only thing beta is 30 posts a day thinking you can influence the share price
Absolute melt.
Ndn, remember you are still here only because you are rubbish at deramping. We can't take you seriously
Wyn not want.
Want. You constantly start threads with negative sentiment yet seem annoyed when you get this response. You often make reasonable points but they are lost because of the above.
had to reach for the filter button.First time.
Just dropped the filter guessed it be you, what an absolute Cokcwomble, the only reason your up this early is to fire up your crackpipe you absolute plumb
What does this tell you?
The Group announced in Q4 2020 that it would focus on anterior nasal sampling because of the variability of saliva samples, although the test works with both sample types. The UK Department of Health and Social Care has also recently focused on nasal and other swab samples rather than saliva.
Do you think we would be selling our tests at a fiver if we were not part of govt plans???????????????????????????
Are we part of Moonshot or (still) under a NDA? Its just that the update has been interpreted by most here as a bit of a falling out with the govt. Was I the only one surprised when the NHS worker has been given 3 months, 3 months mind, of home tests? That takes us to June.
And why are we still trying to divine a RNS? Its like the Da Vinci code. And it shouldn't be. The language could (if it wanted ) be much less ambiguous.
