No problems cheers
I was just going say Baldy... great call on ODX!
They call me Nostragavus. Rainbow chasers get caught out simple.
The Spectrum was best, personal opinion. But the Amiga was the real deal. Nostalgia.
Thank you themuir01
Bang on
It reminds me of the 'mine's better than yours' rivalry between ZX Spectrum and C64 computer owners when I was a kid lol. Both were pretty good for their time. AVCT is probably the C64 with some better features and likely upgrading to Amiga with the other stuff it's got going on.
Laughable comments about avct on the odx board. This is why I chose to invest in players with a big future past covid namely avct, tils and hemo.. Any element of covid in there work is a bonus.. Some of the covid rainbow chasers will make a lot of money but most will lose a pack chasing and buying on spikes
Daves1310 nice one... good luck pal.. hope it all works out for you
Well I moved 30% of my GGP holding over here a few days ago - it made around 9% and I've now moved it to ODX (in which my investment was small compared to AVCT) but still have a good chunk of my ISA here - more than ODX in fact. To say ODX will be hype is going too far IMO but the news today does not change the status of AVCT obviously. It doesn't take a genius to see the huge market potential for quick, cheap home covid testing kits. If anything I would imagine the demand for the antigen kit would be higher.
Dreamachine,
Good luck with the extra shares floated tomorrow and the competition with DNAnudge. Not selling GDR to me indeed.
St
Agreed we have at some point. I just wouldn't sell here to try and be clever and catch something else on the way up it's likely to bite u in the ass. If I had more spare I would have put some profits from here in there but this has worked out great here.
I first made my profit in GDR from 28p to 74p then sold out and made a small profit in ODX after that to then come in here as once the Cytiva partnership was mentioned etc I did my research and saw this as the best option along with the cancer play too. This has more longer-term gain potential than the others for me and I won't be trying to chase rainbows. I believe in another month or two my thought process will show I was right to stay and anyone else will too. I expect by end of July maybe sooner to be running across to Asda and buying some champagne and a cigar to celebrate a life changing experience. I wish everyone else the same experience. I'm in with pure profit now. Soon I may be able to buy my first home at 42 and after all these years things are finally going my way. Good luck to everyone.
Not sure the CEO actually added anything new.
The thing is baldyb220 we have all been there lol!
Agreed, if you check the SP chart for AVCT over the past 3 months you will find that before every great rise, there is a small pull back. I’ve been here since 49p & have often had my doubts of no news coming reverted in the space of 24hrs. I suspect the same will happen again here by tomorrow afternoon...
Thoroughly agree, we’ve had a bit of a rise up to a nice round number and the fickle and weak have moved some cash out. Good luck to them. Personally I’m very happy and relaxed as we consolidate before the substantial newsflow starts piling in. At that point they’ll rush back but it’ll cost them more. You pay your money, you take your chances...
We’re trading really tight again. This has happened prior to the last 3 bits of news.
I have a strong feeling anyone who has sold here today in a panic or to catch the new rise from ODX due to news will get caught out. Well done to them if it works out but I can see ODX being a big hype job and some people are gonna lose out like those who got caught in the mess of NYCT and GDR chasing the rise.
I'm not moving cos those who sold here will very unlikely get back in. We have moved greatly recently and I expect some claw back to keep things grounded here and no spiking. Once we get the news we are waiting for we will be past £2.50 no problems.
Just be patient everyone.
