Long running meme when anyone asks for SP prediction. We don’t know if it’s us, but when the yanks turn up it’s bound to raise the SP.
See what you did there.... meanwhile, here’s the article
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/may/06/new-concerns-indian-covid-variant-clusters-found-across-england-ongoing-risk-high
The Avacta LFT test might finally curry favour with the UK government in light of the new clusters of Indian variants.
Guardian reporting multiple clusters of the Indian variant in the UK; announcement being held back to coincide with “multiple announcements” after purdah ends tomorrow. Check out the Guardian front page...
Exactly well said PL - some folk are so utterly clueless naive illiterate and poorly informed
Is it us??
Hey Dan, looks like you share a brain cell with the bitter twisted freak of a moron that pasted my post. Read this very thread, in it I’ve also said there’s a chance we’ll get nowt. Is it us? I don’t care. We don’t need the U.K. govt to be a success as we have a 100% sensitive world class test. We’ll sell all we make, whenever that is - so who cares if the CE mark doesn’t arrive according to an arbitrary vague timescale provided by a third party.
I didn't tell the whole truth Dan and feel guilty. Check out what's going on in therapeutics, trials, partnerships, etc. Already in place and progressing. This isn't a hail Mary, this is a breakthrough within the biotech industry and Sir AS captains the ship, only an idiot would chose not to come aboard. Plenty of them. You can lead a horse to the water but you can't make it drink.
Let the bears continue. What you Dan fail to realise/comprehend is the satisfaction of LTH's in Avacta. The reality through factual business updates is that we are online and at the forefront of diagnostics with IP competitors could only dream of. Good luck with your other plays.
What on earth are you on about now Dan? Meanwhile, do you want a signed t-shirt you freaky lil’ fangirl stalker?
Dan, if the SP falls between now and commercialisation, why does it matter?
i see someone on twitter is calling your post 'naive' PL, what u say old bean
now this RNS had better land tomorrow or Monday at the latest or the bears will have a field day, 241 at close of play, pogwash
All sorts of provisos scaredy to stop del boy applications, hopefully we have already bypassed participation.
Just wondering how this new test validation process will affect things. Does everybody have to start all over again?
PL, that was my point in reply to scardey. Unless your question was the same, and rhetorical :)
Bein, so why haven’t they been cracking on with it? They’ve validated plenty tests. Looks like they’re waiting for us. Is it us? And the circle is complete once more...
Sleepydave that is a quality post mate.
Equally, the rest are available for sale and have not been selected.
The 30m U.K. capacity has been setup to deliver LFT’s for the UK. It will be used as soon as ready imo. The selected test will be selected any day, then Innova will be moved on.
A lot of mud gets chucked at the UK government but avacta as yet haven't presented a finished product that can be sold!
I quite agree our test is the best in the world at present but it doesn't mean its a guaranteed sell to the uk government at this moment. It could be a supply issue that favours one from the other at present...
You might be right DaProphet, or they might not be in any rush whatsoever to move beyond Innova as they're nice and cheap. They still have a pile of cash in the £912m tender left to spend to get more on a plane from Chin-ah. The DPS might be in place for the longer term, or maybe they're more interested in variants. Who knows....
Mologic didn't get over the first hurdle at Porton down (according to 4 Bens information).
So there is no reason to think they are further on.
Neither is there any reason to think that the current Mologic test compares to ours.
We are better (for goodness sake we have spent days analysing the headline figures in the context not only of varying CT values but varying CT systems)
When tecbadger says we have taken an unorthodox route to validation he is correct.
Apart from anything else pre pandemic a similar test would have taken years.
You get the impression the Civil service hark back fondly to those days.
And yet here we are on the cusp not because of but despite the government.
A historic achievement for which Al deserves the appropriate epithet before his name and not the cavilling carping of narrowminded numpties.
One thing for sure with Avacta it will be tomorrow one day
Looking back on the recent presentation. Dr Al response to gov talks was they were making very slow progress.. I'm starting to think the mologic test might be decided at first and then maybe a change to ours in another period of time or a combined test maybe this hybrid one..the pd story baffles me still. Did mologic even get tested there?
All will sell imo and more....
