Jar, there is an image just below (not one above with a glucose meter) that sentence with a picture of LFT's lined up with one being held close to the camera. Dotting the i's and crossing the t's. Buckle up.
The image has gone but the subtext has been left 'Image for illustrative purposes only.'
The WebAdmins are getting sloppy.
In the last couple of minutes. I was looking at it, refreshed the page and has now gone
It has been taken down
you probably need to clear your browser cache
Has this now been taken down as I cannot see a link?
Yeah I was looking at that page on a PC web browser. I don't know Timster, maybe it is really meaningful.
I'm not talking about that link, I know your attention to detail is awful but look on the diagnostic page:
https://avacta.com/diagnostics/
there is a link to:
AffiDX® SARS-CoV-2 Lateral Flow Rapid Antigen Test
which currently only goes to the product page
why would that link have been added do you think?
They make the claim "Rapid lateral flow tests help to find these cases". It has a little 2 next to it which means look at reference number 2 which confirms that the UK Gov supports this claim by a link to the rapid testing program.
so are you saying this part added to the diagnostic page today with a link:
Our diagnostics division is utilising our proprietary Affimer® platform to develop AffiDX®in vitro diagnostic (IVD) tests, including the AffiDX® SARS-CoV-2 Lateral Flow Rapid Antigen Test.
is not relevant?
its just "a reference to the claims they are making"
They've been working on this test for a year. That link has appeared today, I've no idea what it could mean. There are a few options though
The level of sarcasm has really ramped up lately.
Please keep it up, I am enjoying it.
The link is there as a reference to the claims they are making in the statement above.
You lot are always looking for hidden clues when it's just wishful thinking.
Like when you were making a big deal of the statement that Avacta test not currently for sale in the US.
If you go on the Innova website you will see the exact same statement which is to prevent US customers ordering a test that is not FDA approved.
"So Avacta have provided a link to make it easier for people to obtain tests - which are tests from their competitors? You just couldn't make it up."
Hmmmmm interesting isn't it, it's almost like they might be getting ready to replace those tests
Sarcasm - 'the use of words that mean the opposite of what you really want to say'.
So the link text is "AffiDX® SARS-CoV-2 Lateral Flow Rapid Antigen Test" which currently links to the product page. I'd imagine once we have CV that product page will also include details of that.
I expect they've added it back because it's failed and it's crap
To encourage folk to order an innova test, obviously.
I think they put the link there so you can click through & order someone else’s test.
The links are there as references to back up the statements made in the text above.
Why do you think it is there?
Yes, with links to NHS test ordering website
few, they've not binned everything, that's a relief...
Diagnostic page text changed too with a few links that redirect to the staging login form. (the commercial links bit with IVD text)
"Avacta aims to become the leading provider of innovative, next generation diagnostic solutions, and the first choice for disruptive immunodiagnostic products.
Our diagnostics division is utilising our proprietary Affimer® platform to develop AffiDX®in vitro diagnostic (IVD) tests, including the AffiDX® SARS-CoV-2 Lateral Flow Rapid Antigen Test.
We have also established commercial relationships with IVD companies worldwide to improve the clinical utility of diagnostic testing solutions, by combining bespoke Affimer® reagents with leading diagnostic platform technologies."
And a load of LFTs at the bottom of the page
With the glucose test picture!!
