A comfort blanket?! Aaaaw diddums.
Avacta have shared a roadmap, it’s on their website. In their presentation there was a list detailing the substantial newsflow that’s due.
The reason those with a test don’t have a comparable Mcap is because they’re one trick ponies that will be forgotten about once Avacta’s test is on the market. I know it’s not what you want to hear dreamachine. Pay the price now or substantially more later. That’s your choice.
I'd stick to GDR if I were you instead of cluttering this board up with rubbish.
Dreamcatcher, filtered. Now, go back to a "got the kit but no one to buy it". Adios, gringo.
To be fair Cytiva also have deal with Avacta's nearest potential rival.
As I say all we can do is go by the facts of what we know so far.
- Cytiva a huge player believes in Avacta. So does Adeptrix
- The management spoke to all the media months ago as soon as they knew they could have something special in this global crisis
- We signed up a big distributor
- We are seeking a global Pharma to help progress the therapy side too
Things we haven't been told but might happen:
- Dual listing to unlock further value in the SP
- Whether there is behind the scenes work for not only a therapy partner but a vaccine partner too
Existing business aside from Rapid testing
- Will also be ground breaking at that is a great base too

Helps a lot when trading in aim
I had the same emotions MrSpeculator.
After seeing your investment drop like that, I reminded myself that I am in here for the long run and what Avacta have in the pipeline.
I can't remember who posted the 3 links yesterday to Share Talk (I think it was Share Talk) by Myles but it highlighted the volatility of AIM and the lesson I learnt was to keep calm on big drops. It helped me keep calm this morning. Thanks.
It can be scary stuff and I sometimes wonder if it is just best not to look at the share price until the markets have closed (because I am not day trading and I don't think this will drop too much in one day in the near future).
I'd rather be in the Avacta boat than the GDR surf board at the moment (not dissing GDR). Their share is up and down like a YOYO at the moment.
It was stated on the news earlier that there is a lot of profit taking going on in the markets after 2 or 3 good days.
BUILD IT AND THEY WILL COME..

Testing is the only way forward!
Agree with your post but there is always that chance that it will not be approved and maybe that is what is scaring people away. Maybe the regulators (approvers) will not like non medical companies like Medusa joining the game, just to line the pockets of already self made billionaires. The term "black balled" comes to mind.
I've not sold but I am aware of some dodgy decisions made behind closed doors.
Also... the FTSE is sea of red this morning
All very good points...
good post MrS...spotted this on twitter:
'The market is no place for amateurs. You get carted out trading on emotion. Buy and have conviction in your buys. Take advantage of opportunities presented. Don't be the sheep that buy the highs and sell the lows.'
Right so when we saw the SP this morning a lot of people asked why and some will have panicked. They are natural reactions and emotions. But when you are about to panic, it is best to check all the facts and information before you do.
This morning, the "doubter" on my shoulder said sell. My head said check the facts. Then my finger said BUY so I bought after checking the facts.
Facts:
- Buys today are 2:1 - no mass sell off. This indicates the sentiment is to BUY not sell
- No working vaccine has been announced today which will be readily available tomorrow. No reason to sell. More to BUY
- No Rapid test producer has come out and announced they can meet the global need alone and can produce 100-200M tests per day. No reason to sell. More reason to BUY
- News is still to be announced by our collaboration partners. This indicates to BUY ahead of news
- We are still pushing for fast track approvals. This indicates to BUY ahead of news
- We have a distributor to distribute the rapid tests on a mass scale. Why sign up a distributor without strong confidence in your test
