If you're desperately searching for AffiDx, not being able to find it on the parent company website of the distributor isn't much of a concern. Try using Alphabet. Whoops, I mean Google. The first result is a direct link to AffiDx on the Bioserv page....
I don't see any reason to create a problem that doesn't exist. Mystery.
don't get me started on Sequoia flooring, cant find any web links on their website to Sequoia investments at all!!
it (probably) Isn't linked because Claibre is a US Site and Affidx is not yet available to the US market. Best kept isolated so that there are no unintended US sales.
Thank you for the links to Bioserv. I wasnt paying enough attention so will go and stand in the corner and then see if I can order me up some Avacta!
I’m emailing Alphabet to point something out. I just tried using their search functionality and it’s rubbish. It’s been around for 6 years now and I don’t know how they expect people to find out that you’re supposed to use Google. Anyone would think they’re separate entities part of the same group.
@digitalman Calibre / Bioserv are the same Company:

Touk - you complained about people being rude in responding to your concerns… come on. You’re repeating concerns now. Sounds a bit obvious.
As has been repeatedly said - The LFT is not novel tech. It’s mature. Very basic. Not innovative. Simple.
I have been on the Calibre site and cannot find any avacta products using search for Avacta and Affidx. Any ideas anyone on where I can find?
LFD - established tech
LFD - established validation
Avacta - performs better than two other AB based LFDs
I get the concern Tut and hey valid to raise it but I'd agree Reisgo that its things like breatherlysers, air detectors etc that are excluded. Not 100% but high enough that the sentence is mildly concerning rather then disastourous. Ifvanythung it is positive because implies will use validated assessment as in that's how you get CEMark.
Touk....it worked for Calibre.

Roundhowe. Is that what icecool means by :
“ We have passed the NHS procurement framework!! Desktop review only so truthfully can’t see any concerns imo!”
Because that doesn’t seem to be the same thing when I Googled “ NHS procurement framework”
MHRA Confirms Registration of Avacta’s AffiDX® SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Lateral Flow Test
7 June 2021
Avacta Group plc (AIM: AVCT), the developer of diagnostics and innovative cancer therapies based on its proprietary Affimer® and pre|CISION™ platforms, is pleased to announce that the MHRA has confirmed registration of Avacta’s AffiDX® SARS-CoV-2 antigen lateral flow test allowing the Company to place the product on the market in the UK for professional use.
Tut, they could mean no technology such as breathalysers or sniffer dogs, for which a validation processes have not been established.
Gje I sure hope you’re right, though Avacta still a great LTH for the cancer treatment potential.
Where is the link showing Avacta has passed NHS procurement framework? And when was that? And what does that mean?
Please pretty please??
tut, my interpretation of this is that they are referring to a class of device or technology, such as LFT's. A novel technology would have to go through the usual channels to get authorisation and not come under this legislation.
This link was posted on the sng BB, on Tuesday, by 'Titania' It mentions sng. I don't think it was posted here. There's a section on covid testing.

I have a feeling we wont be getting an RNS at all.
Affidx will be supplied as its on the framework but as it wont be one large exclusive contract it wont require an RNS.
Unless Charlie buckets sauce is correct and we have a large contract with an airline...
We have passed the NHS procurement framework!! Desktop review only so truthfully can’t see any concerns imo!
I hope I’m wrong but I still have concerns as to what this sentence on scope of the legislation means:
“ That is why we have decided to limit the scope of technologies within scope of the proposed regulation to mature existing technologies that we have an established validation process for.”
The established validation process presumably is the frozen pig spit at PD which we cannot pass.
And before you all start, yes I do hold shares, etc , etc
Thanks gje306 for posting this. I've posted it on the ABDX BB as well.
