I know we agreed to split and segment, but Clueless Clive in marketing is whining about how he can't get the agency to get three (now four ) lots of materials in place. He needs a good arse kicking.
As for sniffles not being top end, I got a Prince Charles look-a-likey developing a corker of a nose drip. We need to dub over him as he has a broad Glasswegian accent . "Ye kanna beet a sniffle spit stick fur keep yeerselv and the bairns safe" isn't really gelling yet and Clive is having another melt down in the toilet.
please help Clive with some ideas, otherwise we are looking at skiploads of tests in off white.
I've signed up the image rights for Bob Carolgees (sp?).
I've already got the artwork for my "Wet the big stick" but its getting mixed reactions in testing
Woah woah woah there... I thought we’d agreed to split the market Chengdo, you can have your naff holiday summer product, but I’ll be the big seller come winter time. As for you, latecomer TL, I don’t think ‘sniffles’ fits with the top end market you’re going for. I’ll be happy to snap up the low end of the market, pile em high, sell them cheap (but ideally for a very healthy margin, nice one Sir Al)
I have to admit GnG has a certain charm, but it's a cheeky Ozzie red to SSS Grand Cru Chablis, and I am sure we want a quality image. As for HIGF4U, it's more of a Peruvian White, 4 for a tenner in the end bins at Aldis. Market segmentation is good to do, but for launch I think we need to lead with quality first.
I’ve been critical of AVCT’s management in the past as I feel they’ve always looked out for institutions & high net worth investors at the expense of PI’s (see 2 x placings in April right before material news & the now infamous one at £1.20). However, putting all that to one side, I don’t think there has ever been a better time to own shares here. IMO the involvement of Cytiva will mean the rapid POC test makes it to market, as they have managed with SONA. It’s also clear that PCR isn’t suitable for long term mass testing - I certainly don’t fancy a swab being stuffed up my nose. I’d say the odds of an RNS update next week are high, could be any day as the last 3 have been released in Tue / Wed / Thur.
Short term target of £2.50 upon successful test specs - volume will be off the charts on a SONA type RNS.
I thought we agreed it was going to be called the Sniffles Spit Stick, PL have you talked to marketing?
I think there are a fair few flu vaccines ready to go?
Did someone just mention Have I Got Flus For You?
exactly moniman, do you have flu or do you have covid? people will need a quick test to know for sure
re earlier post......"more of a concern is flu season coming, what are the plans. Even if we don't have a vaccine for covid, lets make sure that we don't have people turning upto doctors with c-19 like symptoms. If I was government I would be buying in flu vaccine by the truck load for later."
I'm in here as I think ACVT have several irons in the fire aside from Covid 19 testing, but also there is another company with a stage 2 completed universal flu vaccine amongst other things....ticker OO.........just sharing the love ....lol
Sweden not shut down, but then again not back to normal. construction, road building etc ongoing. Cafe open but tables spaced 2m apart. kids under 16 in school, old people homes now being isolated and managed (at last, bloody shameful initial program)
There is a half way path to crashing the economy or sitting on a beach with 5000 others. That path with tracking and testing contacts regardless of symptoms would seem a reasonable. The faster the tracking and testing, the faster we can deal with the infection.
more of a concern is flu season coming, what are the plans. Even if we don't have a vaccine for covid, lets make sure that we don't have people turning upto doctors with c-19 like symptoms. If I was government I would be buying in flu vaccine by the truck load for later.
The scale of the damage to our economy is catastrophic. The French president has already said that if there is a second spike they will do nothing about it. The economies cannot take it. There is simply neither the characters nor the intellect in the govt to deal with this. It was there misreading of the situation that caused the shutdown. The lives that will be lost because of this unnecessary action will outweigh this virus. So, as the light dawns on their dim brains, you can pretty much bank on the economy opening up and staying open irrespective of any measures to combat C19
I think you must be right Doggy.
Either that or they really have no choice as unless the economy bounces back quickly the UK is in deep deep trouble. At the beginning of the crisis, the UK Gov strongly believed that the economy would bounce back quickly, hence deployed the furlough scheme at huge cost. It is now plainly obvious that the economy will not return to pre CV levels for many years. Very tough times ahead.
And the more de rampers on this board also means one thing and it’s similar to what cows do when rain is coming they head to the hedges because they know
It’s the same as sea birds diving in the ocean they know fish are there
It’s the same as de rampers they want shares because they know what’s coming
The more de rampers means good news is a coming
The fact that the government are opening up and encouraging families etc to go to pubs cinemas theme parks at the end of the month tells me one thing.......and that’s they have a quick and easy coronavirus test ready to go soon!!!
I genuinely think this is what’s happening
Imo
