Im just fatigued with it now. Its been a very long 6 months. Feels like using wyns charts would have been a better way to play this, rather than staying loyal. Now I fear we have 3 weeks of pain.
LOL
*hear ffs...
Kainos, don’t be a stranger, I’d hate to see you get spiked on £200 a share
US89, he was certainly vague on production, hence this thread, but he hasn’t got a choice until contracts are signed. With the CV numbers they’re now in a position to start clocking them up. He’d have looked ridiculous saying that they might have production of Xm but only if we sign such and such a deal. He’s already stretched it by giving the 30m figure, so he must have confidence of at least that volume via the govt. Sad to hear you were deflated, I’m excited by the potential. Ava6k was always over those timelines but they’ll release news as they progress so we’ll hopefully here more this year - along with affyxell which was a bonus
Pl has assessed the opportunity very well.
I’m sorry to say but I was slightly underwhelmed today-v v slightly deflated.
I’m not overly unhappy, nor am I frightened off but a few things were slightly light in their delivery. I think this sense was also reflected in the market. My views as follows:
LFD production numbers v ambiguous. Far too much TBC.
Bams gone and seemed too easily dismissed.
AVA6000 seemed longer timeline and more hurdles to market than I’d understood (could have been my misunderstanding).
Slightly too disappointing numbers financial year
No presentation of ongoing non Covid revenue projections. (Apologies if I missed them but if they were there).
Main upsides:
Outstanding LFT validation. (Although late and not in the format promised)
High quality presentation of AVA6000 from Neil Bell.
I got the feeling the meeting was slightly ‘rattled off’ to cover the hot spots of investor demand, which of course is understandable.
Despite the presentation, we’ve achieved the best test in the world and with greater ongoing prospects than many and I do feel the Company is undervalued at the moment and will be worth a staggering amount very soon. I think it’s going to considerably exceed the value that many have been expecting.
No holding here - being honest.
Did the classic wobble (after many months) when should have trusted the TECH / Dr Smith - but as a relative Newbie to AIM - Sold on the negs / trolls / BB influences - and just boredom
Annoying as I had initially spiked myself at 150 ish - averaged down to 113 - and would now be v happy.
A lesson spelled out to any new AIM investor lol
AVCT - like Arnie says - I will be back ....
GL Sir
Evening Kainos, good to see you popping in, you still got a holding in here? Poor Doh, currently banned on twatter too :-D
PL75
Good to see a great company on the uppers...
Some fab people here :)
Miss DOH - role model LOL (Pot Noodle with no water grafting me arse off on a build project) - stays with me still.
Hindsight is a perfect science
GLA here
Seems to have fallen out of love with me and now stalking PL75, very happy with that :)
Who’s NDN on Twitter?
Haha. I was thinking precisely that (although am an eco geek). What a chitty question in context of the issue's at hand.
recyclable.... own up which one of you ****s thought it'd a good idea to waste 5 min of the Q&A with that trash of a question?
I would ask Ndn although he's filtered me why he blocked PL on twitter
I'm thinking operation moonshot has to happen - otherwise it will come back to haunt Boris.
I also think there may well be a couple of twists - like recyclable (see Abingdon) or 100%uk
I’ll keep my eyes out mowzer, now you mention it, my downstairs windows have been sparkling recently
Bad luck PL you got a stalker nutter... he must really ‘like’ you. Perhaps it is one of those crushes. I heard on LBC the other day that stalkers were taking advantage of lockdown with victims ‘cornered’ at home. Check your windows and make sure there are no 50 year old weirdos spying on you...
*your
Filter me, weirdo!
Ha! The wonder of google, I just googled Covid test OEM and it was a company on the front page. Quite a coincidence, as you’ve said we have better performance (the best in the world apparently) with an easier sample type. In the same way you have GAD giving up production of their own test for a better one, others might follow and decide giving up some margin for increased sales is worthwhile.
Good post PL Im of similar thinking, since the excellent CV this for me has become seriously derisked, I will now just sit on my hands and wait for the company making news flows, there will be a lot more to come.
Interesting from your link that Lionex AG test is also Spike protein and has similar performance to our own but critically its not AN. Also their IFU states best used with fresh not frozen samples, sounds familiar.
PL75...agree with your summary and following is from todays RNS...
'The collaboration with Mologic also provides initial manufacturing capacity with the benefit of a short set-up time for the lateral flow test with Global Access Diagnostics ('GAD'), in addition to the agreements with BBI Group, Abingdon Health and others, that will provide manufacturing capabilities that can be scaled to several millions of tests per month.'
'OtherS'....we know about Omega but who else is out there?
Who have they got lined up to manufacture in Europe?
Further updates next couple if weeks and possibly a European manufacturing deal...
Well, I'm pretty sure they have not all spent the last 12 months just twiddling round with strips and buffers, so I would expect quite a bit of progress on supply to be lined up. I think the 'between the lines' reading of what was said in the presentation today is pretty plausible. They will want to get the UK stuff nailed down first though I think.
AS is a perfectionist it's clear, and probably a bit of a control freak as well, so he chooses his words carefully. I'm expecting a steady drumbeat of good news for the next few months at least.
Wish I’d optimised for 10/10 now. Meant to sign off with a Boooooooooom!!!!
good to have a data scientist on board 9.5/10 ramp
I’ve just listened to the manufacturing slide, the following one & the Q&A a few times and the language has me increasingly convinced that a few people trying to be clever with trades might end up caught with their pants down. He talks about the U.K. and particularly U.K. manufacturing very distinctly. He mentioned wanting to keep manufacturing in the U.K. but will have to look abroad to meet demand. He mentions that he will update on the U.K. situation as soon as possible. All of this appears to be ringfenced. The govt is the route to the U.K. market and why would this capacity be released for those tests to end up in europe. It wouldn’t, so talk about up to a certain amount of capacity in the U.K. would very strongly suggest that it’s just a matter of time until it’s all confirmed. If it wasn’t likely to happen, then the answer would be just 5m, not a range.
He also talk about significant demand in Europe. This can’t be met by ringfenced U.K. demand and it’s unlikely that 30m would satisfy it anyway. The slide has OEM partners written on it. It’s there in red and white. Here’s an example... https://lionex.de/oem-3/ He talks about third parties awaiting CV data. Plural. This suggests that multiple OEM deals to line up supply to meet significant demand in Europe will appear.
He goes on to say they cant even think about the states due to needing even more capacity. That’s being considered. In addition.
In conclusion... Europe is happening, margins are better and they’re in active discussions. All good. Everything points to the U.K. happening- that’s 30m. Bonus. The US might be the final cherry on top.
All wild speculation/my interpretation. Have a listen.
